Hotel berhampiran Masjid Alkaff Upper Serangoon, Singapura

Generally had a good stay as usual, the room was a little dated but very clean at least for the room we had occupied. Would like to highlight the lady housekeeping staff on level 6 was very detailed and helpful. Was unfortunately unable to get her name (she could speak Chinese well and sounded like she was from Vietnam) but things definitely worked better when she was around. Grateful for the housekeeping gentlemen staff on the 4th level for passing us a fresh set of towels. Very appreciative of their efforts in making our stay a restful one. Staffs at reception / check in was also very helpful and friendly. Just one small gripe. The usual super cheerful and nice breakfast managers seem to have left. Recalled they were better in terms of managing the crowds, tables and disposition. There are now more than 5 staffs around during breakfast hours on some days but tables are still mostly uncleared. Also, there was a Chinese lady with long hair seemingly with strange set of manners towards local guests which left a sour impression for myself. Thankfully only encountered her on 2 out of the 7 days of our stay. Breakfast spread is decent albeit the croissants were hard as rock for 3 out of 7 days but all in all, would recommend for a stay!

Good location but the hotel check in process is a little slow and they don’t have special parking rate for hotel guest, will have to pay for the parking about 50 dollars a night

Kemudahan biliknya selesa dan kemas, kebersihan juga sangat bersih, dan pelayan yang berinteraksi dengan saya sangat mesra dan bertimbang rasa. Bilik yang saya duduki pada malam pertama adalah bersebelahan dengan lif, yang agak bising pada waktu malam selepas menukar bilik kemudian, saya tidur dengan nyenyak. Hotel ini mempunyai lokasi yang sangat baik dan sangat mudah untuk melawat tempat-tempat menarik dan makan berdekatan.

Kinda disappointed, 5 star hotel without welcome drink, nobody to carry your luggage to your room and I first didn’t get the room I booked, had to get angry on the phone for 30 minutes to finally get it. The room was good and breakfast too

This was the best experience for me. Jasper ong and violet tan were the best. Especially, they were so kind. And violet gave me the comfort of a mother. We stayed here as a group of 8 people during our business trip and I can fully recommend the hotel. the area was great for us, lot of bars and restaurants and good night life. Further, the bus which brought us to the company every day was just around the corner (Bus no. 15). The hotel itself is very clean, has a big shower (so good!!!) and was cleaned every day. I liked that in the bed there was two different pillows, a soft one and a firm one! since I only like soft ones it was great for me! the stuff is really nice and helpful. booking taxi middle in the night for us or giving good tips as we had some issues with the credit card (it wasn't hotel fault, it was the bank!) and the best : the stuff is always smiling!! not to forget the nice orange juice machine (two!). having a fresh orange juice after the hot working day was great! I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, but I did from the juice machine :) Breakfast was nice and there is always something for everyone. me for my part love Asian food, so I enjoyed kaya buns and the fresh fruits. Also the coffee is nice and I loved the masala tea! Around the corner of the hotel you can eat famous Katong laksa! the best in the city in my honest opinion! Also five chicken star is nice place to eat since they are serving very good hainanese chicken rice. If you go down the street from five chicken star, you will find Mel´s Place, a nice beer garden with local people. You can watch football here, play billard or enjoy live music on some events. When traveling, I like to connect with local people and get more nice tips where to go, so my tips here are far away from the touristic areas and events.

Greetings esteemed reviewers, it is with great dismay that I pen this review to share my recent experience at the Conrad Orchard Singapore which was well below expectation. This isn't my first time to stay here. In a previous review, I had bestowed upon the hotel a rating of four stars and had made mention of the General Manager's name, Oscar Postma, as a mild critique of their performance. My stay had been quite wonderful, albeit marred by their proclivity towards complacency in providing minor special requests. However, I found myself the subject of ill-treatment at the hands of the hotel's personnel. Their behavior was nothing short of bullying, as they proceeded to pursue punitive measures against my top-tier membership in their esteemed chain of hotels, ultimately resulting in its suspension. The road to reinstatement was replete with challenges, and I was disconcerted by their unseemly conduct, which seemed to be directed towards punishing me for my candid review. It is my duty to warn other fellow reviewers that these individuals are not to be mistaken for gentlemen of standing and refinement, but rather, they utilize tactics that are more in line with the mindset of a thug, targeting those who dare to voice their concerns. Any potential guest at the Conrad Orchard Singapore should be prepared to navigate such hostility. In summation, I find the behavior of the hotel's personnel to be wholly unacceptable, and I would caution any prospective guests to prepare themselves accordingly. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to all who might consider a stay at this establishment.

As two couples we had a great 7 day stay at Fraser Suites. I will summarise our stay as follows: Positives: The accommodation suited us perfectly; spacious, with a balcony, washer, dryer, and two bathrooms. Plenty of storage space, especially in the kitchen if you need it. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The apartment was spotless and housekeeping visited every day, replenishing laundry powder, toiletries and they also left fresh towels. The master bedroom is big, with ensuite bathroom (with a separate toilet to the shower). There is a Fairprice Finest literally next door, along with a Little Farms, and an Italian restaurant that does takeaway pizza. Other local eateries too. The Great World MRT is about a 12-15 minute walk away, but once you get the hang of the buses they are good too, as there are stops nearby. The MRT is just two stops away on this route (Riva Lodge). We didn’t use the free shuttle service. The pool area was nice and pool towels are provided. We never had to wait long for the lifts. Negatives: A mirror in the bedroom would have been useful so that I could do my make-up and dry my hair whilst my husband was in the shower. I don’t think there was one in the master bedroom either. There are full length mirrors all along one wall in the kitchen so I resorted to doing my hair and make-up in there. No spare socket by the bed. Nowhere to put towels in the smaller bathroom. We would have been happy to re-use towels if there was somewhere to hang them up and felt this was a waste of energy. A couple of hooks would have been brilliant. The kitchen was very poorly equipped if you’re going to be there for a longer period, but there is a note left by management to just ask for anything you need. A small table on the balcony would have been useful. Breakfast was very hit and miss. On more than one occasion I had to tell the staff that the scrambled eggs and sausages were cold. I was very worried about the food safety aspect of lukewarm meat. We ended up asking the staff to get the chef to make us fresh eggs once we realised this was an option. The toaster was so slow and took 2-3 rotations to get anything other than warm bread. It was however nice to have a bit of variety of the Asian dishes. If you don’t mind being a bit outside of the city, this is a great place for families with the convenience of laundry facilities and a balcony. Daily housekeeping was a bonus and breakfast included. I would certainly recommend it. I hope this is helpful!

Great hotel, had a bus-stop right near the entrance area. Paid around $1.50 to get to Vivocity which is also 15min walking distance. Around the same amount to get to the Gardens by the Bay. Lots of different bus numbers at this stop. There is a train station close by as well but we didnt use this. Overall good experience, like most new hotels the rooms are smaller sized but the bed was firm and comfortable. Water pressure was average. Breakfast was surprisingly good however, it can get busy and some tourists can get a bit pushy. The staff were polite and helpful.

Very good service the receptionist is very friendly and accommodate to my room request full fulfilling my needs. Environment is nice and convenient and my room view is nice facing the airport runway. The receptionist also accommodate to my late checkout request really appreciate it. Thanks so much for the memorable experience at crowne plaza changi airport and hope to come again.
