great camp kitchen , and clean communal amenities , pods are a bit small but adaquate

$155 King Cabin for a cockroach to crawl across my face in the middle of the night and NO WIFI - tried to connect to purchase and was still unsuccessful. Told the staff about the roach and was told “it is the rainforest” - I understand it’s the rainforest but I’m not camping. I’m paying for a cabin. I expect it to be clean. Big money grab. I’d recommend you stay anywhere else.

Absolutely amazing! The campgrounds are just the perfect size overall, leaving everyone with some privacy and space. Bathrooms, toilets and camp kitchen amazingly clean and the pool area a perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. Perfect location with no need to drive to the shop or pub and Cafe on site for early morning coffee. We absolutely loved our stay!

I loved the cottages, so comfortable serene in the rainforest. I could not get enough of the sounds of the rainforest the birds the bugs the rain. Having a kitchen was so handy for a solo as well as a for a couple. I was traveling alone and appreciated eating in by myself and arranging my own meals, especially dinner. The only thing i can success to improve the experience, is the bed having coasters to stop it from rolling so easily. I look forward to staying here again.

I booked a King Cabin with ensuite. The room was immaculate, lovely and cool! The setting is absolutely stunning, set in the Daintree Rainforest. It was so beautiful waking up to only bird sounds each morning. It is a quiet and tranquil place, lovely pool and every single staff member I spoke to were an absolute delight. This is the place to stay whilst in Cape Tribulation. I also did the Turtle Tripper Tour with Ocean Safari and this blew my socks off! Brook and Raz delivered such a fun packed day out on Mackay Reef and Sand Cay.

We had a nice stay at Safari lodge. We only stayed one night as the Reef excursions were unfortunately fully booked on our dates. It was very nice to see the beautiful blue butterflies flying around from our balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped, definitely more then we expected only based on the pictures. The shared bathrooms were kept clean. We would recommend.

We had an incredible stay at Safari Lodge. Stunning, modern and clean cabins equipped for everything you need during your stay. The site had great facilities available - kitchen / BBQ area and a lovely pool for cooling off. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Do not stay at Safari lodge without booking onto Ocean Safari for some of the BEST snorkelling you will do in Far North Queensland. Thanks for a beautiful break at your rainforest retreat and we will be back from Cairns soon

Safari lodge is a great place to stay in Cape Tribulation. It’s in a great location with easy access to the Dubuji boardwalk taking you on a tour through the rainforest, as well as to an easy path leading you to the beach. There is a pub and a little shop across the road. Whether you opt for a cabin or a campsite the area is well shaded with the feeling of really being surrounded by nature. The amenities are well taken care of and there is a beautiful open camp kitchen overlooking the pool area. The staff at reception are super helpful and will help you to organize your time in Cape Tribulation. I would highly recommend a half day snorkel tour to the outer reef with Ocean Safari while you are here as well. It was a 10/10

We recently stayed for two days and rented two cabins – one ensuite with a spacious bathroom and a standard one that was just a bed. The place was super clean, and the staff were absolutely amazing. Special thanks to Emma, who went out of her way to make our stay even better. The cafe served some great food too. Perfect spot for a short stay! Highly recommend.

The area allocated was barely big enough to fit my car let alone a tent and was on a 15 degree slop with no flat area at all. Not sure how anyone was ever expected to sleep there as it would have been impossible Will never stay there again
