The resort, the restaurants, the cloud were all great. But the access by JR train was so bad because there's no elevator. Because of my nationality i cannot drive and rent a car in Japan so i had to take the train to go to this resort. To go to the other platform, we had to take the stairs while carrying our heavy luggage. Unlucky me i just had a spine surgery and i actually should not carry heavy weight luggage but i have no options and i am with my mother who is over 60 she also had to carry heavy weight luggage through the stairs. Maybe its our bad due to the misinformation on our side that the station is like this, but just a little note for travelers who cannot rent a car to go to this resort. Either JR or Hoshino Resort maybe could invest a little for elevator or maybe assign some porter who could help just in case there are some customers with health problems like me or older people.

평생 잊지 못할 추억을 만들고 왔습니다. 객실과 리조트, 식당 모든 곳의 디자인과 조명이 인스타그램/sns 사진 촬영에 최적화 되어 있어서 대충 막 찍어도 인생 사진이 나옵니다. 평소 뷔페를 선호하지 않는데, 이 곳은 정말 다릅니다. 모든 뷔페 식당을 꼭 방문하시길 추천합니다. 조식 1100엔, 석식 4000엔 정도의 가격으로는 절대로 나올 수 없는 파인 다이닝 급의 일품요리들을 뷔페에서 먹을 수 있습니다. 이탈리안/데판야끼/일식당/일부 뷔페 등은 방문 전에 예약이 끝나는 곳도 있으니 미리 예약하는 것을 추천합니다. 곳곳에 한국어를 하는 직원들이 있어서 매우 편리했습니다만, 기본적인 일본어/영어가 가능해야 편하게 이용할 수 있는 리조트입니다. 참고로 리조트내 안내문에 한국어가 없습니다. 일본어/영어로 상냥하고 자세한 설명을 들을때도 좋았지만, 같은 내용을 모국어로 듣게 되니 배려심이 더욱 진하게 느껴졌고 감동이 더해졌습니다. 도와주신 모든 한국 직원분들께 감사드립니다. 이제 일본을 방문할 때는 호시노 리조트가 있는 지역인지 부터 확인하려고 합니다. 매년 6월과 라벤다 시즌, 스키 시즌마다 방문하고 싶은 리조트입니다.

Cooking Classes: Chef Amir, your Hokkaido buckwheat crepe class was not only enlightening but also immensely enjoyable. Chef Yoshi, your Cartoon Character sushi class was equally captivating. Hike to Tomamu Mountain Peak from Unkai Terrace: An absolute bucket-list experience! Ascending to the peak and being welcomed by a mesmerizing sea of clouds felt otherworldly. The expansive view below stands as a testament to nature's unmatched beauty. I'd recommend this to any visitor. Outdoor Onsen at Mina Mina Beach: This was the quintessential way to conclude an eventful day. It captures the true essence of Japanese relaxation. Immersing oneself in the warm onsen waters, with nature all around and the occasional sight of deer grazing nearby, was therapeutic in every sense.
