Ulasan Flower Garden Eco Village

This hotel is located in the forest within walking distance of Sigiriya. Since it’s in the forest, I expected there to be a lot of insects, but to my surprise, there were hardly any inside the room, and I was able to stay comfortably. I had booked for two nights, planning to climb Sigiriya Rock in the morning and then relax by the pool in the afternoon. However, it seems that the hotel has a policy of turning off the electricity in the rooms during the daytime. Although I asked a staff member to turn the main power back on and they did, it was soon turned off again. When the main power is off, the room becomes completely dark, and neither the Wi-Fi nor the air conditioner works. It was clear that even if I asked them to turn it back on again, the same thing would just keep happening. I felt it would only add to my stress, so I decided to move to another hotel.

The room is okay, the bath water is not good, the water pressure is too low, the rice tastes average, the eggs for breakfast are good

The hotel is located in a forest and consists of 6-7 beautiful two-story buildings, each with 4 rooms. The hotel has a large yard, a large lawn and a swimming pool that are very beautiful. The room facilities are average, nothing special. The service was very good, warm and attentive, and the welcome drink was delicious. Breakfast is not a buffet, the variety is relatively simple, only toast, eggs, fruit platter, juice and milk. The soundproofing of the room is not good. If two adjacent rooms are strangers, they may affect each other. There are many monkeys on the trees in the yard. The monkeys will play on the roof and make a lot of noise. Everyone has different opinions on whether this is an advantage or a disadvantage. All in all, it is a very good hotel. It is a good choice whether it is for a transition or a leisure vacation.

The environment is very ecological, but there are many mosquitoes. There are also monkeys visiting the terrace.

The entire garden is large and well-kept. It's very comfortable to live in it. The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. It is highly recommended. The service attitude is very good and the breakfast is rich.

We liked the hotel. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is very rich. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The pool looked very inviting although it rained both days, and we couldn't try it

良い点　 突然の自転車レンタルや、当日のサファリジープのお願いを嫌な顔一つせず笑顔で接してくれて助かりました👌 残念な点 暑い国で蚊や他の虫が多く、部屋の窓やドアを開けたりしていると睡眠等の妨げになり残念な事になります…。 石鹸、歯ブラシ、髭剃りやタオルがもっとあるとアメニティは助かります。 場所　 ホテルの往来、観光や旅から帰る時は、何かしらの乗り物を使った方がいいです。 スタッフの人に頼むと自転車と🛵バイクは貸してくれます。 最後に、素敵や笑顔や思いやりのおもてなしをありがとうございました🙂↕️ 飼われていたワンチャン2匹は人懐っこくて可愛かった〜😆

Luxuriant garden setting with pool and squirting elephant sculptures. (see pic). Room spacious and huge bed. Dining area was in a pleasant terrace setting. Staff attentive and the available food options were quite satisfactory. Accommodations in the area are typically quite spread out and Eco Village was also out of the main town area but this presented no problem. Recommend as good value and quality

Feels like you are in the middle of a pretty forest. Staff tries very hard to please. Rooms are fine and we all had hot showers. There is a pool and a restaurant. Dinner was off the menu and breakfast was a buffet. Food was ok. Close drive to Lions Rock.

This hotel was booked by MakeMyTrip when we visited srilanka in Dec 2024. The hotel outside is good with some nice garden area/pool etc but the rooms / food and menu are very basic. The rooms and beds/towels etc had very musty smell. Room service was very average. Though we had booked half board, there was no buffet and instead some limited menu which was disappointing. There are many hotels in this area - so one can check out other hotels too before choosing this.

MICE IN THE BED. Avoid. What more to say- there were mice in the bed. Other highlights - NO hot water - 1 x plug socket in the room worked with exposed wires - broken safe (with advise to leave belongings in the safe) - AC is Baltic or roasting - no reception staff on after 8pm - 2 amazing dogs on property, which would have saved the day but they then howled all night. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. No one on property was able to make a decision and they didn’t take anything seriously. Pros: -The gardener was a sweet man

Flower Garden Eco Village is one of the best hotels to stay in Sigiriya. It has the most spectacular environment. Hotel rooms are spacious and very clean. Food is also good and they have very friendly staff and value for money would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The place is peaceful and very well organised, the chef and team of staff exceptionally helpful and eager to please.
