Excellent hotel. Was a saviour when we arrived after midnight. Called reception & they organized a pick up from terminal 2 at €25. Free shuttle before 12noon back to airport very good. Highly recommend the place

New refurbished so looking good. Ideal only if you have a car to transfer to airport or city centre.

Just 10 mins away from airport. Convenient. Staff were pleasant from check in (even though it was late). Breakfast was sumptuous. Nice and relaxing rooms. Just what was needed. Definitely a good, affordable deal and will be back. Thank you.

As a long time Hilton member this hotel is just lacking so much all the way around! The staff is trying but they have zero support The AC in this hotel does not go below 78f in your room and there is not a thing they will do. They will provide you with a fan but it’s just not acceptable. The place is loud and it just is. It up to Hilton standards so not stay here. We checked out the next morning and went to the Sheraton at the airport what a great place all the way around especially if tour flying. So I filled a complaint with Hilton they could care less the customer care of Hilton is just dropping pushing me to be a Marriot guy. Do not stay here is the bottom line!!!!

Horrible, horrible experience! Couldn't sleep A/C not working, they told me to open the windows, if I WANTED TO DO THIS I'D GO CAMPING! Blow dryer did not work, toiletries were on the shower floor. Front desk couldn't care less and made the comment that the hotel should be shut down. We Agree! Last but not least pillows smelled like sweatm disgusting.

A no frills hotel near airport. Perfect for transit or taking early morning flight. Hotel provides free shuttle to airport. Drinks and food not that much costly. Recommended for flying out of malpesna airport.

We have been loyal Hilton customers for almost 20 years so when I say avoid this hotel please know I know what I am talking about. First this hotel is not close to the airport. Its a good 15 min drive. There is a sheraton right at the airport so if you are staying here coz u need to catch a flight then stay at the sheraton. The ac was not working when we checked in at 11am. We wanted to take advantage of going to see a bit of Milan before our flight so before we left we told the front desk they said- don't worry we will get it fixed. Yeah there was NO AC in the entire hotel and THEY KNEW IT!!! The reason given was - we are switching from winter to summer - in the middle of july???? So we get back to the hotel at 11pm - no ac in the rooms and no need to move us to another room coz there was no ac. So we had to sleep in 90 degree heat. When we tried to speak to the manager the next morning - we had to wait and finally we left as we had a flight to catch. Things happen, things break down this is understandable but if they had just told us when we checked in that the ac is not working we could have made other arrangements. If they could not get it fixed all they had to do was call us and let us know and again we had time to move to another hotel. What is one to do when you walk in at 11pm? The breakfast the next day was awful - the scrambled eggs were literally congealed. They also offer a "free" shuttle to the airport - yeah no the shuttle driver charged us 25 euro and he only took cash - as we were taking a flight home we did not have euros on us anymore and so we had to pay him extra in dollars. The reason I am writing this review is because the reviews on tripadvisor really helped me plan my trip and have a successful vacation so if I can help one person then this review was worth it. This is not a small family run bed and breakfast - this is a multi billion dollar hotel chain. This is just not acceptable.

Terrible experience. We booked a standard room. They knew that the AC doesn’t work but didn’t tell us (it was a very hot time of the year). When insisting on moving, they offered an other room that did not open, and they couldn’t fix it. We asked for a refund and left. STAY AWAY.

I didn't actually stay here. I turned up in the early hours of the morning after a delayed flight arrival to find I didn't have a booking and that my travel agent had given me the wrong hotel details. It seems there is a hotel up the road that used to be called the Garden Inn but changed names a year ago but some systems haven't updated. The people on the desk were fantastic even though I wasn't a customer. They rang the other hotel and confirmed I was booked in there and helped me get there too - I think the person that helped me was called Alexander who went out of his way to help. Thank you so much.

Clean and modern rooms. Unable to take pre-authorisation with an Amex card. The climate control in this hotel is terrible. Extremely hot and stuffy with no way to adjust the temperature. The bar did not have a bar tender there during my entire stay. When you want a drink you must ask the front desk who get the wait staff from the restaurant. Once, the front desk staff claimed the bar was shut, even though there was a guy there drinking a beer he’d just bought. The bar itself has exactly zero character. No beers on tap, just a narrow selection of bottled beer. Menu is very limited, but the food is good quality. Not enough staff. Poor standard for a Hilton.

The hotel is nice looking but is lacking in services and quality. As mentioned by another reviewer there are issues with the room temperature controls. Of the 3 different rooms my family occupied, none were comfortable or adjustable. Secondly, my daughter's family had to change rooms because of ant infestation. The hotel gladly moved them, but you just wonder how that can happen in a Hilton, especially since it opened in March 2024. Next, the hotel says it has a restaurant opened for lunch, but it didn't. I had to walk to the nearest restaurant more than a mile away to get lunch. It would have been easy to get a cab, but they seem to be less than honest. Which leads me to my final issue, the taxi services in the area is an absolute negative of staying at the hotel. I needed a taxi to and from the Somma Lombardo Train Station which is only 2.2 kilometer/1.3 miles from the hotel. The cost was €25 and €30 for each of the 2 cabs I took. That would be the expected fair between the hotel and the airport (MXP). The DoubleTree has a free shuttle to both the train station and the airport. Stay there instead. It has better everything!
