Hotel berhampiran Apsara Style One, Siem Reap

It was nice hotel and location is not in the center but close to Angkor Wat. Their service was brilliant and they let us check in early after sleepless night at the airport which was lovely. Staffs are nice, room is clean and big. Room service was excellent too. We extended our stay by 2 more nights as we enjoyed. Breakfast buffet was excellent and had many choices.

As a hotel enthusiast, I have to say Jaya House went above and beyond my expectations and truly represents what a true luxury hotel experience should be. What makes this place above and beyond is the people. From the owner to the managers to the staff, every single person at Jaya House brings their whole, authentic, warm-nature and kind-hearted self to deliver an experience that truly makes you feel welcomed, noticed, appreciated, relaxed and dare I say… ‘loved’. Everyday you are greeted with warm smiles and a ‘ready to help’ attitude. No request is too small or large. At some point, I felt as though I was staying at the Aman. That’s how good the service was and those who know me, know that I’m a tough critic. At the moment, the entire country of Cambodia is still recovering from Covid. Tourism is not back 100% yet so the spa is not open and dinner service is not available. Jaya House will let you know this in advance so you can manage your trip organization. Beyond the service, the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping team is so on top of their game, to the point that we had to stop them from replacing the towels after only being used one time. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The food is delicious and they make their own tea which is amazing. The location is a bit outside of the ‘center’ and when I say a bit outside, it’s only 1.5km at most… but hey, when you’re in a relaxing mode even a 5 minute tuk-tuk can feel far 😊. Overall - an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go back when the spa is opened.

We have been lucky enough to stay at some wonderful hotels across the world and this is up there with the very very best. The welcome sets out how they will treat you and that doesn’t change in the 4 days we were there: nothing is too much trouble, service is always with a smile and you are made to feel very welcome. We stayed in room 4 which was lovey with excellent amenities and well equipped. The hotel is all single storey, small and intimate. We were collected at the airport and whisked into town. The food is very good — we ate 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a la carte with a wide range of western and Cambodian dishes. Afternoon tea is light and tasty. Dinner menu is a mix of a la carte and set: we had the Cambodian set on 2 nights (it changes every day) and the a la carte on the last. It was very very good and they varied the portions sizes because we only wanted small. The wine list is competent and the drinks list extensive. Facilities are good - same day complimentary laundry service - room very well equipped. 2 pools one of which is 25m. Good gym. Local tours were well organised and we had a remorque tour one evening to see Siam Reap at night. No, it isn’t cheap. But we thought it worth every cent.

The hotel has beautiful premises inside and outside. It's very clean, and the staff is exceptional. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and especially the noodle soup station where they make everything to your liking; also a variety of delicious bread. It's a good location, about 16 -18 minutes walk to the Pub street or you can take a tuk tuk as there are plenty of them. We preferred walking. We had dinner one night and lunch in the hotel's restaurant and the food was tasty. On arrival we asked to change our room to the one overlooking the garden and pool as the view in the front of the building overlooking the road wasn't that great. We had of course to pay the difference but it was much nicer. It's a shame that the hotel wasn't very full during our stay. We enjoyed staying 4 nights there and definitely would recommend this hotel.

Le vert est plein de petits défauts pour un hôtel récent. Il est mal construit si vous êtes au 5eme étage vous avez la machinerie de la piscine ce qui fait que la chaleur est limite insoutenable dans la cage d'escaliers et des moustiques tigres a profusion. Le petit déjeuner est très moyen mais a 1$ je dirais que c'est correct et pas trop discutable. Il y a que quelques choix et un jus pas fou, du café trop cuit et une pauvre dosette de thé qui est dans son jus plusieurs heures. Dans la chambre énormément de défauts et de points négatifs sur l'hygiène et propreté. Il y a des malfaçons partout et déjà des tâches sur les murs étranges. La porte de la salle de bain cassée qui ne peut pas s'ouvrir complètement sans taper dans le meuble du lavabo. C'est très chiant pour mettre sa serviette sur le séchoir qui est derrière cette porte. Petit conseil il existe des portes coulissantes quand il n'y a pas d'espace. Le personnel est super aimable mais peut être trop par rapport a la qualité du ménage. Les serviettes de bain sont affreusement fine et pas de qualité. Les toilettes sont déjà pas haute et le papier toilette est a peine fixer a 20cm. la lunette n'est pas fixé se qui est impossible dans un hôtel 4*. La clim qui coule dans la douche a l'autre extrémité ce qui fait que sans claquettes tu touches une matière que tu as pas envie d'avoir même dans un 2*. Pour finir la piscine et la vie sont très bien, le personnel est vraiment trop gentil et essaiera de faire au mieux. C'est très correct pour le prix mais pas fou

Very helpful and accommodating staff, appreciate talking to Jackie on the front desk about Cambodian society - not just touristy stuff! Only thing i didnt like was the location (albeit I knew this when i booked, but assumed id be sending all my time in angkor wat). Probably better to be closer to town for restaurants etc but can't fault the hotel itself.

Really lovely and serene hotel. The staff were lovely and after a bit of a delay coming out of the airport it was a delight to be picked up by Srun who was super friendly. He took us to go and get SIM cards in town which saved us a lot of hassle. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful all the time and helped arrange a car to take us onto our next destination. The facilities and pool are great and the breakfast buffet had a huge range of tasty options. The room was very big and the bed was comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again!

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

We had the best time ever at The Embassy Angkor! The rooms are beautiful with the most comfy bed we had all vacation. The breakfast is delicious and the pool is so nice we could stay there for days. We were also very impressed with Rin, Lucky, Morning star and the rest of the staff who were always very kind and helpful. Overall highly recommended and we would love to come back

Additionally, it's only a 2-minute ride to the bustling Old Market and the vibrant Pub Street, providing convenient access to local markets, shops, and lively nightlife. Tuk-tuk drivers are on standby outside the hotel so there is no wait In summary, Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is a beacon of luxury, hospitality, and elegance in Siem Reap. I have yet to find a flaw!
