Walisons Hotel

The hotel is situated strategically although very close to Dal Lake but a bit inside to avoid traffic noise. Very well maintained. Amazing staff, Sajad bhai, abid, Rafiq, Manzoor (super chef). Very personalised treatment, I think that is ingrained Kashmiri mehmaan nawazi! Overall amazing experience!

The hotel staff was not professional. Hotel room was not worth the money they charged. Hotel location is near dal lake but it's located in a narrow alley. Much better options available where dal lake view is visible. I will not be staying in this hotel if I return to Srinagar.

Manager Mr Sajad and Mr Sahid’s treatment is appreciable. In the restaurant, Mr Munzoor, Mr Rafiq and Mr Aabid service and hospitality are excellent Please keep up this momentum Breakfast and Masala tea quality is excellent Hotel employees service is applauded

Loved my stay at Walison's. Clean spacious rooms equipped with modern amenities, skilled and polite staff, excellent location just next to Dal lake, very good food and excellent hospitality made my stay a memorable one. Special mention goes to Shajjad bhai who is always willing to help. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Beautiful WALISONS HOTEL and GRACIOUS SAJJAD BHAI We have just completed 9 days family tour of Kashmir. We have stayed in this hotel in two phases: Check in: 10.05.2024; Check out: 14.05.2024 Check in: 17.05.2024; Check out: 18.05.2024 Total : 5 nights From the beginning of booking, I was interacting with Sajjad Bhai. We were 3 adults. So Sajjad Bhai advised me to take 1 family room consist of two double bed. I accepted it without any hesitation. Immediately I booked the room paying an advance. Since then, I was in touch with Sajjad Bhai. Anytime I called him, he cleared my doubts smoothly. When I checked in, I was greeted warmly by Sajjad Bhai and other staff too. I was so happy to see the room no: 116, which were allotted to us. It was highly impressive. Overall hotel is very neat and clean. This is an apt hotel for family. This hotel has ample car parking with uninterrupted power back up. This hotel is just few steps away from Dal lake gate no: 2. The most important part of this hotel is, they have a dedicated restaurant. Food quality is just awesome. They have varieties in menu from which we used order of our choice. Chef MANZOOR BHAI himself is a dynamic COOK. He can cook so many dishes in the art of Yummy and delightful tastes. Once we got a taste of Chicken Rogan Josh the flavor of Kashmiri dish. Besides, MANZOOR BHAI is articulate Cook and understands what exactly customer wants for their tastes. SAJJAD BHAI and MANZOOR BHAI are two pillars of WALISONS HOTEL. Other staff is also equally good and cooperative. People those who are looking for good hotel in Srinagar, they can go ahead for WALISONS HOTEL without any hesitation. A very nice Hotel with best location, staff, and good hospitality. Room was very spacious and clean. Thanks to Mr. Sajad for taking care of everything.

Was travelling with family and the offer by manager Mr.Sajaf of family room with 2 king size beds was what made us pick this hotel, ofcourse after seeing the earlier reviews and and they way in which Mr.Sajad talked.And after reaching the place, which we checked in at around 10 am, we found it extremely convenient for our family with two kids 14 n 13.. Restaurant offers good food, but as main chef was on leave , I think Mr Abid was running the show all alone and was doing every justice to his job..Overall ,the staff was polite, (MrShahid at front office was so soft spoken and humble ) and helpful.Walisons hotel is a very safe place, very near to dal Lake (50mtrs or so) and offers convenient stay.. Appreciate Mr.Sajad and his team and all the best for future..

The cuisines are very nice with a wonderful decorations , it was worth a bite. Prepared by chief Manzoor. Great hospitality by Abid Hossain. Amazing ambiance. Wonderful at depicting Kashmiri calinary. Worth a visit surrounded greenery.

Location is near dal lake but inside a road so no view. We booked deluxe room and it was very small. Bathrooms are small too. It’s old property. Rooms smell of wood. They don’t serve buffet breakfast instead they give it in room only. Totally disappointed for money paid. Not worth the money spent. There are other really good new hotels in dal to book.
