I came to Shilin again and stayed at Sequoia Lake Hotel. Everything was still so familiar! The hotel has a good location, convenient travel and good surrounding environment. The facilities are a little bit outdated, but for this price, it is still a very good choice in Shilin!

The hotel was newly renovated not long ago, it is simple and fresh, which meets my aesthetic taste. The room also provides an electric recliner and an infrared sterilizer, which is very considerate. The rice noodles for breakfast are very delicious. The front desk service girl is beautiful, kind and smiling. The key point is that the price is very cheap. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in during this trip.

The apartment hotel is in the community. It is really a surprise. The room is very large. It feels like home as soon as you enter the door. There are refrigerators, air conditioners, sofas, cabinets, and facilities. There is a snack street night market next to it. The community environment is also very good. I really recommend it.

The boss is really good, and he helped me change to a quiet room with good lighting. Thank you very much. And really, the same price accommodation, no joke, this is a particularly good I have lived, the health is very good, there is no dirt, and there is really cleaning, it is really real to wash, washbasin, bathroom, all kinds of very clean. The environment of the hotel is very elegant, the lobby is spacious and bright, the decoration style is modern and full of high-end. GGuest UserGreat location just a short bus ride to the Shilin AAAAA Park. The bus stop is very close to Mijia Inn. On the same street are several places to eat, and around the corner is a shop to purchase snacks, drinks, etc. The room is spacious and very clean, with good air-con... it was very hot when we visited! Downstairs is a cafe with very good coffee and nice ambience. The owner is friendly, and altough she does not speak English, she is patient with my (very poor) Chinese, and she helped us to find the grocery shop, etc. In the room, there are slippers, shampoo, etc, and the hot water pressure is excellent. A very relaxing, quiet, and clean place to stay if you are visiting the rock forest or the nearby caves. It is a good value for the price.

GGuest UserIch habe zwei Nächte dort verbracht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte alle üblichen Annehmlichkeiten (Wasserkocher, Föhn). Das Bett war ziemlich hart.
Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt am Stone Forest, aber man kann zum Ticket Office in ca. 20 min laufen oder per Taxi fahren.
Direkt nebenan befindet sich ein großer Supermarkt und in nächster Nähe auch einige Restaurants.
Schräg gegenüber kann man Busfahrkarten nach Kunming kaufen bzw. fährt dort auch der Bus ab.

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

TTangbohuzaishiThe B&B is 2km away from the scenic spot and far away from the city. However, the B&B is built in an antique style and is very ethnic. The proprietress has collected a lot of old things, which highlights the interest. In fact, its catering should be the main focus. It is recommended that everyone must have a dinner there. , super delicious! The breakfast is rice noodles, which are also very good! The B&B was developed with supporting facilities. The interior decoration of the B&B is very characteristic of the Yi people and the rooms are very spacious. However, there was a buzzing sound in the room on the second floor where we stayed. I don’t know what it was. The air conditioning in the hotel room is not very powerful, and it is quite cold on cold days.

There are places to eat about 4 kilometers away, and there is a place to charge for about 3 kilometers when traveling by car, which costs 0.68 yuan at night.

AAnonymous UserThe boss is enthusiastic and generous. Several niche attractions were recommended by the boss. We avoided the pitfalls perfectly. The horse meat downstairs is really delicious and not expensive. I will recommend it to friends in the future. The room is clean and hygienic. The only problem is The good thing is that there are no windows, the sink has no floor drain, and the air conditioner in the room does not have a water outlet and is connected by a bucket. I heard the sound of dripping water all night, but it is good to book such a clean room at this price.

GGuest UserLocation was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.
