Wangxiangu Cliff Homestay

Captivated by its fairytale charm, I stayed two nights instead of just one per recommendation by my travel research. I don’t speak but a few words of Mandarin but the concierge assisted me thoroughly with anything I needed smoothly. Breakfast buffet was amazingly large. Delicious with lots of options! I’m not even a breakfast person but looked forward to the breakfast morning 2. Bed was comfortable. This is my first time in China so I was worried about getting a ride an hour from the train station which the hotel set me up to lessen my worries. It was a dream. The experience was 10/10.

I spent a long time thinking about where to spend New Year’s Eve in China, and booking a room at this hotel turned out to be a real stroke of luck for me. I was able to contact the hotel staff without any issues to clarify the hotel and park operating hours during the holidays. Xiao Kuang, the hotel manager, explained everything to me in great detail and provided all the information in English, which I truly appreciated. I was a bit worried about the food, but I was genuinely surprised by how much variety there was. The selection was impressive, and I was especially happy to find my favorite dish — 肉夹馍! The room itself was excellent, and the check-in process was very fast, even during the holiday period. I would also like to highlight the breakfast separately — there was a huge variety of food, and everything was very satisfying. As for the park area, it really deserves a separate description of its own. Staying at this hotel and visiting the park will definitely remain a very memorable experience for me. I honestly can't explain in the best words how amazing my experience here was. It is more than 1000% worth booking a stay at this Homestay especially because you have unlimited access, great nearby facilities, exceptional hosts and even before you arrive you are assigned a steward. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, safe, supported and have fun. Even if you ste new to China like me, this place is a absolute Must. You get a guide on where to visit and the best routes, the breakfast range is brilliant. You won't lack a thing. Check out museum, performances as well as the sights during the day and the night, both are beautiful. I had the most amazing sleep, the beds are 100/100. A huge thank you to Steward Miaomiao for an amazing support system, you were so helpful and genuine and I really enjoyed my stay. And also a big thanks to Josh for helping me arrange travel back to the airport.

Room was wonderful, very warm, clean, and the view was good too. May be a little bit hard to bring a big luggage up because of all the stairs so i suggest packing lighter or just bringing a small bag and locking your luggage somewhere else. Service was really great, we got Xiao Wen as our guide and she was very helpful and friendly :).

Wonderful stay at Wangxian Cliff Homestay. Superb location and large space perfectly accommodating us. Hotel provides transport around the village and many staffs to help with luggage and making sure we are sheltered. Really great stay.

Spend 2 nights at Wangxiangu but it is a sad story as the iconic cliff side is closed due for renovation. But still it is a relaxing trip. Room is clean well managed. Breakfast is awesome with both western and Chinese dishes options. Staff are all so well train.
