We had the fortune of finding this place by looking at the good reviews across all platforms. Mr Riyaz truly took care of us with every bit of the itinerary tailored to our preferences. The food, ambiance and hospitality were top notch. Nothing like the taste of home cooked food. We really appreciate Mr Riyaz's honesty where he saved us a lot of trouble and making sure our entire trip was seamless.

The houseboat was charming with a view of the fort and the lily pads. Our host Riyaz took care of every detail and Akram took very good care of us, supplying many meals and delicious tea. The bathroom needs some updating, but otherwise all the rooms very clean.

Beautiful location and very humble people had an amazing time . The care taker was sweet and helpful.Riyaz the owner is super helpful and made our trip comfortable by giving us cab services with a reliable driver who in turn guided us around.

I felt amazing in this house boat the service and hospitality was wonderful. I suggest everyone to visit and take experience of house both. The whole staff was so helpful and like a family. Also I must say that the food was amazing 😍. U feel like home in kashmir if u visit this beautiful houseboat.

Everything is nice but I personally like the furniture the fact that everything is made up of walnut wood is completely mind-blowing. Food is really tasty and delicious and the service is good as well . The overall feel of this houseboat luxurious!

We have visited kashmir first time in life and we have choosen to stay last two nights of our trip in this houseboat called Dilshad Houseboat , we felt like homely stay special the food they serve here was so elegantly delicious. Rooms are net and clean and spacious with every facility like air conditioner and tea maker. *overall Services was the best and supportive If i have to rate out of 10 i will give 10. *View from the deck is amazing while having a cup of traditional tea with beautiful sunset View

Honestly writing this review about Dilshad Houseboats that when I and my family entered this place, the expression of all of us was jaw dropped WOW. I mean seriously, I had not imaged that Mr. Rafiq and his family has kept this houseboat in a superb condition, whereas the same is made in 1951. Yes its older than 70 years but yet have a worth. Further, this houseboat is located in Nigeen Lake & the view of Hari Parvat (fort) it offers from deck is mesmerizing. Food was superb and Mr. Akram served us very well through out our stay. Mr. Abid s/o Mr. Rafiq has felt our stay like a home. Services and management was also up to the mark.

Dilshad Houseboat experience. Excellent lodging & boarding with the amazing food and the people here were very cooperative and helpful... The night Sikara ride was excellent... And the view from boat was amazing. Akram care taker was helpful... Highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay at Houseboat.

Highly recommended houseboat to stay in Srinagar. Comfortable stay, awesome view with good food and clean place. We were treated like a family member here, people were very helpful and kind in nature. A standout thing about this houseboat is that it is not kept close to other houseboats which let you enjoy the good views from the place.
