Ulasan The Westin Bund Center Shanghai

Hotel was clean and sheets were extremely comfortable. Room air conditioner was cold and working well (unlike other hotels in china with controlled temperatures) which I really appreciated. Room cleaning service is great! View of the bund is wonderful, though I was only able to see the Oriental Pearl Tower as the rest of the major towers are blocked by the building right infront of the window. Privacy might be an issue as people in the opposite buildings could look right into my room and bathroom, especially at night with my room lights on. I could also clearly see whatever was going on in the opposite buildings if their curtains were not closed. That is a pity considering the large windows the hotel room had to offer, as the view is mostly blocked by buildings right infront. Though you can walk to Nanjing Road, cycling is more convenient and if thats not what you want to do, the walk may be a little far if you want to go there often. You can also walk to The Bund. Nearest metro station is Yuyuan Garden which is about a 15-20min stroll away. Overall a really good stay despite the privacy issue, if you dont mind that then this is a good choice if you would like to be further away from the hustle and bustle.

Our stay was great. We really loved the buffet breakfast and enjoyed the pool.

Good experiences, good location

This is my second time staying at the Westin on Christmas Eve. The facilities are so comfortable, staff are incredibly friendly, and location is amazing. Highly recommend a stay here. 

Great stay, however was charged a fortune for room service breakfast even though breakfast was included in the room and we were not informed room service would be extra.

book the room with the pearl tower view, it was superb view. location of hotel is very good. walking distance to many attractions. facilities are slightly dated but bed is really comfortable.

Really nice hotel. Great location and near a lot of attractions. I found value in staying here due to the convenience of near by attractions but I chose to eat outside of the hotel because the prices are high. The bar drinks were not good and made with very little alcohol and far too much ice. High price as well. There happened to be some famous actor staying at the hotel and security blocked access to a couple floors so I couldn't access the elevator to get to my room after check in so that was really annoying. Eventually I was able to get to the room and it was nice. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. A bit small but nice none the less.

Solid hotel but simply underwhelming for the money. Booked a room with view on the Pearl Tower which was especially cool at night. Staff spoke English and was kind. Restaurants are delicious and breakfast good.

The hotel is very beautiful, a great match between classic and modern style. Everything was very smooth. Levis and Max helped out at the reception with a fast service, and also an upgrade. The room was very big, with a wonderful view on the bund. The position is also amazing. Breakfast could be a bit better, but also very good. Will come back 100% when back to Shanghai.

Westin always lives up to the expectation of a 5 star hotel. Service is consistently good and staff are friendly

Very very good hotel. Classy and elegant. Stayed at the deluxe room with a view of the Pearl Tower. Fabulous.

I could walk to Waitan and see the Oriental Pearl Tower from my hotel room, which was great location. It was nice to have a lot of sightseeing spots to walk around and to enjoy using the city tour bus. However, I think the breakfast was not as good as I thought. And the very small size pool and the overall slightly old facility. What surprised me the most was the bathroom in the room where I stayed. I think the bathroom needs some improvement. Mirrors are installed on one wall of the bathroom..I think the people who have been there will have been so surprised by the bathroom like me. Why should a front mirror be on one side of a wall in the bathroom? Of course, I'm not sure if it's in the room I stayed in or in every other room... I was surprised.

Staff very helpful and breakfast have a lot of choice.

Good hotel, well located in Shanghai near The Bund. The restaurant a little expensive for the buffet, but the food is very good to be honest and there is a wide range available. Breakfast is good but if you don't arrive early (before 0830) there is a long queue, so arrive as early as possible!
