Been to Fullerton Hotel many times for dining and events at ballroom, and it’s my first time staying here. Checked-in on a weekday, the staff seemed to be new as she couldn’t answer most of my queries but luckily she gotten help from another senior staff who was quick to assist so all was good.
Room was classy, posh and clean. There’s a bathtub and toilet bowl with bidet function (also auto opening lid). We are a party of 2A2C and the hotel added a rollaway bed for free which was really appreciated! Children amenities like toiletries, bathrobe and bedroom slippers were provided upon request from housekeeping.
Balcony felt kind of dirty and tables/chairs not well maintained, which was a surprise to me considering Fullerton being a 5* hotel.
Pool at level 2 had a great view of surrounding, it’s not big but served its function with jacuzzi available too! There’s always deck chairs available when I was there. Gym was good, spacious with many different types of machines and equipment.
Had buffet dinner at the Town restaurant, initial impression was that it seemed short staffed as there is only 1 staff receiving customers and leading them to the table (I would think this is usually a 2 people job, 1 to register guests and 1 to lead the way). But anyway, Johnson who led me in was really nice in explaining information and very patiently taking my questions. Variety of food was great here and the staff were really helpful too, coming by table frequently to clear dirty plates. Salmon Sashimi and snow crab legs were really fresh and delicious !
There’s many shops and restaurants around the hotel so it’s really convenient.
Check out was a breeze and after the stay, I must say that Fullerton’s service level was top notch! Enjoyed my stay and would love to be back.

A very nice and affordable hotel room! Love the theme and the inclusion of a small blackboard to write/draw. The communal facilities are well maintained and its not often to see a hotel with an open kitchen for their occupants.
Rooms are cleans, and amenities are well stocked. Toiletries can be found near reception.
Overall a pleasant stay, and definitely will reconsider coming back here again!

The quality of food in the club lounge has dropped significantly compared to my previous visit in 2022. Lounge serves red/white/prosecco during cocktail hours.
The water temperature for the shower fluctuates resulting in an uncomfortable shower experience. The bathtub in the room was huge.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff at the level 3 breakfast restaurant appears to be lost and unsure of what to do. However, the service level of the staff at the club lounge was excellent.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Paradox Hotel Singapore on Merchant Road. The hotel blends modern sophistication with a touch of local charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from check-in to check-out. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered great views of the city. The facilities, including the rooftop pool and well-equipped gym, were fantastic for unwinding after a busy day. The location is perfect—centrally located with easy access to both cultural attractions and the vibrant food scene. I highly recommend Paradox Hotel Singapore for anyone visiting the area!

In overall, I like their service & also their hospitality and may come back again .
My Air Conditioner wasn’t cold at first 2hours and I contacted them, they just came 15mn after that, cleaned it, and told me it’s the rule their AC cannot change to 18 or 20- but it will decrease by ownself to least of 21•c. And it is fine after that AC dropped to only 22, but so cold after cleaning.
Their staffs at front desk are all helpful and friendly when I asked them on which MRT station to go shortest…
There was some 2 stains on mattress cover that I really don’t like, but didn’t inform since I used to see many reviews before on such thing.
Room is quite small, but it’s normal size for SG hotelsss at this similar price based on my research- location is just the best, easy to reach many famous destinations.

Very strategic and convenient location opposite Malabar Mosque, bus stop in front of hotel, Lavender MRT station nearby (450m), Arab Street (halal food), Little India, and various tourist attraction within walking distance👍. Room was quite small but new n clean. It's ok since we're roaming around the city most of the time after all. At time of booking, only queen bed was available because of last minute booking but at time of checking in the front desk offered twin beds for us. Excellent service!! Not a luxury hotel but great location, good service, good hotel, good price, good wifi (great for transferring lots of photos 😍), good views...nothing bad so far. Just don't bring too many bags or big bags...space too small to put many/big bags. No iron n iron board inside the room too. We survive anyway 😉 Will definitely come again nxt time around 😊

Outstanding
FFrancisco A1) When we checked in, we were told we could enjoy a 20 percent discount from the hotel's restaurants. We ate therefore at Jiang Nan Chun, the Chinese restaurant of the hotel
( total bill S$242), and the next day, at Nobu Japanese restaurant ( total bill- around $402). When we checked out, however, the discount was not given, even if the restaurant's
waiter told us that the discount would be given upon check out from the hotel. ( The total amount spent on the two restaurants was S$645!)
2) The most shocking thing was that the flush of the towel bowl did not work on Sunday, May 26. We used the flush but the water was overflowing and the feces were floating about. So we tried to pour water into the toilet bowl three times by using the waste can of the toilet to fill it full with water to flush the toilet but still to no avail. Finally, we had to ask for help from the hotel staff to solve the problem. The hotel staff later gave us a plate of fruits and a short letter of apology for the inconvenience caused.
AAnonymous UserThis is my 2nd stay here, for my birthday this year! Always loved how the location is convenient and it has everything I need for a simple but satisfying stay. Everything was great, I got upgraded to the 24th Floor 🥹🥹! Only slight downside was that the door had to be pushed really, REALLY hard to close / open it (it won't close properly). Not a huge nuisance but I do have to use my whole body weight to close the door lol. And there were dust bunnies in the gaps where the door lock (the black latch) is. I had to wipe that down myself. Besides these, the stay was comfy and great! Thank you once again! :)
SswVery enjoyable stay and the bed was nice. Would particularly like to thank chef nisalaka and our cleaner Joanna, but other staff were good too.
Nice lounge food
GGuest Userthe room was huge for my family. and there is a lot of friendly staff all over the hotel with mini-events for my children to participate in.
the morning breakfast buffet was awsome too! really really great choice and unforgettable feast
there is also this pool side game which my child manage to win a cup of brain freeze ice drink! awsome! although my stay was a short 2days one night. but my family and I had such a wonderful time there. will definaly book again for a long stay the next round.
MMui HuangWe faced some hiccups during check-in, which was frustrating. The daytime front desk staff were not welcoming or friendly, making the start of our stay less enjoyable. In contrast, the night shift staff were much more engaging and motivated, which was a relief.
Duty Manager Dahlia made an effort to address my concerns after I provided feedback, and I appreciate her attempts at service recovery.
The hotel itself is nice, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the inconsistency in service left us disappointed. I hope they can improve the front desk experience in the future. Overall, while we had some enjoyable moments, it wasn’t the celebration we had hoped for.
SSmallschittOverall stay was alright, fridge was unusable because the previous tenants left either spoiled yoghurt or milk and the smell was quite bad even after staff cleaned it once.
There were stains on the wall as well and on the floor, but can't confirm what they were.
Wooden window seat turned our tissue yellow when we wiped it, not sure if it was the laminate, but concerning.
Other than that the idea of not using bottled water but offering a seperate filtered tap next to the sink tap in the bathroom was a neat idea, water tasted absolutely fine. And the bedroom itself was gorgeous, though it does feel dated for sure.
SSeat 2APerfectly situated amidst countless shopping and dining options in the busiest commercial area of Singapore. Though this is clearly a much older property, it appears to be well maintained and clean. Slept well during my stay and appreciated the rooftop pool and comprehensively equipped gymnasium. For the price paid, this was good value, especially considering how expensive hotels are in Singapore.
AAnonymous UserDisappointing. Reached the hotel around 315PM, there was a long queue for check-in, waited till 410PM before I was served for check-in. Waiting one hour in queue just to check-in was really a shocker to me for a 5 star hotel standard and please do not place an intern in charge of the queue if they have to go back and forth to check with the Duty Managers for every enquiry they encounter. It just makes the wait even more unpleasant. Hotel is clearly short-handed and staff were pushing for guests to accept twin beds room because the king beds are not ready. I am usually okay with it but this hotel charges more for the king beds even though it's the same tier as the twin beds so I don't think this is acceptable and insisted on a king bed. Witnessed two guests lodging a complaint during my stay which explains the hospitality level of this hotel. Trip Diamond members are offered a platter of fruits as stated in the booking but there were none in the room. Had to request it from the room service and came back to just two apples served on a plate. The elderly staffs at the concierge are friendly but FOH and the rest can do better. Staffs will walk past you without a nod or a smile which is shocking for a 5 star hotel/resort. Had a reservation for the Vday buffet and the food selection was mediocre and the crabs were mushy. Price of the buffet did not justify the selection, Westin's Seasonal Tastes is a better option at a lower price. The hot water for the shower did not work on check-out day and we had to shower in the cold water. Minibar only provided 2 Nescafé capsules and some TWG tea, the fridge was empty with no other beverages or snacks available. Bed was amazing and comfortable but the bathtub can be upkeep better. Fish spa was fun but you can see mosquitos breeding on the water surface. Pool area was filled with children so couples might want to reconsider. Was given a later check-out timing upon request which was a nice gesture. Overall experience was a shocking disappointment as I expected a better experience just like other 5 star hotels. So glad that I did not pay the original price for this stay and got a last minute deal with breakfast included. Else, this will be a 0 star experience.
PPreziGood location. Near Vivo city - great. Near to two churches, Awesome. Early check-in no guarantee though. This was not suitable for my early arrival
AAnonymous UserThis hotel at orchardz area, you can go off at somerset MRT station exit D.. easy to find this hotel, near seven eleven, and just walking for about 10-minutes to takashimaya, tang plaza, and other busy area at orchard.. standar room, shower, free refill for water inside room.. good choice for short stay at singapore..
