This is my continuous reviews and as usual it's as good as gold. Over the past 15 years I had been staying at this hotel on and off and those staffs had ultimately became my old pals. Nevertheless this is one of my favourite hotels in Singapore. Cheers

Staff is not friendly, no smiling greeting upon approaching.
Booking with breakfast, but not reflecting in their system. Every morning have to explain to the restaurant staff that I did paid for breakfast and show check in voucher which is really troublesome.
Breakfast option is little and repetitive every morning with a lot of processed food product.
Room is generally clean and comfortable.

Title: Disappointing Anniversary Stay with Construction View
Review:
My partner and I recently stayed at Village Hotel Albert Court to celebrate our anniversary, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. Despite requesting a higher floor with a good view, we were dismayed to find ourselves facing a construction site. This was hardly the romantic backdrop we had hoped for on such a special occasion.
On the bright side, the cleanliness of the room was commendable, and the amenities provided were satisfactory. However, we were surprised to discover that only one set of soap and shampoo was provided for the both of us. This oversight meant that we had to ration these essentials, which was far from ideal.
To add to our disappointment, both the TV and ceiling fan were out of order throughout our stay, detracting from our comfort and enjoyment.
One positive aspect of our stay was the convenient location of the hotel, with various shops nearby.
Overall, while the cleanliness and location were satisfactory, the lack of attention to our requests, insufficient amenities, and malfunctioning facilities left us feeling disappointed with our anniversary stay at Village Hotel Albert Court.

Location very close to Rochor station around 250 m only .
The Reception Miss Pashmini is giving excellent service , bell Boys All friendly n helpful .
One other Reception Lady too much busy n not responding friendly ,when I called to inquiry .
The other Man Reception John service not bad .

Overall stay has been comfortable. Perhaps the hotel can consider providing bottled drinks as not all guests are comfortable drinking from tap water including myself. The front line staffs are pleasant and courteous. Enjoyed my stay.

The location is very good , 200m from MRT and only 3 stops from Bayfront.
The reception desk people are very helpful and polite. They provided me even some first aid material.
I stayed in this hotel 20 years ago so returned back to relive the wonderful experience I had before.
It is normal that the hotel was not as brilliant as 20 years ago.
I was a bit disappointed by the small size of the bathroom and not being in perfect shape but I am glad having stayed there again.
It is a hotel with character.
I wish the breakfast was of a more reasonable price.
