My gentle longings for love, life and adventure were rekindled in this magical place. It is a place for soul searching and self re-discovery. The owner is full of humility and grace. He reminds me of a long lost uncle of sorts. Full of wisdom, and colorful life experience. An architect by trade, he structured the Hostel to feel like a serene, meditative home-away-from-home. After staying for more than 10 days, I've fallen in love with the atmosphere of Songkhla, the small town vibes, and this hostel.

โรงแรมนี้ในอดีตเป็นโรงแรมแห่งแรกที่เปิดให้บริการในเขตเมืองเก่าของสงขลา เริ่มก่อสร้างตั้งแต่เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2489 ชั้นล่างก่อด้วยอิฐแดงเผาด้วยกรรมวิธีโบราณและชั้นสองเป็นโครงสร้างไม้สักอย่างดีถือเป็นอาคารพาณิชย์แห่งแรกใน ต. บ่อยาง อ.เมืองสงขลา จ.สงขลา ที่สร้างมาเพื่อประกอบอาชีพโรงแรมรองรับการขยายตัวของหัวเมืองทางใต้ ตั้งอยู่ใกล้ชุมทางรถไฟเมืองสงขลา ซึ่ง ณ เวลานั้นสถานีรถไฟสงขลาคือประตูสู่แดนด้ามขวานของประเทศไทย และเป็นโรงแรมแห่งแรกใน ต.บ่อยาง ที่มีบริการฝักบัวในห้องพักแก่นักท่องเที่ยวจวบจนผ่านกาลเวลามายาวนานถึง 71 ปี โรงแรมนี้ตั้งอยู่บนทำเลดีเยี่ยมเพราะอยู่ไม่ไกลจาก ถนนสายวัฒนธรรมย่านเมืองเก่าสงขลา เรียกได้ว่าเดินไปเที่ยวชมได้ทุกเวลาที่ต้องการ ปัจจุบัน โรงแรม ”สงขลาแต่แรก แอนทีค โฮเท็ล” ได้รีโนเวทพื้นที่ทุกส่วนใหม่ให้เป็นสไตล์แอนทีค” เป็นตึกสไตล์จีนผสมยุโรปหรือที่เรียกว่า ชิโนโปตุกีส โครงสร้างของโรงแรมเป็นตึกสองชั้นเหมือนเดิม ย่างก้าวแรกที่ท่านเข้ามาภายในอาณาบริเวณโรงแรมตลอดทางเดินไปยังโถงล็อบบี้ จะพบกับความตระการตาของ วัตถุโบราณศิลปะจีนประดับอยู่มากมาย มีการจัดวางไว้ได้อย่างลงตัวไม่เยอะหรือน้อยเกินไป เจ้าของโรงแรมแห่งนี้เป็นเจ้าของพิพิธภัณฑ์สำคัญย่านเมืองเก่า ชื่อว่า “บ้านนครใน” จึงได้นำเอาวัตถุโบราณอันทรงคุณค่าที่สะสมกว่า 1,700 ชิ้น อาทิเช่น จาน, แจกัน และกังไสโบราณ มาประดับตกแต่งภายในอาณาบริเวณด้านในอาคารและเรือนพักต่างๆได้อย่างลงตัวจนกลายเป็นจุดเด่นสำคัญที่เต็มไปด้วยมนต์เสน่ห์ สำหรับโรงแรมนี้ โรงแรมนี้มีจำนวนห้องพักทั้งหมด 23 ห้อง 3 แบบ โดยทุกห้องพักจะมีการผสมสไตล์การตกแต่งแบบจีนและยุโรปเข้าด้วยกันได้อย่างกลมกลืน แต่ละห้องจะมีชื่อเรียกนำมาจากชื่อถนนในเมืองสงขลา ซึ่งมีการออกแบบห้องทุกห้องให้สวยมีสไตล์ไม่ซ้ำกัน ทั้งเฟอร์นิเจอร์ภายในห้อง โทนสีห้อง ลวดลายศิลปะการตกแต่งที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ อาทิเช่น หนึ่งในห้องที่น่าเข้าพัก จะมีเตียงนอนฉลุลายขนาดใหญ่แบบจีนโบราณ ที่ทำให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนย้อนเข้าไปในยุคราชวงศ์ชิง ก็มิปาน สำหรับอาหารเช้าท่านสามารถเลือกได้ว่าอยากกินอาหารแบบอเมริกัน หรืออยากลองกินอาหารท้องถิ่นเค้าจะมีเมนูให้เลือกอยากกินถ้าอยากลิ้มลองอาหารใด เขียนแจ้งพนักงานล่วงหน้า ตอนเช้าเค้าจะไปซื้อมาให้กินถือว่าเป็นโอกาสดีได้ลองกินอาหารอร่อยๆในท้องถิ่นโดยไม่ต้องตื่นออกไปค้นหาร้านนั้นๆหรือต้องรอคิวนานๆในกรณีร้านดังร้านเด่นต่างๆก็จะขายดี ภายในห้องพักสะอาด มี ฟรี wifi ให้บริการ ประทับใจในงานบริการของพนักงานงานทุกตำแหน่งอัธยาศัยดี อำนวยความสะดวกและแนะนำสถานที่น่าสนใจพร้อมทั้งร้านอาหารอร่อยให้เขตเมืองเก่าซึ่งบางแห่งข้าพเจ้าไม่ทราบมาก่อนเลย ถ้ามีโอกาสเดินทางมาสงขลาครั้งหน้าจะต้องกลับมาพักที่นี่อีกอย่างแน่นอนครับ

This hotel is new, and has clean facilities, but, as per other reviewers, the management and reception (particularly for non-thais) is horrific. I had the same problem as others when I asked for a second keycard. They refused unless I paid an exorbitant fee, in addition to the massive damage deposit they require, and the additional first keycard deposit they require. The staff stopped assisting me several times to assist thai guests, making every interaction 4 to 5 times longer than necessary. This felt discriminatory and rude. When I asked to speak with management about several issues, I was told they were either not there or that they were not available--staff refused to call them on the phone ir give me a phone number to call. I gave my mobile number and was never called. I was scheduled to stay for 10 nights, but left after one. This place sucks and there are better options around the corner. My advice, stay away! Additionally--room beds are rock hard, water in showers is not hot, and the glasses in the room are literally the size of a double shot glass. Ridiculous.

The hotel a delightful place to stay. The friendly staff, well-equipped kitchen, and spacious rooms with amenities like a big bed and TV with YouTube and Netflix make for a comfortable and convenient experience. The strong WiFi is definitely a plus for travelers needing reliable Internet. Quiet location, the staff are helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions, such as the night market and seaside restaurants like Samila. Overall, it is highly recommended option for visitors looking for a pleasant stay with a touch of local charm and convenience.

I spent one night here as part of my 2022 north-south road trip. At a walk in rate of 750 THB it is pretty average as budget hotels go. The negative reviews here are pretty accurate: the rooms are well-worn, dated and require maintenance and a thorough cleaning. On a positive note: the hot water, air-conditioning, refrigerator worked fine and there were some English Language channels on the television. The room had a water boiler so that was a plus. There is ample parking for those who self-drive. Good enough for a one night stay.

เคยพักที่นี่มาแล้วรอบนึง ดีมากๆค่ะ แบบดีมาก จนมาจองครั้งที่ 2 กับ Trip ได้ส่วนลดเยอะมาก และห้องสะดวกสบายเหมือนเดิม แสงสวย เตียงนุ่ม ห้องหอม ทิชชู่ดีมากค่ะ สะอาด ไม่มีฝุ่น

เราพักPSมาเป็นอาทิตย์กว่าแล้วค่ะ ไม่เคยติอะไรแต่ขอติที่นี่หน่อยนะคะ เราเอาผ้าเช็ดตัวออกไปไว้สองผืนคือเปลี่ยนอันเก่าเอาอันใหม่มาก็สองผืนแม่บ้านเดินมาถามเอาผ้าเช็ดตัวไปกี่ผืนเราบอก2ผืนแล้วแม่บ้านก็พูดว่ามีกล้องวงจรปิดนะคะเราบอกค่ะหมายความว่าไงแล้วเรื่องรถเช่าขับอีกเอารถเราไปให้คนอื่นเช่าขับกุญแจอยู่ที่เราไม่ทราบว่าเอาไปได้ยังไงว่าจะไม่ตำหนิแล้วแต่แม่บ้านพูดไม่ถูกหูบอกจะมาทำห้องบ่ายโมงบ่ายสองครึ่งยังไม่มาเราเลยทำเองเพราะรำคาญมากบอกตรงๆค่ะไม่ใช่เจ้าของรีสอร์ทอย่าพูดเยอะไม่ชอบค่ะมาพักจ่ายเงินค่ะไม่ได้มาพักฟรี

ครั้งนี้เป็นการจองจากทริป ปกติแล้วจะนอนห้องเดี่ยวตลอดถ้าออกต่างจังหวัด แต่ครั้งนี้ เลือกที่จะ พักโฮลเทล โพสเทล ลองดู ห้องน่ารักมาก ไตล์ญี่ปุ่น นอนหลับได้ยาวๆ เดินทางสะดวกค่ะ กลับมาพักอีกแน่นอน 🏖️สภาพแวดล้อม/สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก:ดีมาก 🕰️bเวลาทำการ:มีพี่พนักงานตลอด24ชม. 💞เหตุผลที่แนะนำ:ห้องหอม น้ำแรง

Bilik super super super besar. Bersih dan selesa. Saya sangat menyukai lobi dan kakitangan sangat ramah. Mereka telah menyediakan tempat letak kereta juga. Pasti akan datang kembali kepada mereka untuk perjalanan saya yang seterusnya di hatyai.
