Side Star Beach Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

We had a good time at the Side Star Beach Hotel. We had a great time in may. Good food and very friendly staff. Also the animation is very good. They have a good variation of games thru the day Good hotel with a very fun animation team! I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice and friendly hotel at the seashore. No long walks to the beach and nice beachbar with lunch. This site isn t too big, so never long walks or lots of elevators to get anywhere. Lots of hotelsites in turkey are really huge and for me too big,.....this is not the case here....Several bars on beachfront, at the swimmingpool and inside,...so choice for each. Swimmingpool seems to be heated in april,....but not in november.....then it s really cold water and even the seawater will be warmer. Different range of rooms,.....which are not all the same....some rooms are better than others if you are 3 like we are. All rooms have minibar which is fillled up every day, lots of tv channels, but mainly german, which is fine for us. Beds are good, soaps, creme etc. It s an all inclusive which means that you get all drinks 24h a day for free,....so no risk of getting thirsty. Catering all day long starting with a huge breakfastbuffet, 2 lunchbuffets (inside and outside), afternoon pancakes and waffels etc and eveningbuffet. You ll always find something that will fit to you.....lots of dishes are oily but thats the turkish way of cooking.....but you ll always find dishes which are less oily, grilled meats and fish, fresh pizzas, etc.....lots of salads and basic fruit choice,....lots of desserts.....you ll realise that the kitchenteam does a lot in order to offer a wide range of dishes and possibilities and most of them are very tastefull. We come here for the 4th time and still enjoy the kitchen and especially some surprising dishes like their weekly lamb tandoory, or crispy grilled chicken, roastbeef turkish way or grilled tuna slices,....or their weekly divine creme brulee that i always seem to forget....😢. You can also enjoy their 3 restaurants on reservation,....ottoman and fishrestaurant are really great and very tastefull,....we much less appreciated the italian option that we tried twice, even if the location is very nice,....but we re not in italy....😂😂....and you can always pass in the mainrestaurant afterwards if you didn t like.....so a solution there is😂😂 This place doesn t offer huge aquaparks or lots of activities for younger public (darts, pingpong, pooltable, petanque, aquagym and trampolinegym, fitness and inside and outside pool are proposed) but offers a great location at walking distance from the old side town and easy acces to the bustransportation to town or anywhere else. Lots of shops immediatelly around the hotel, hairdressers, massageshop,....all you need.....or even inside the hotel same services are proposed.....up to you to go where you prefer. The employees here are very friendly, always looking to help and serve you and this starting from the reception, roomservice, waiters, kitchencrew, security,.....always with a smile and very efficient.....sometimes even too efficient....they ll fill up your glass even before you ll ask..... Animation was always there, she encouraged us to do activities and offered programs until late in the evening. The activities were very entertaining. Even though it was the first time we came to the hotel, they treated us as if we had been coming for a long time and it was a really fun holiday. We would like to thank Mr. Burak from animation for taking great care of us.

Burak from the animation team was approachable and genuine. Answered all our questions and always put a smile on our faces. The hotel is very beautiful, with a big chandelier in the middle and other all the hotel makes sure that there space is nice and clean

Good points…Very nice hotel , kept clean. Rooms cleaned daily. Mini bar restocked daily, Drinks good. Plenty choice in restaurant and nice themed nights. Great swimming pool. A few adult activities throughout the day. On a street of nice shops. Felt safe. Lovely private beach a few steps away . Bad points …. Staff don’t talk much English. Mostly german and Turkish. Hotel was mostly german holiday makers or Russian and the hotel cater for them well with mostly german speaking at shows, activities etc. lots of cats that sit around the pool, even on the sunbeds , i like cats but i dont want them sitting next to me while sunbathing. A couple of them i seen scratch people who tried to stroke them , night time was boring as there wasn’t much on. But we just went a walk out

Plus are the staff especially the amazing sefa downstairs bar amazing young man and all of them all staff so friendly Staff are fab i am here in January and not commenting on other guests as don't wish to be rude at this time . Weather not brilliant but warm

very impressively 5 + stars hotel in a beautiful sinity. Best service during ouer stay and attentive stuff. Around the clock you can eat and drink ty things. we`ll cme back this year on August Family Jahnsmüller from Berlin

Food excellent many varieties something for everyone. Animation team are very good plenty of activities to do in the afternoon ,good entertainment in the evening. Many germans who are very rude need more English as we were the only 2 English there Hotel you cannot fault very clean.

My mother I stayed at the Side Star Beach for two weeks from 30th November 2023. It was my 80th hotel stay in Antalya Province since 1999. I had never stayed at this hotel before but clearly I had an awful lot to compare it to. I was lured by the hotel’s great location, just 1km west of central Side - 10 mins walk along the beach prom - the great reviews (both on Tripadvisor and in German on Holidaycheck.de) and the promise of near 24 hours food and drink. I downloaded the Winter 23/24 concept sheet from the hotel’s own website and it seemed like a generous offering. The welcome was almost perfect - greeted with a smile, asked for our passports and voucher then asked to sit down while they checked us in. Our choice of drinks were brought from the bar. My red wine was completely off so I left it (this became a feature later on). The receptionist then came to sit with us, asked us to the complete the remainder of the forms then explained the hotel information sheet and other things not on the sheet. The bellboy put our wristbands on us and took us to our rooms on the 4th floor (out of 5) and next door-but-one to each other. The rooms are compact but adequate, ours were identical with two single beds, pushed together, one chair, a balcony just large enough to fit a small plastic table and two small chairs with side-sea views. Luckily the hotel directly opposite was closed otherwise we would have felt very over-looked. The minibar had the usual cola, fanta, water, and cherry juice plus two small beers all replaced daily, tea & coffee station and a mirror above the minibar. There was a small ‘dressing table’ and a 32” wall-mounted TV above. There was one bedside chest of drawers with a small round table on the other side holding the phone. Given the compact size of the room with very limited storage space, a bedside chest of drawers either side would have been useful. The wardrobe had two more drawers, shelves, hanging space for 10 hangers and a safe (included). We were solo-occupiers travelling with hand-luggage only. If you are two people sharing and travelling with normal luggage, you will be living out of your suitcases if you could find places to put them! The shower rooms were also compact with a small range of toiletries with the small bottles and other bits placed on a tray below the wash basin due to lack of space on the counter top. An unexpected boon were the 400ml ‘Olive’-branded, wall-mounted, pump dispensing bottles of a) liquid soap and body cream by the washbasin and b) shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. There was a standard hotel hairdryer and a pull-out shaving mirror. Neither of our hairdryers worked when we arrived. I had mine repaired but my mother didn’t bother with hers. Lighting and ventilation were adequate as was the individually-controlled room heating. My mother’s bathroom had a distinct sewer smell that never went away. She took to keeping the door closed and the light with the connected extractor f
