Quirky but nice hotel in a renovated building. Staff was very nice and our suite room on floor 1 was clean and fresh. The location was great and you can walk all around the town center which has an abundance of shops and restaurants. Be prepared fro a long wait for check in and check out unless you are coming or leaving an an off time. The staff is competent enough, but they didn't provide ample space for the reception area when they did the renovation, and it Becks up very quickly. If also seems they are having some issues with their reservation system, as they were asking everyone to pay when they arrived and when they left, and everyone was telling them they prepaid. Ultimately we didn't see any double payments on our CC so there was not issue. Would still come back.

Séjour très agréable , personnels souriant et à l'écoute, chambre spacieuse et décoration moderne . Le buffet petit déjeuner et correcte et le restaurant excellent à testé. Au niveau du spa il est bien juste le bassin et pas très grand . C'est dommage qu'il y a que 45 minutes par séjour ont devrait pouvoir en profiter plus pour un 5 étoiles.

Good location if you need to be near the Dijon SNCF train station, an easy 5 min walk even with luggage. Another 5-10 mins walk to the key attractions & shopping in Dijon old town.
Some delay in checking in but Romain at the front desk was extremely helpful.

Отличный отель. Локация одна из лучших, весь исторический центр в шаговой доступности. Есть небольшие вопросы к кровати, нам не удалось найти номер с двумя раздельными, а большая кровать не очень удобно расположена в номерах на 5-м этаже. Парковка - 15€ в сутки
Внизу отличный бар. Дизайн отеля современный и очень стильный!

We have been staying at Hostellerie Chapeau Rouge for over 20 years to break our journey down to the south of France. It is conveniently located in the centre of Dijon. The hotel and rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff are exceptional - they are polite, efficient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. There is secure overnight parking for an additional charge which is very useful for us.

PPengguna TetamuReally well appointed hotel,very modern.It’s situated north of Dijon which seems a bit out of the way on first impression but there is a cheap and regular tram service the T2 and the stop Pole Sante a few minutes from the hotel and there is the Toison d’ Or ,a vast shopping complex with everything under one roof,which is a 15/20minute walk or few minutes drive away.The rooms are very good,we had 106 on the first floor,maybe needs a few more electrical sockets,but the facilities in the room are very good,we have say a big thanks to the receptionist on duty when we turned up at lunch time and asked if our room was ready(The check in time is 4.00pm).She was very helpful and said she will attempt to get our room ready asap,possibly around 2.00pm,so we walked over to the shopping complex,again thanks to her for the directions,to kill time and we were glad we did,it’s got a food court so finding lunch was easy.She also advised us about the tram details,where to catch it etc.She really went out of her way to help us. There is a secure gated car park accessed by a code given at reception. We will certainly return when we are in the area but this time stick to the 4.00pm check in! This is one of the best Kyriads,not far behind the one in Troyes.

We booked this hotel mainly for its proximity to the station. We were able to wheel our suitcases from the station to this hotel across the street. (be careful for asking directions as there are two Kyriads and we were initially sent to the wrong one). For a no frills station hotel: The rooms were actually bigger than expected, and were clean and quiet, the breakfast was pretty good, the reception was initially a little spicy but then very helpful, with good recommendations. All in all an enjoyable stay. Dijon was lovely.

JjscottishTravelling by car to south of Spain so influenced by hotels which provide secure parking. This hotel is adequate. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very basic but clean. We stayed on Sunday night - very difficult to find somewhere open to eat. Hotel has no restaurant but serves a good breakfast in a snack bar area - the lady who served breakfast was also very pleasant and helpful. Good for an overnight stop.

Similar to a previous reviewer I’m having to sleep in the car as the hotel could not give me the room I reserved. After driving 12 hours I arrived with two children to the hotel at 10pm to be told the 3 single bed room I booked on HRS and was confirmed as booked is not available and only a double bed is available. I could have booked a two bed for much cheaper elsewhere but paid a premium for the three beds. As I could not find anywhere else to book at 10pm I had to give the room to my children and sleep in the car. Thomas on reception was no help, he gave no ideas to resolve and was quite rude. I mentioned he could call head office or a manager, or move a mattress into the room, or find another hotel to transfer me to, or give me two rooms for price of one. He refused to even consider any of these options, saying it was too late to call anyone or do anything (I think he was going home at 11pm) and he had no authority to do anything (but also said he was the manager) I had paid 85euros+tax for the room. His only offer was another room for 100euros! More expensive than the one I had already booked! He even offered 10% off to take it to 90 which I took as him making a joke. Avoid this hotel, they seem to have a broken booking system and no customer service. Car park was locked on arrival and had to wait for another guest to use their code to let me in. At least it was secure to sleep in the car for the night. A complaint to Louvre Hotels has resulted in them shifting the blame to HRS but this doesn’t resolve the rude service and no help to solve the problem on the night leaving a family to work out how to sleep in a car.

I always stay here and will continue to do so - but there is a decline in standards. On my last two stays the toilet was stained and not well cleaned, wallpaper had been ripped away in places, property of previous occupants was still in the room and there were broken tiles in the shower room. A slip in standards that could easily be rectified. The location of this Hotel and the friendly staff mean I will continue to use it regularly, but dont let it slip further.

This has got to be one of the worst hotels I have ever spent time at. First of all there are no humans to help you with your check in its all done by a self service screen so if you have any problems or queries there's no chance in anyone helping you. As for the room I'm sure prisoners have got bigger cells than what we were given for 2 adults and a 12 year old. The shower toilet and sink was completely horrendous and was about the same size as a port-a-loo (portable toilet) and was given 3 hand towels for 3 people to shower with. There was no facilities in the room to make a simple tea or coffee not even a glass to have a drink from. The bed was uncomfortable the shutter at window was jammed the door didn't lock properly I could go on for hours. Don't waste your money on the breakfast my dog gets better fed than what was offered we ended up leaving and spending more money at McDonald's.

Good location as everyone says BUT room was tiny and the bathroom so small you had to sit sideways on the toilet. Mould on the grout in the bathroom plus badly stained from previous use. Bedsheets felt sticky (too much starch?). To get to the unventilated breakfast room you had to walk through the pool area, everything smelt of chlorine. One lift that all the staff were using so waited an age to get up or down. Paid a lot more for this twin room than in other far superior places.

Booked here for 3 nights. I'm disabled so asked for a room close to reception when booking and they confirmed they put me in a room close to reception. The Satnav took me to the wrong location but I found it in the end and parked in the disabled bay. Check in was easy, paid local tax of I think £3.72 and my room was the first one from reception which was perfect. Rooms looked old but he been renovated and was clean. Bathroom and shower ok and bed was comfy. WiFi was strong and free with no password required. Restaurant was busy so definitely book in advance but they did fit me in on the first night. Food was very good. Menu abit small maybe 5 mains but I dined twice there and had entrecote steak with chimichuro sauce and a separate bowl of salad and chips. Steak with nice and the sauce was good. I also had three local cheeses for dessert and they were great. I also had a small beer and a small red wine and the bill came to €45 which wasn't bad. The second time I had salmon lasagna which was actually very tasty. I think that was €16.50. John in reception was helpful as well as all the restaurant staff. My only ****** was they use paper cups for making hot drinks in your room instead of a proper cup. Besides that I didn't try the pool but it looked clean and tidy. It was busy when I stayed as their was a coach tour booked in. Would stay again.
