Chambres d'Hotes - la Marmoire

The lovely couple who own and run La Marmoire were delightful and passionate about the place and gave us a wonderful time capped with an excellent meal and breakfast. The location is a rural idyll with a heated outdoor pool, a beautiful garden and walks from the back door. Highly recommend.

The hosts are so lovely and the house and grounds are just beautiful. Breakfast is amazing and you couldn't find a prettier more peaceful location. There are restaurants a short drive away but you can purchase dinner here. We will definitely stay again x .

Our hosts were amazing they made us extremely welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. The farmhouse was lovely and cosy. The facilities were really good with the outdoor pool and jacuzzi both of which we used. Our hosts made us a three course meal on our first night which was lovely, tasty and very welcome. We highly recommend.

We spent a week at La Marmoire exploring the area and relaxing. Most people seem to stay one or two nights en route to or from somewhere else. Corinne and Laurent are the most welcoming hosts. La Marmoire is situated in quiet countryside, the lovely garden with a pool is relaxing way to spend time especially after a day exploring. The breakfasts are typical French croissants, jams, etc and each evening Laurent cooks a delicious three course meal very reasonably priced. We stayed in the ground floor le jardin which led outside onto the pebbled seating area. Corinne and Laurent are charming hosts who made our stay very special and we will certainly return next time we are in that part of France. David and Lynn

An idyllic farmhouse in a secluded location offering a peaceful and welcoming stay. Corinne and Laurent are new owners having taken over I believe in the last 6 months. They were both very welcoming although Laurent didn't speak English and my French consists of very few words so our conversations consisted of me smiling and nodding as Laurent chatted away with the odd word here or there I understood 😆. Fortunately, Corinne spoke much better English than my French! We arrived at 7pm just in time for dinner, which was enjoyed outside as it was such a beautiful evening. The pool looked very welcoming and as we didn't have time to enjoy it that evening, we made the most of it before breakfast the next day. The room (La Terrasse) was lovely and clean. We were lacking large towels but that was an oversight and sorted as soon as I mentioned it. The dinner and continental breakfast were tasty. I would highly recommend it as a wonderful place to stay when in this area.

Stayed here for two nights and had a great time with Corinne and Laurent the owners of the house. The food was excellent and facilities also, there is a pool and hot tub available, and tea and coffee available in the room. The location is quiet and rural , we would stay here again in the future.
