Conveniently located. Nice staff. Friendly. Occasionally forgot to replace fresh towels and clear litter bin. Fast in response however. Flexible. Good breakfast.

Very disappointed with the accomadation. We were greeted with piles of laundry which used to be the check in area. We wasn't told that breakfast was cancelled. The room was dirty, dusty with splashes of dirt up the doors and walls. The floor was dirty with debris and the quilt cover was dirty. Under the sink we found a rubbish bin full of previous guests rubbish. This was originally a hotel when booked. The reviews do not reflect the accomadation at all.

It’s a fantastic location and very central. lovely and clean spacious apartment with a kitchen and living area and they couldn’t do enough to help you. Special Requests met and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

I booked two rooms for the night before and the night of my wedding. I’d like to start with how lovely the hotel itself is. The rooms are a good size and are generally clean- when something wasn’t clean, it was cleaned when requested. The most disappointing aspect of the hotel is the staff. On arrival, we were rudely greeted by a man and told ‘I can’t carry your bag I’ve hurt my shoulder’ to my very pregnant bridesmaid. The stairs are incredibly steep otherwise we wouldn’t usually ask. We went down to the bar for a drink and again were spoken very rudely to by the same man. He told us that he was ‘sick to death’ of being asked about the arrival drinks as they’havent offered that in months’ we had received an email explaining you are welcome to a free arrival drink. We then asked the same guy about food as we had booked a reservation for 6pm. Again, from sat on his laptop, he responded with ‘well it would have been nice to have been told as I’m on my own… I’ll have to sort something’ At this point we got up and left and ate somewhere else. My hairdresser arrived in the morning and commented on how she was rudely greeted by staff. (I had informed the hotel about my hairdresser coming- the person who I spoke to via Facebook was super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us- whoever they were) I wouldn’t recommend the hotel due to the staff which is a shame because the hotel is lovely but unfortunately it ruined my experience of what should have been an exciting night for myself and my bridal party.

Stayed in this fantastic little hotel for the weekend with my husband while visiting Sheffield for a wedding and I was amazed how fantastic it was the rooms where clean and modern and had everything we needed, The bar area is so relaxing and looks amazing with a wide range of drinks and our breakfast in the morning was also amazing all made with local produce even the coffee is from a local company. Now on to the staff every single one of the staff I came in to contact with where spot on all had Local accents that was nice to hear in a hotel. We will be back and I just wish that there where more places like this around the UK THANKS THREE CRANES

Amazing place. Great rooms and decor but main thing was the local knowledge and helpfulness of staff. They knew all about local music scene and could direct me and my son to some great places. The bar is also a fantastic place to sit and talk to other visitors. Will visit again when next in Sheffield

From checking in to checking out everything was amazing I can’t fault anything about this small hotel bang in the middle of the city centre, it was clean and modern, But what I found the best is the personal touch from the staff I think it was Dave that checked me in (the guy is a natural comedian) he made me feel really welcome to tel the truth I could have chatted to him for hours. Then the breakfast WOW the best I have ever had in a hotel. THANKS to everyone involved in this amazing little place and I will be back.

The staff are very helpful and the rooms are very nice. The location was within walking distance from the center and there was no inconvenience. There were also delicious restaurants nearby. I would like to stay again someday.

Very nice and well-equipped rooms, very helpful staff, and a good breakfast menu. The only downside was a few specific oddities about my room in particular(Room 8); -a large indention in the wall next to the bed, looking like someone might have punched it. -the mechanism for opening the window by the bed was broken. If I'm ever in Sheffield again, I will absolutely be getting a room here again.
