Generally had a good stay as usual, the room was a little dated but very clean at least for the room we had occupied. Would like to highlight the lady housekeeping staff on level 6 was very detailed and helpful. Was unfortunately unable to get her name (she could speak Chinese well and sounded like she was from Vietnam) but things definitely worked better when she was around. Grateful for the housekeeping gentlemen staff on the 4th level for passing us a fresh set of towels. Very appreciative of their efforts in making our stay a restful one. Staffs at reception / check in was also very helpful and friendly.
Just one small gripe. The usual super cheerful and nice breakfast managers seem to have left. Recalled they were better in terms of managing the crowds, tables and disposition. There are now more than 5 staffs around during breakfast hours on some days but tables are still mostly uncleared. Also, there was a Chinese lady with long hair seemingly with strange set of manners towards local guests which left a sour impression for myself. Thankfully only encountered her on 2 out of the 7 days of our stay. Breakfast spread is decent albeit the croissants were hard as rock for 3 out of 7 days but all in all, would recommend for a stay!
They have two wings: the East Wing and the West Wing (which has bigger rooms). The front desk informed us that they could only upgrade us for the first night as they were fully booked on the second night , so we chose not to upgrade at all to avoid moving to another building .
The hotel is right beside Zhongshan Mall. It’s a very small mall with just a few shops, but it’s enough. They have a McDonald’s, Starbucks, Toast Box, BreadTalk Bakery, FairPrice supermarket, and a Guardian pharmacy and I especially loved the serene garden .🌲🍂
The check-in process was exceptionally smooth and the staff was very helpful. Despite arriving late for breakfast with only 30 minutes left to eat, the chef was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even offering us more food . Breakfast last call at 9:45am .
The only minor downside was that the room and bed were a bit smaller than expected, and if you turn too much, you might feel like you’ll fall off 🤣🤣. Aloft took over the building from two other hotels last June. Personally, I felt everything was great, except for the room itself ,which they can’t do much about.
Price was on the steep side due to F1 weekend.but overall, it was a delightful experience.💖

We booked the Club Room as part of our honeymoon staycation. We love our stay there! The service is top notch, they even prepared lovely surprises in our room. We were so impressed by the friendly staff, especially Candy at the Executive Club Lounge who has been so sweet to us! Thank you so much, hope to be back again in the future!
We came here november 12 with my husband and our first tike to travel in singapore and we choose this hotel because some of my friends told me to book this hotel because in front only the bus station and the mrt not too far .The price is not that expensive and it's ok ...A lot of filipino stayed here in hotel and i would like to thanks to staff jevania who assist on us in the hotel reception and the staff also who cleaned in our room number 828 .This hotel is kind of old but comfortable and the service is good.Thank you we definately be back💕🫶🙏🇸🇬
Mempunyai pengalaman buruk dengan aircond, terasa hangat pada pukul 3 pagi. Memanggil penerimaan tetamu dan mereka memberi saya pertukaran bilik segera. Tetapi malangnya bilik lain datang dengan bau dari lubang saliran bilik mandi.
Nice to be back! Thank you for accommodating my special requests. Nice view! I was held up at check in and given a coffee voucher for waiting (over 10mins), but it’s fine. Unfortunately our first check-in room experience wasn’t pleasant. There was blood stain on the sofa and unknown hair, feather and droplets of water on the floor. The electric kettle wasn’t working and a day later the toilet flush down. The room had a lot of faults! But, they fixed it up quickly as soon as I called the receptionist. I don’t mean to be troublesome. I borrowed the pool towels to make bed for my dog (sorry if it’s illegal, but dun worry he’s on diapers so won’t dirty the towels). There were more snacks choices this time and I always like the lemon mint infused water. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and had a relaxing long weekend. One more thing to pets owners, I would say this hotel is pet friendliest after I called some other hotels to check them out. I will definitely be back with my dog anytime I want to bring him along for a staycay. Cashy loved it and celebrated his birthday in the room. Thank you Citadines crews for making our stay at ease and enjoyable.
Front office staff do not know how to thank the guest, very opposite from the housekeeping attendant who more friendly, smiling, greeting and of course thank the guest when we were leaving the hotel…

It’s important to note that things like water and the fridge is communal and you just need to go to the main area at each floor to get your water and use the fridge. It can get loud if you are located near the lift, but overall; it’s a great place to stay
WWill_kA warm welcome by friendly reception brings a smile and brightens up your day. Loving the vibes and the beautiful infinity pool at Canyan club. The night view at the pool is something to marvel at while you taste some of their delightful cocktail.

PPengguna TetamuToilet dustbin not cleared from previous guest. Access to rooms at 4th floor is only by steps so not handicapped friendly or easily assessed by people with heavy luggages. Room is very small and tight, toilet floor gets wet after showering as there's no shower curtain or dry/wet area divide. Other than these, the room was clean, receptionist service is good and attentive. They offered 2 free beverages at the lobby which was a delight.

The hostel was generally okay and the location great. The only thing missing is having a microwave, I had to go to their sister hostel to use the microwave there when I needed to warm my food
