The servise is excellent when we checked in at 2am after a late flight from Bangkok. I would like to especially mention Zhang Rong Cheng who checked us in. The upgraded room was very clean and the housekeeping staff helped us dispose of cardboard boxes of our purchases from Chinese Amazon equivalents. EXcellent service too.

Location is good, room is clean and in good condition, the people is very nice

An older hotel with spacious rooms. Although older, the rooms are in good condition. The shower is spacious with excellent water pressure and the bed is very comfortable. The front desk staff make every effort to make your stay comfortable. The location is great, in the heart of Lowu. This does bring some noise from the street though, but it is easily managed with some earplugs. The one problem though is with smokers. When I checked in, the room smelled of smoke. When I raised the issue with the front desk, they promptly offered another room. However, it had the same issue. So, I kept the original room. They then put an air purifier in the room and offered a fruit plate to apologize, both of which were very much appreciated. The air purifier helped a great deal. However, in the morning, I could smell smoke again when I woke up, though it was not the room. I wonder if it was from the pillows or mattress. I also noticed there was a room doen the hall with three men who left the door open and smoked continuously. Lastly, there were cigarettes in the water by the elevator, which shows some guests do not respect the no smoking policies. Perhaps the hotel should consider making smoking floors and non-smoking floors which would address this issue. It is common in other hotels. One other note is that when I walked in the room the first time, I was greeted by a small cockroach. This was the only one I saw during my stay. However, it was mentioned in another review so perhaps the hotel needs to consider closing for a few days to properly deal with this matter. Lastly, although there was abundant hot water, the water for the bathtub was only warm, not hot. There is nothing like a very hot bath at the end of the day to relax. Overall, a good stay and I would book this hotel again. Hopefully they can address a few shortcomings.

Hotel was great. Nice location and nice service. The only downside was that they did not do breakfast during the Chinese New Year. (We weren’t aware of that when we booked.) Location was perfect. It was a 5 minute bike ride to the main train station hub that takes you to Hong Kong.

Again, my favorite hotel in Luohu Shenzhen. Conveniently located to food joints. Accessibility is great.

Very good services and assistance provided by front desk staffs and manager Ms Xiao Jun. Room cleaners are all very well manners and hardworking, all the daily replenished items has been timely supplied. Give them 5 stars compliments, and highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Good service and location

The staff at the Hong Feng hotel were very kind and helpful! We were entertained by the robot that made deliveries to the room. The lobby is nice and there are many shops and restaurants near the hotel. The WiFi signal was strong and we were able to stream video without any problems. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having both a bathtub and a shower. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend this hotel to other travelers!
