Premier Inn Southampton (Cumberland Place)

Completely surprised by the complete process. Friendly check in , large clean room with all amenities and comfortable bed. Are dinner and breakfast at hotel. Same very pleasant, friendly staff ( Connor) food excellent value and high standard for the cost. Breakfast, excellent selection, fresh self service. Would highly recommend this hotel despite entrance appearance being non descript. Very nice interior and will be booking this hotel for all future visits

I love staying at Cumberland Road Premier Inn. When we visit Southampton Mayflower Theatre we love to book a stop over. We usual go for the meal deal as well and end up with Half Board at a great price. The restaurant is actually quite good at this Premier Inn (not always the case) the food is hot and plentiful. The staff are rushed off their feet but always knowledgeable. I want to give a special mention to Chris who just goes above and beyond and is so friendly. It's lovely to have a member of the waiting staff that takes the extra couple of minutes to show genuine interest in what you say. It's lovely to have a chuckle and a smile! Well done Chris. The bedrooms are always a pleasure. So quiet and comfortable. We actually quite like the new "ask at reception if you want your room cleaned" policy as it means we can relax without waiting for the knock on the door.
