The staff is nice but the place looks quite run down. We were assigned a room that stank of smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoker room. The towels, mattresses, pillows, etc. stank of smoke so we ended up leaving earlier than planned. The staff were kind and refunded us for the remaining night.

Its a really tiny room which was perfect for a short stay while in transit. The staff is very polite and helpful but there was no one to assist with bags.
The highlight for me was that breakfast is available from 6:30am. The breakfast was delightful and the breakfast time was perfect considering the next journey began at 8am.
The hotel is basically within proximity of Hongqaio railway station but the driving route requires at least 15mins so plan accordingly.

The room was good, its quite big, in one room have 2 floor, 1 bed at 1st floor and another one at 2nd floor. There are some small restaurant nearby to find.

主要幾個問題：首先地理位置很一般，在高架橋下面。雖然寫的國家會展中心，但是實際距離幾公里。第二真是沒有啥吃的，衹能走很遠到商業區，但是叫外賣很方便，外賣很多。酒店門前有一個沙縣小吃，其他基本幾百米內無商鋪。第三室內物品太陳舊，而且房間牆上很多粘鈎。房間比較像租給過日子人後收回來一樣。第四一樓的房間注意蚊蟲問題，給了插片的電蚊香但是講真心沒啥用。第五酒店衞生間很簡陋的裝修。優勢是在展會時間房間價格還好，不是很貴。服務也還行。

Landed in Shanghai hongqiao and stayed 2 nights, kind of in the middle of factories and demolition site ,
Staff were nice enough , room was good enough , local food good at a reasonable price , breakfast poor with an egg and salad as western choices , usual scenario if your not in early everything is gone ,
Disappointed that again it takes a westerner to confront those smoking in a communal space while we eat and signs up saying no smoking that this a place to eat , with children also in the space , staff do nothing .

Overall stay is nice. The pool is warm and our kids did surely enjoy. I would suggest that the pool reception also give the towel and slippers 😆.
The room service is fast to provide our needs when we asked to bathrobe and others 👍
But I was making coffee and I noticed there was a crack from the mug I was drinking 🫣.

SSusan Ng WilliamsOur family of 9 came and checked into 4 rooms @ Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden. The location was excellent, it was very convenient to many tourist attractions. Yu garden was within a 5 min walking distance. For those who need a break from Shanghai/Chinese food, conveniently across the street was a food mall with McDonald's, Dominos, Tim's, Dairy Queen, Noodle Shops, Dumpling Shop, and many more other food options. Located inside mall was also Luo Ma grocery/convenience store. Industrial Bank was next door with 2 atms and branch opening 9-5. Hotel seemed freshly renovated, clean and modern. Hotel offered choice of pillows from buckwheat to lavender. There was free coffee, tea bags, water, cola, sparkling water in the fridge. Breakfast buffet was good, it wasn't included in our room rate but somehow we weren't charged additional us$10.78 for breakfast. The staff at the reception desk were efficient, check in was quick and easy. They helped me with calling 3 taxis as I was not familiar with didi car hailing app yet. Great lobby area. Excellent hotel, great location and super helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends coming to Shanghai.

Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus.
The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself.
On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them.
Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this.
At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen.
Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel
Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure.
I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T
I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm.
To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :)
Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol.
Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good.
Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

Unable to travel over the festive season, I decided to treat myself to a few days in a local hotel. What other choice was there, other than the Bvlgari?
Prior to my arrival I received a call from the hotel. They confirmed my arrival time, made dinner reservations for me, added me to WeChat and offered me any other help that I required.
Upon arrival I was greeted by Eva. She checked me in and immediately offered me a late check out time of 14:00. This was extended further on the final day to 16:00. Fantastic! More time to relax by the pool and in the sauna.
Having checked me in, Eva gave me a tour of the property. The Bvlgari is stunning!From the stylish restoration of the Chamber of Commerce building to the sleek, modern interior of the main building.
The Bvlgari is located in an excellent position by Suzhou Creek. It offers dazzling views of Lujiazui , the Huangpu River and the rear of The Bund. Perhaps one of the best views in the city.
Of course, the room was magnificent. Huge TV, super comfortable bed, walk-in wardrobe and a wide selection of drinks and snacks, most of which were complimentary. I especially thought the pillow mist was a nice touch.
In addition to the welcome snacks, Eva brought me a desert from their little cabin outside. A delicious Italian, vanilla donut- like desert. Good job I didn’t have lunch that day.
I dined at both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Both of which offer amazing food.
The Italian presents simplistic fare with the emphasis on fresh ingredients. The vegetable broth and specialty bread is to die for.
The Chinese restaurant offers high quality Cantonese food and an alternative wine selection to that in the main building.
The sommelier suggested a great wine pairing for the meal and also provided a complimentary glass of champagne and a coffee liqueur before escorting back to the hotel.
Le Mer products are used in the spa! Yes, this is fantastic. My therapist, Daisy, had me in the state of being between consciousness and unconsciousness many times during the course of my treatment. Just what I was looking for.
The staff at the Bvlgari are excellent. Young, professional and obviously well trained, evident through their subject knowledge and warm hearted service.
All the staff consistently addressed me by name and ensured that my stay was perfect.
Whilst at the bar, one of the girls presumed I was asking for the bill, when actually I was asking for another drink. I left to visit the WC and returned to find a note apologizing for her misunderstanding of English accompanying a complimentary desert with my drink. That was amazing! Thank you, Elsker.
It’s often the small things that make a difference. Whilst walking to my room one of the room attendants was vacuuming the carpet. She abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass. Whilst at the pool, I headed towards the jacuzzi. Some of the staff appeared to be fixing or checking something, but they swiftly disappeared as I emerged.
Upon checkout, Eva was waiting for me with a gift bag containing chocolates. This was in addition to the luggage tags and toiletries that were gifted by the turn down service the previous night. Eva called me a car to take me home. Whilst I waited she filled my gift bag with sweets from the huge jars of confectionery in the lobby. As the doorman approached to let me know my car had arrived, he also presented a small gift of Bvlgari toiletry products.
What an amazing experience.! Truly remarkable.
I will definitely return and I’ll be adding locations in Paris, London, Bali and Milan to my list of places to visit.

LLea PajarilloWe are a family of four with 2 kids. For us adults, it's been a while since we had a spa experience and The Senz reminded us how relaxing it is. Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool, it was big and clean. The food choices are all yummy. All the staff, especially the Filipino staff are all accommodating and very gracious. Overall, it's a staycation worth visiting again very soon.

RRonakLocation is pretty remote-difficult to get around the area without a car as no bikes available in this region of the island. The resort itself was fantastic but only one gate was available to leave which made it awkward, food is very expensive in the restaurant and activities were limited at this time of the year. On the plus side, breakfast was excellent, the walkways within the resort were awesome and hotel shuttle service to get around the resort is great too. Great resort for families and especially if you have a car! I would stay again, but probably get a driving license first 😂.

Oleh itu, secara kebetulan, ketika saya berada di Shanghai kali ini, saya menempah Hotel Radisson Blu (nama Cina) sebagai stesen terminal perjalanan saya ke Shanghai Walaupun tidak menepati pengalaman yang diharapkan, perkhidmatan keseluruhan hotel tetap dibawa saya senang hati, terima kasih banyak-banyak 🙏!

TTrippin’Great experience from check in to check out.. Breakfast buffet available. Great fitness, spa, and swimming pool area that all opens at 8a (late for a fitness area since we like early morning workouts). The from desk staff very organized and accommodating. Room service and other dining options throughout the day available. Perfect location to walk to the Jing’An area and even Kerry Centre. Easy pick up cabins for meituan. Will stay again if I make another appointment.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaHotel stay was really nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was well worth the price. The only downside is that our room smelled a little bit like someone had smoked in it but it wasn’t a big deal. The location also isn’t super central, but we hadn’t explored the northern part of Shanghai before so it was cool to see. There is a really good noodle place like a 15 min walk from the hotel. There is also an underground market at one of the stations for line 10 close by. Underrated area in my opinion!

Amat selesa. 5 minit berjalan kaki dari Kereta Api Utama Shanghai yang memudahkan kami melakukan perjalanan ke Hangzhou dan Wuxi.
Kemudahan:
Lawson dan Family Mart hampir memudahkan untuk mendapatkan keperluan asas. Berada berhampiran dengan kereta api juga memberi kami akses mudah kepada pelbagai pilihan makanan walaupun sudah lewat. (sangat mengesyorkan Yang's Dumplings)
Perkhidmatan:
Sangat berpuas hati dengan perkhidmatan yang kami terima daripada kakitangan Jius Hotel! Kami mendarat pada waktu pagi (lebih awal daripada yang dirancang sebelum ini), oleh itu kami membuat tempahan kedua supaya kami dapat berehat apabila tiba di hotel. Kami dengan hormatnya meminta jika kakitangan boleh mengaturkannya supaya kami boleh mempunyai satu bilik untuk keseluruhan penginapan kami. Kakitangan bukan sahaja memudahkan permintaan kami, tetapi juga memberi kami peningkatan percuma kepada 1-Bilik untuk merealisasikannya.
Bilik:
Sangat menyukai penginapan kami di Jius Hotel. Biliknya besar dan mempunyai pemandangan indah Sungai Suzhou. Ciri menyeronokkan yang amat kami nikmati ialah cara bilik dikonfigurasikan pintar, jadi anda boleh menutup bidai atau mematikan lampu sepenuhnya melalui kawalan suara. Dan selepas seharian menerokai Shanghai, kami sentiasa berharap untuk berendam di jakuzi kami sendiri. Apa yang menarik perhatian kami ialah betapa selesanya bantal. Ini adalah kali pertama saya mengalami bantal yang begitu selesa sepanjang penginapan di hotel, sehingga kami cuba bertanya kepada kakitangan dari mana hotel mendapat bantal tersebut.
Secara keseluruhan, penginapan kami di Jius Hotel adalah pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan indah. Dan untuk kadar hotel yang diberikan di Trip.com, ia pastinya mencuri perhatian kami. Sangat mengesyorkan kepada sesiapa yang merancang perjalanan ke Shanghai!
