We had a fantastic stay!! The staff was so helpful after a few little hiccups we encounter after arrival...they made everything right. Either Francesca or Lucia were at the front desk night and day to help with any questions, recommendations or concerns. We booked an hour in the INCREDIBLE SPA and had 2 of the most relaxing massages on this earth! Thank you Tonia and Liliana! WOW! That was the highlight for sure! Each day/night we would walk 15 minutes or so into Ortigia to explore, shop and dine. We didn't mind the walk at all. The last day we had a cab take us all the way to the castle at the bottom of ortigia (that was fun to explore) and made our way back up stopping for wine and pastries along the way. The jacuzzi on our patio was relaxing to watch the sunset each evening. Pure heaven. Thank you to all of you mentioned above who made our vacation so special !!!!!

We stayed in one of the suites for 3 nts. I loved the view and it was spacious. The outdoor area had 3 chairs and a table and also a small hot tub. Upon checking in, the AC didn’t work. I went down to the desk and she reset something and got it working. 1:30am, woke up boiling. It went out again. Went down to the desk and dealt with that again and they got it working. 5am same thing. Terrible night sleep. They did fix it that day, so AC problem solved. Problem1: Third night we were there, we had a big thunderstorm and lots of wind. The one window in the bedroom opens inward and is hinged at the bottom. At 5am the wind was blowing so bad and the window was banging. We got up to look and saw the window had no lock or anyway to keep it shut from the wind and it kept blowing open. We pushed a chair in front and that helped somewhat, but it still rattled because the chair wasn’t that heavy. Problem2: There used to be a window above the bed. They put Sheetrock over it and left the window. With the storm there was tons of banging from the old window. Needless to say, another night’s sleep ruined.

Very smart, well run place. Breakfast is slightly limited but all delicious. 15 min walk to Ortigia and the main tourist area, restaurants, etc. The balcony at the rear of the room overlooking the bay is a very nice addition. It's worth a stay!

This luxury suites live up to their name, we got a room for 4 adults and 2 small dogs. The room was spacious (loft type), my husband and I got the queen bed on the second floor and the grownup kids got individual beds in the living room, we never felt overcrowded when we were all in the room. The view from our balcony was wonderful, right on the ocean! But the best of our stay was the staff at the hotel, they were really nice and accommodating. Always helped us with last minute requests with a smile. Although the location is not too bad, is not close to restaurants or cafes; but that was not an issue for us. We were able to get around in our car or by taxi. Overall this was a great place to stay in Siracusa, highly recommend!

Could easily have been a 5 star review as the ‘bones’ of this hotel are great. The positives were - the stunning view and location over the sea - you could hear the waves lapping from your balcony which was lovely, the staff were friendly and the bed was high quality and comfortable. However, have marked this hotel down due to the price paid and the niggley list of things that weren’t quite right for the price we paid. These included broken light in bathroom, patchy availability of hot water, lack of useful hotel info in the room, loose fixtures and fittings (eg sockets and loo roll holder), rubbish TV with no access to apps nor English channels, cheap plastic cover over the mattress that we removed as it was too annoying, no milk for drinks…. None of these are deal breakers as you can see but overall for the price and as compared to other places we stayed in Sicily, I expected more

Nice apartment. Ours was on two levels with sofa downstairs and bed and bathroom upstairs. Stairs and elevator. No bath but large shower. Bed was ok. It wasn’t small not big and a little uncomfortable. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Room was very clean with stunning views. It was however around 1.5km from main part of Syracuse. Not an easy walk and we had to walk 500 metres for bud to pick us up due to the narrow street. Not a great street but not was it dangerous. A couple of restaurants nearby but we’ll away from main restaurant area. Your have to pay to use the pool as it’s in the spa. We did get small use but only for a couple of hours one day, even though staying several days.

5 star service! Spectacular location on the water. We enjoyed the spa service and the morning breakfast delivered to our room each morning. The staff assisted us with parking and prepared a welcome Appertivo for us to enjoy on the balcony overlooking the water. Easy walk to Ortigia. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful, spanning three nights filled with pleasure. We relished the comfortable accommodations and were captivated by the stunning water view from our room. Although the bathroom could use a few updates, it didn't have a major impact on our overall experience. The female staff, especially Emily, extended their warmth and friendliness throughout our stay. However, we must admit that the breakfast barista didn't quite meet our expectations. While the breakfast buffet was decent, the abundance of nearby coffee choices provided a convenient alternative. Without a doubt, we would eagerly return to Syracuse and consider Re Dionissio as our preferred accommodation once again.

We have been traveling around Sicily for over a week and this has been our favourite stay yet! The view is breathtaking, the service is 5 star, the location was prime (easy to drive to at night as we were coming from far away and checked in past 11 pm with NO issues) plus easy to walk to ortiga for the nightlife, parking was easy for us as we lucked out on the street both days, but I think it could be trickier! We booked late so all that was left was the large apartment with the kitchenette - it was much more than we needed but the 2 bathrooms was kind of nice (his and hers)! Breakfast buffet was okay - nothing special compared to other places, but the real experience for us was having breakfast come to the room the one day to enjoy on our private balcony! Watching the sunrise and sleeping under the stars with the retractable window/blinds was a real treat and nice touch! My last note about this space was cleanliness was medium - I felt it could have been a bit cleaner on the floors etc from dust! Overall - we loved it, especially the view and location to split up our roadtrip!
