Ulasan Chunhuiyuan Hotel (Shantou Highspeed Railway Station)

Our first time visiting Shantou. This hotel is close to the train station. Basically you can see the train station from the hotel room window. However walking there especially dragging along with the suitcases is a bit of a challenge. We hired a taxi and the fee was 30 Yuen. We were quite surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel room and the hotel itself. We asked for a non smoking room but there was an ash tray in the room but no cigarette smoke smell. The front desk said there is an ash tray in every room. I guess it's a general practice here. I have to mention that the staffs here were super friendly and with lots of patience. We got advices to where to eat, sight seeing, buying train tickets etc. It's like having a guardian behind you, ready to help. The room fee was relatively inexpensive in terms of the big room size, nice modern washroom facility with plenty of clean towels, nice big clean bed. We extended the stay, relaxed in the room and tried the local foods around the hotel area (plenty restaurants in walking distance). Big shopping malls are within walking distance. So far we are very happy with the hotel especially with the front dest staffs and the room service staff. Definitely we will choose this hotel again in the future. Thank you and keep it up.

The service is nice. Having problem with electricity due to electricity shortage, they solve it in just a few minutes. Also having problem sorting out how to turn on the air conditioner, they just send someone in just a few minutes to solve it. The food is not bad. The cook very nice to me. The front desk also very very helpful. Overall the service is excellent.

It's a typical Chinese hotel... Decorations and finish... Like wise rooms are same finishing... Very Chinese.. breakfast is all Chinese.. Buns porridge and fried noodle.. No coffee... Only weak diluted warm milk... Biz.. there is a nice Teochew Seafood restaurant by the corner... Part of the building.. really, delicious food... A little on the up market... Fresh seafood but worth it..

Hotel is at nearby location to Shantou Railway Station, and due to Trip.com price is so convenient and low. Hotel staff is also supporting, specifically reception staff. They help me to many important tasks. Room is much better than what I thought compared to what I paid.

A decent hotel located about 600m - 700m south of Shantou main railway station. When we arrived we noticed that the hotel was going through some refurbishment. Checking in was smooth and the rooms were clean and adequate. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. Beds were comfy, aircond tip-top and shower strong flow. Will definitely return to this hotel when in Shantou.

The room is very clean and big, location is very close to shantou train station, friendly staffs and there are plenty parking space if you are driving, overall I am very happy to stay in this hotel

The hotel deceives consumers by claiming that the lobby was renovated 23 years ago! In fact, the hotel's equipment is old and seriously damaged, the carpet is moldy and smelly, and the worst toilet has blocked drainage, dirt is everywhere, and the wash basin is dirty and yellow everywhere! The so-called tea bar has not been cleaned for many years, and the mats are stuck to the table! The hangers are worn out, and the windows are the old white-framed windows without even a screen! The door lock of the room is also not working, and it is not easy to open and close the door! In short, anyone who stays in this hotel knows that the surrounding transportation is not convenient
