Hotel dengan Khidmat Ambil/Hantar di Chumphon

Easy to book. I made a request through Agoda, and the hotel contacted me to confirm my request. They gave us connecting rooms. Price was great. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We like firm beds though. Would stay here again.

No doubt, that unconventional things add more bright colors to our life, the same as visiting of uncommon places. With all that said, I can call De Sea Almond Hotel in Chumphon as one of the most unusual hotels we have ever settled in. It’s not just a hotel with a number of rooms, which, more or less, looks the same, no, each room in this hotel is one-of-a-kind one. We were lucky enough to spend one night in the room number three on the first floor, a two-story fort-like room with a big bathtub and spacious balcony with a sea-view, and it we did really enjoy the opportunity to warm ourselves in a hot bath with bubble bath (kindly provided by the hotel) first, and then cool ourselves with one famous cold drink, sitting on the balcony. Just one little advice: start taking hot water into the bath in advance as the flow of the water was water pressure was quite weak. For example, it took us about one hour to fill the bath. Yes, the hotel isn’t brand-new one, at all, and it definitely needs renovation here and there. However, we would be happy to visit De Sea Almond, once again, mostly, because of the vibe of this place.

We arrived around 10am requesting an early check-in, and the receptionist graciously found us a room. We opted for the deluxe king which turned out to be a corner room, giving us an extra window, which was nice. The downside was that the TV, normally placed where the window was, is now displaced into the corner of the room and smaller than the others. Only Thai speaking channels. The square balcony is nice, with a solid timber table and chair. The room is quite bright, but the bathroom is dark, even with the light on. The king bed is in one piece and comfortable but only one pillow each. The lift is small and very slow (we were on the 5th floor). Breakfast is on the top floor and is pretty ordinary, cutlery is the cheapest I’ve seen anywhere, which I always think, is often an indicator of the quality of the food. The location is good, in the centre of town but set back from the busy street. There is a 7/11 across the road and a Big C a few doors down. The main shopping mall of the town is 5 minutes walk and has a cinema complex, Starbucks and MC restaurant. This mid-range hotel is perfectly adequate for one nights stay but it’s definitely not stand out. I’m giving it four stars.

I feel as the most part of hotel we stayed during our trip in Thailand needs renovation. Probably they are suffering from the last 2 years of lockdown . At first the hotel looks very nice and quiet. The open air lobby and restaurant looks wonderful. the downside is that the rooms feels a little bit dated, also the bathroom is large but quite dated. The bed are comfortable. Decent cleaning Breakfast was nice with many choices in the buffet.

Pros Big and new room Good bed and pillow Good shower Location is somewhat near downtown but you will need a car to go around Cons Room isnt sound proof , you hear everything except speaking that neighbor rooms do walk,shower,move the chair,close the doors etc at left , right , upper room Room has some leaks,its rainy season and 20 to 30 moths flew into my room after midnight as i left light on in bathroom.I called frontdesk to deal with it but there was no action from them but said i should turn off the light.I had to try find all leaks in the room and sealed it and clean it as it died in bathroom I repeat 20 to 30 moths was fying around in the room I slept late because i had to deal with those flying moth and i woke up too early after only 4 hours because sounds i heard from all neighbours room If you afraid of bugs and a light sleeper do not come here

schönes Resort mit schön eingerichteten Bungalows. Wir hatten den Bungalow mit Poolblick. Die Ausstattung der Räume hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Die Hotelzimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und boten viel Platz. Unser Ausblick war jedoch auf ein Parkhaus und daher nicht schön und dunkel. Das Frühstück war leider nicht allzu besonders gut und auch der Frühstücksraum war nicht ganz so gemütlich gestaltet. An der Bar gab es die Möglichkeit zu Abend zu essen und Getränke zu bestellen, jedoch konnten die Mitarbeiter weder Englisch noch Erklärungen verstehen. Wir sind dann einfach wieder aufgestanden und gegangen. Das war sehr schade. Es reicht aber definitiv aus, wenn man nur zur Übernachtung etwas sucht!

Making our way down the coast, we decided to stay here for 3 nights after a train trip from Hua Hin. This hotel seemed the best located not far from the town, about 10 min walk actually although they offer complimentary bycles which we used a couple of times as well as hired a scooter for a day. 7eleven not far at all. Hotel setting was lovely actually creating a somewhat jungle feel. Pool was a good size and clean. Cafe on site was really quant with pretty good coffee. We are vegetarian and also do not eat onion and garlic and they were able to adjust some items on the menu for us and must say we're delicious. We ate here every night. The pricing is not expensive and reasonably priced as well as beers and drinks. Breakfast is provided here. Its fairly basic but enough variety of Western and Asian. How much can yiu eat anyway. We booked the cheapest standard room. It was Standard but pretty good and clean for the price inclusive of breakfast. Lets say, compared to some Motels back in Australia, it was way better and way cheaper. The only cons was these rooms did not have in room safe, the bed a little hard, only thai channels on tv and no coffee and tea provided, only kettle and cups. We didn't ask for any though as we had our own. Rooms above looked bigger as they have a balcony and they have Villas that looked really nice. The town is about 30 minute drive to the ferry pier. We are glad that we didn't book accommodation close to the pier as that area looked a bit distant from anything. The staff were really lovely and very helpful even booking our ferry tickets at no extra charge. I am pretty sure you are able to book other tours ect.. if you needed. In a nutshell, it was a pleasant, clean, convenient and cheap place fir a stopover or short stay.

This hotel is certainly different. We stayed in a second floor pool view room which had a double bed in it and a small bathroom with a good shower. The air conditioning was good but the room was snug and I would not like to try one without a window. The bed was of the harder type and the paintwork etc in the room/bathroom was showing signs of wear which you would expect with a container after so long. A fridge and water were provided but no kettle etc. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. There was a good coffee machine at breakfast where you could choose several options including hot chocolate and the staff made us fried egg and toast with offer of sausage which we declined. The retro box is conveniently situated but is quite noisy as any sound seems to echo round it especially at night. It is definitely worth a visit for a short stay and is cheap and cheerful. There are no lifts so you have to carry your bags upstairs which may not suit some people but the hotel is worth the price you pay. There was no safe in the room for valuables however.
