Really gutted as I have had an amazing experience with Premier inn in the past. Room 126, constant buzzing all evening above the door. I wear ear plugs so managed it, but frustrating. Sadly went home and the following day started itching to find 40+ bites all over my body. Devastated as I've had to treat my car and clothing to ensure nothing has transferred.

Not the premier inn experience we normally get, the hotel in Shrewsbury is really close to the train station, so was the obvious choice for us. We booked in at 15.00,on Monday the 10th, we went up to our room on the 4th floor, straight away we could feel a vibration going through the entire room, we subsequently found out that we were next to a demolition site, and this vibration from next door starts at 08.00 [ no need to set the alarm} and finishes just after 15.00. The following morning after being woken by the vibration, we went down for breakfast, as we entered the restaurant, two couples on the way out spoke to us and said, we hope that you haven't booked the unlimited cooked breakfast, to which we replied, "yes we have", why??, to which they replied there's not much food left, and there's no more coming out !! When we went into the self service area, what we had been told was right, a very sparce selection of food was in front of us, this included the pastries and the cooked breakfast, with several of the containers empty and the rest had very little in them. We felt really sorry for the people coming in after us. Really disappointed with the "LIMITED" breakfast, not value for money. We normally enjoy the breakfasts we have had in other Premier Inns, this was the exception. Sorry that I didn't take photos.
