Ulasan Haiyou Hotel (Shanghai Bund Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street)

The staff here are lovely and very kind. The room is okay, the size is medium.

I had a decent stay, but the room could definitely be cleaner. The bed was very clean and soft so I could sleep very well. But the floor (especially corners), seemed like they haven’t been cleaned in months. I even saw two small bugs waking.. But than again it’s a cheap price for a good location and the bed itself was clean. So I would actually recommend it when you’re on a budget.

The location is excellent—just a short walk to Nanjing Street for shopping and The Bund for stunning views. The Family Mart in front of the hotel and easy access to East Nanjing metro station, which has a non-stop train from/to the airport, were super convenient. The lobby is on the 5th floor, accessed via the elevator next to the Ji Hotel entrance by the red phone booth. The room was comfortable for two people with enough space for two medium luggages. The bed was great but there was no mini fridge in the room. Overall, a recommended stay for its location and convenience.

The location is very convenient. The room is definitely on the smaller side, and the soundproofing is horrible. The walls are extremely thin, and we were kept awake by other guests talking multiple nights in a row. One out of two elevators was out of service for the final 2 days, and it was a huge inconvenience. It was impossible fit into the elevator with luggage, and it took over 30 minutes to finally get down to the first floor. For a building with multiple hotels, only having one working elevator is unacceptable. The cleanliness was okay. There were large clumps of hair and dust beneath and around our bedside tables.

The place is super close to the main road. The staff is very efficient and super helpful with foreigners. The room was very clean and the towels were changed every day. They also offer free water every day. I recommend it!!

The room is very small also, the bed is very closed from windows and I feel very cold during sleeping.

The receptionist very helpful even they don't understand we spoke, near to nanjing road pedestrian, the bund, 7 minutes walk from metro exit 4. Very clean and cozy room, cleaned our room every day and refiil the bottle drink.

Small rooms but clean and good. The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to Nanjing donglu and to line 2.

The Hotel has a great location and good for the price. Check in was smooth even though they did not really speak English, they were prepared. We got new water bottles daily however if think they did not clean the room in the three days we were there, maybe only for longer stays. I would go there again

Great location of the hotel! Although the personnel did not speak English they were really friendly and translated everything on their phone. The room is really new and everything is clean!

Good location, good service staff, new room, very small room.

This hotel is good for tight budget travel. The room is decent, but you can really smell the remnants of smoke (cigarette). Floor smells like wet clothes. It's located on the 5th floor and at first it is very confusing to locate.

The room had an unpleasant smell but it was still relatively clean.
