Perfectly fine but if you’re budget conscious, this isn’t the place to spend extra $$. After looking at options on the peninsula, this seemed like the best option, even though it was more expensive than other options. The view was great but not really worth paying more when all we really wanted was good food and a comfy place to sleep. Did not love our meals, pretty bland overall. Also, the pillows on the bed were flat. The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but not a great value for what you get.

No special amenities such as tissues, soap or lotion. Just the standard sink soap refillable as well as one shower soap. Towels were ok. No curtains. Coffee setup for one person and there was trash in the cans. A room that costs $300 complete for 1 night should be a bit more Special.

Удобное местоположение. Очень чисто и аккуратно. Вид на море (но оно не близко, или на горы). Завтрак весьма скромный - хлеб, сыр, ветчина, вареное яйцо. Выпечки нет. Общий душ совмещен с туалетом - один на 4 номера.

Overall very good, for a reasonable price, they have new and clean facilities, with decent room space. Has quite environment and friendly staff. Its not 24 hour reception and breakfast could be better. Can also adjust the door of the corridor to be more queit as it's loud when close without paying attention.

Nice set up with multiple cottages on one side of the road (further from the water) and the hotel on the other side (closer to the water). If view is important to you, then the hotel might have better access to water view as some of the cottages probably look at the buildings of the hotel. Luckily my cottage was at the east end (room 11) so my window had an unobstructed view of the water, and my door could see the hotel/water as well. Check in is at the Arnarstapi Center (where the restaurant is) and that’s also where you park your car. It’s a short 1-2 min walk to your cottage. But you are allowed to drive up to your cottage to unload luggage before parking your car a bit further. The inside is basic but lights were functional. Kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. We didn’t want to eat at the restaurant so bought a sandwich before coming here and microwaved it to heat it up. Would be nice if they provided basic utensils and plates. I had no problems with wifi as some others have had. Fast connection, could watch Netflix. It is true there is limited hot water (~5 min) but my partner and I just showered 1 hour apart at the end of the night. Both had hot water and with the expectation it would be short lived. It’s nearby to the trail by the waterfront including the stone bridge which was pretty. I would stay here again if I drove into the peninsula again.

Room was spot on, check in process was simple, code was sent to me directly, punch the code into the door lock and in you go. Basic stocked kitchen if that's what you need. Location is good Lovely restaurant downstairs Couldn't fault it, don't know what the other reviews are moaning about, they're problem if they can't follow simple instructions. The building itself is spotless and quiet, genuinely couldn't fault the place.
