Our Stay was ”OK” There is nothing really special about this ”Hotel” to call it a Resort when I arrived my room was not ready. I was told they would text me when it was ready. an hour and a half later after taking a walk I was sitting in the lobby and saw someone come in ask about the rates for the night and get a room and a key right away. After they were finished with this person I went up and asked if my room was ready... Ohhh yes it is... (Hmm no text) Poor Service. Entering the room it was a regular room with a balcony on the second floor. however I quickly found out that anytime someone in rooms around me flushed a toilet the drain in the bathtub gurgled and some items in the room seemed to be old and not updated. I usually stay at Marriott hotels but because Nelson does not have one I thought that this would be comparable. Marriott is better !! The ONLY thing that this room had going for it was the balcony and the view of the Nelson harbor. I did not find the value at this location. It should not have the word RESORT in its name.

GGardiner WPerhaps not the most modern BW property but snug and comfortable and situated on Nelson's main drag Baker Street (at the quiet end). Handy self parking across the street. Rooms comfy. TV offerings good - unlike Mr Marriott where I often stay, BW has a much better viewing package including BC's Knowledge Network and US based PBS (not zillions of sports channels like the other guys). Nicely equipped gym. Very freindly and accomodating staff. Prices reasonable for such a quality property especially if booked in advance.

This stay is ranked high for all my hotel stays. We booked the handicap accessible room, and it was great. Grab bars in the bathroom, walk in shower, excellent! Lots of room in the bathroom meaning we could use the mobility walker and turn around. Breakfast the next morning was provided by Rickys Grill next door.

PPengguna TetamuThe beds were superb for comfort. Room was clean. Bathroom was spotless. A bit of routine maintenance needed for a leaking bath tub faucet and the inside of the sink overflow drain should be sanitized and cleaned out. Plenty of hot water! Our keycard had to be replaced twice due to none function. Certainly would stay again.

MMcCrackenUntuk harga hotel ini saya sangat berpuas hati. Perkhidmatan bukanlah semua yang boleh dilakukan, mungkin kerana terdapat hanya seorang di meja depan. Dia terlalu bekerja. Itu dikatakan dia cekap. Saya memerlukan perkhidmatan bilik akhirnya menyerah kerana dia terlalu sibuk. Selain daripada itu, ia adalah sama dengan tempat dua kali ganda harga. Dairy Queen dekat sini juga.

GGary MWhen we checked in, Simi was very kind and helpful explaining about special attractions and sites along with maps and brochures. We stayed in a queen bed that had a full kitchen (which we thoroughly enjoyed) July 5-9, then overnight in a king bed with a fridge and microwave July 13-14. We loved both kinds of rooms, but the king bed room location was more quiet. The last morning, we inadvertently left our tea towels drying (one of the towels being sentimental) I don't why i took a good tea towel on holidays. I phoned, talked to Simi and asked about the towels. Simi checked with the cleaning person and yes we had left the towels in our room at the hotel. Simi went above and beyond her job duties and took the time to go to the post office, package the towels and mailed them to me C.O.D. which i was so grateful. Thank you Simi for your kindness. We would definitely stay again. Rooms are good and prices are fine. Yes it is not a 5*, but the staff is 5* plus, especially Simi. Thank you again, Cheryl Magus
