I have really enjoyed my stay in Sofia, thanks to the amazing staff and rooms at Metropolitan. Only tried the kitchen a couple of times, but both times everything was great! Me and a few colleagues also got a small meeting room while there and all was organised with just a quick ask on the reception desk. Would recommend for a Sofia stay!

I missed my flight at sofia airport so had to book a hotel for one night. So I went for a mid range hotel. It was better than mid range. Lovely helpful staff on reception, an aceptable price with thier discount....paid 68 euros for a large kingsize bed with onsuite bathroom. Comfortable bed, fresh pillows (very snazzy cushions too) and a nice relaxing corner sofa, reasonable TV and every thing was realyl clean. Complimentary coffee and tea, which is not the norm in Bulgaria, nice and quiet, was lovely and warm. Actualyl a bit too warm and I couldnt turn the heating down so I had to sleep wit hte fridge open to cool off as aircon didnt work. THis was the only negative for me. They did an airport pickup, but not a drop off and this nearly stopped me booking, as they should have told me this at the begining, however they were saved by the fact the metro was 4 stops to the airport and cost me 1.60 leva, so about 70p. I picked up food from the little shops in the metro, as I hit a holiday so the restaurants close by were closed. A very lovely stay and Id go there again. AND they had these lovely drop lights near the bed as side lights, some veyr nice touches, clean crisp sheets, soft towels and nice soaps etc and they dont ask you to leave till 12 lunch time. What a pleasant experience! From entering the hotel until we left, we enjoyed a fine and warm welcome from friendly reception staff, accommodating servers at the bar, high-end shower products from Rituals, a great view from the 15th floor, and a wide offer for breakfast. Parking is also available, and the hotel is only a short, 15-minute ride from downtown Sofia. This makes it a top choice for business or leisure travel. There is also a cozy kids corner for younger guests. We liked so much the experience that we came back a week later. Could only congratulate the staff and the management, and highly recommend the hotel to anyone going to Sofia!
