Holiday Inn Blackpool

飯店位置就在車站旁邊，對面也有大型的購物中心及超市，房間空間及設施很棒，唯一的缺憾就是早餐的選擇並不多，這次住了四個晚上每一餐都吃一樣屬於英式的自助早餐，其實吃兩次就膩了，希望早餐的供應可以再國際化再多樣化一些

酒店很乾凈，很新，早餐很豐富，服務也不錯。位置就在黑池北站對面走路即到，出入方便。

First time staying in a Holiday Inn as I normally do Hilton branded hotels due to having the option to choose own room via app and premier inns. Tried my luck checking in around 2:30pm and Jordon happily got me sorted in seconds and given room 109. Staff in whole providing excellent service all round Room of of a good comfortable standard. Room view was excellent with views of the trams coming and going aswell as of Blackpool tower. Room size was acceptable, however could have been built slightly more bigger, however that is more down to my opinion more than anything. Only two negitives I would say is:- Bathroom Is smaller than I'm used to, and Breakfast was slightly disappointing, for example, with the hot plate holding the scrambled egg, there was more liquid in the pot than scrambled egg. with that in mind, I would happily stay here again, just without breakfast.

Had a fantastic stay here,super friendly efficient staff especially Ricky on reception,he was so helpful and went above and beyond. The hotel is spotlessly clean,had a fantastic sleep on the comfortable bed with beautiful linen. The breakfast was fantastic such a superb choice of food and beverage's, the breakfast staff were so helpful as well. I look forward to staying again and I’d definitely recommend it.

I stayed here from Monday 17th June to Thursday 20th 2024. The location is excellent and there is a pull in for 20 minutes to drop off and collect luggage. There is a car park over the road and you get a reduced rate with the hotel. When you walk into your room you won't believe you're in Blackpool! I've been going to Blackpool since I was a kid and at a rate of approx' 3 times per year on solo visits plus other times with family, every year. I love the place and I just enjoy the sea air and walks to switch off. I have stayed in approx' 120 different establishments and that is no exaggeration. What you have to realise with Blackpool is the 'excellent, first class' reviews are written by people who must have lower standards than a snake's belly at home. I've stayed in some holes that I wouldn't even put a dog and I never book anything with low review scores. One place had water dripping into my Full English from above as two people were having relations in the shower and the waitress told me so (I hasten to add that I did not finish my blueberry muffin or sausage when I learnt that),and others where mould was the on the menu of the day in the rooms. I once sat with towels drying on the back of the dining chairs!!! I've complained to Blackpool Enviro' Health many times but nothing ever improves. How the Norbrek is still open amazes me more than how the Blackpool Circus guy doesn't fall off his spinning wheel! I've also stayed in the top end ones, The Imperial is nice but being old I'm heading for Nursing Home territory anyway so need modern and new now. The Big Blue was like an upgraded Premier Inn for double the cost and Hilton was grubby. The only hotel that matches the Holiday Inn is the Boulevard I believe, and I would love to stay there, but as an NHS Mental Health Crisis nurse of 27 years my salary does not meet their room rates, sadly for me! As long as Holiday Inn do not try to increase their rates to the likes of The Boulevard and keep them within reach of ordinary working people like me who like the nice things in life from time to time, then I am sure the hotel will go from strength to strength. I paid approx. £54 per night with breakfast on the pay up front rate in advance, which was a fair price I believe for Blackpool. The staff at the Holiday Inn are absolutely outstanding, so efficient, so pleasant and so accommodating. Every member I met were awesome including the house-keepers who kept my room in its original immaculate state. Due to being old and with a dodgy knee I asked for help with my bags. Freya was so helpful on the way in, and Ricky on the way out. Both with awesome personalities and the widest of smiles. Lovely Elise was equally as helpful and accommodating in the restaurant each morning and highly efficient. I don't drink but had great Starbucks and the staff behind the bar were equally as pleasant and efficient. All staff were smart and clean too, which again, for Blackpool is a Brucie Bonus. The hotel itself is perfect, tasteful modern rooms, the issue i have is with unprofessional reservation and reception staff at the hotel. I had booked for 3 nights but due to work issues could not arrive on the day i planned. I called reservations to let them know i would arrive either very late at night or the next day and wanted to ensure my room would be available to check in when i arrived. I was assured there would not be a problem by the reservation team member, but she could not understand why i felt i needed to call, because of this i called back and got through to the actual hotel to be doubly certain. The team member told me she would write my name on a piece of paper and take it next door to the front desk so they knew i would be arriving the next day and to keep my room. On the day i arrived after a 4 hour drive the receptionist told me my booking had been Cancelled as i was a no show (even though all paid in full in advance) she said they could reactive it but there would be no room available until after 3pm. I tried to explain that i had phoned in advance to advise i would definitely be arriving and the response i got was - maybe reservations did not pass on the message but there is nothing we can do about it as you are a no show on our system. At this point i showed the receptionist my phone with the 17 minutes call log to the hotel from the previous day. the answer was still there is nothing they can do until after 3pm as system has me as a No Show. Basically Computer says No! I tried to explain that in the real world i had phoned in advance and i was here at the hotel and not a No show. At this point i asked to speak to a manager and the response of the receptionist was "Don't shout at Me" i had not been shouting or in any way abusive just repeating the same facts about my booking and phone call. A duty manager did come and after some fuss said he could move some bookings and give me my room, i did get the room i had booked after about 25 minutes in reception, but there was no ownership, no apology for the confusion and the stress it caused me, just repeating that reservations must have not passed on the message. I have booked Holiday Inns worldwide for business and personal use and never had such problems before. I also found that the hotel had charged me an additional £50 on top of the room charge, this apparently is a pre authorisation charge that i was not advised about, 10 days later i am still waiting for a refund having not used any additional hotel services. When i googled Holiday Inn complaints to find the phone number it came up with common complaints for Holiday Inn Unprofessional interactions between hotel staff and customers, for example, rude receptionists Confusions with booking times and booking details Getting overcharged So it seems to be a pattern!

Excellent accommodation, stayed at many IHG hotels. Oliver and restaurant staff , meet and greet reception, facilities , cleanliness and bar staff all very friendly and attentive. In my opinion worth its weighty in gold. Our dog was looked after well. Bed and room superb. Music and singer on our stay. Hotel prices for drinks. Lovely surroundings. Near train and soon to be tram station. Will definitely stay again. Only negative was car parking expensive in multi storey.

We have stayed in several Blackpool hotels and watched this one being built so we thought it would be nice to give it a try. So pleased we did! The hotel is well laid out, handy location near railway station, town, theatres and sea front. But best part of all is the welcome, homely feeling and kind and friendly staff. Also have to mention comfortable clean, airconditioned rooms with best beds and pillows ever. Lovely toiletries and thick large towels. Public areas are great for spending time if the weather not altogether friendly. Breakfast has everything anyone could wish for. What is not to like? Only thing for me....wondering whether to give this review or keep it quiet so better chance of accommodation next time we visit. Huge thanks to all the helpful, kind and friendly staff.
