This homestay is the best! Very recommended 👌🏻 the host is very accommodating. The location is just perfect. It’s near to everything. There’s bed warmer and floor heater and the toilet comes with automatic bidet. There’s washing machine and even extra jackets that can be borrowed from the hotel as we undermine the cold in Shangrila the puffer jacket we borrowed really help us a lot with the cold. There’s pickup and dropoff service for free to and fro the Railway Station. The room that we book is really nice and the view is also nice. Please stay here if you come to Shangrila. You won’t regret it.

The hotel is situated close to the North Gate of Dukezong ancient town. There is a service which gets your baggage to and fro the hotel. It’s an amazing hotel with a superb interior and incredibly hospitable staff. The lady at the reception was so nice that she helped us walk through the slippery staircases when we checked out. I loved everything about the hotel - also the great view of the city and modern sanitation facilities. It was great value for money too. Would definitely recommend!

The managers were very friendly. They greeted us with puer tea and a delicious bread. (The bread was so nice that I wanted to know its name) A staff led us to our room and explained about the facilities. After we came back from a walk, there were welcome soup and fruits in the room. The room is very clean, large and nice. We used the humidifier in the room as winter in Shangri-la is really dry. We used the oxygen supplier but it turned off for some reason during the night time and we couldn’t find out how to turn it on. It’s only a 15 minute walk from the Dukezong old town.
