Spent three nights over new year, lovely b&b lovely people, clean warm comfortable, breakfast was excellent, would certainly recommend this b&b, hopefully be back in the summer, thank you, dave & glyn.

Just returned from a short two day family break at the Ivydene. Very impressed. My son loved his double bed, although we thought the room was a bit small and compact, but cosy. Had a family suite. Food was lovely and massive portions for the evening meals, we didn’t do the meals justice unfortunately but do recommend and a very hearty breakfast also. The homemade Yorkshire puddings are to die for.

Disappointing from the start. 2 spaces only to park & empty but was told couldn't park t here. Was told we're on top floor so explained not poss. & was changed to first floor but room very small, shower trickled & barely warm. Bed most uncomfortable. Petty over breakfast. We left after 2 sleepless nights instead of 4. Will not be returning.

Stayed for 2 nights owners are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Hotel clean and cosy. Breakfast really nice. Great location and car parks nearby. Also had a bar so you can have a drink in the evening really nice.

The rooms were Clean and comfortable.. Really great breakfast . Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely and clean.Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location. Close to all the attractions.

came here after bad experience at other hotel, the Ivydene, Excellent. staff exceptional, so friendly and helpful, cater for all your needs, Breakfast, excellent choice value for money, didn't evening meals here but if breakfast anything to go by, would be value.. Bar, good, nice to mix with other guests, sitting room also available if just want to chill out watching TV Room, brilliant, bed really comfy. clean and well maintained, towels would be changed daily if required, nothing seemed too much trouble, would certainly go back. Thank to all staff that made my stay enjoyable. Jeanette

I've stayed in many b&bs in Skegness, and I have to say, this is probably the worst. I got bad looks from the owner for coming down a bit later than I said I would for breakfast. Then we wanted to watch the TV together in the guest lounge, being as we were in 3 rooms, and the owner told us that they themselves use it in the evening, so we had to all squash into one bedroom to watch TV. On the day we were leaving, we had 6 hours to wait until our bus left so asked if they could save a couple of our cases (standard thing that every other b&b says yes to) and they refused! We found the owners quite rude and we didn't feel welcome there unfortunately.
