Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di St. Julian＇s

It’s definitely not a 5 star hotel. It’s old and grey. Breakfast is a mess, swimming pool is full of people and difficult to get sun beds there. The beach is way to small for the capacity of the hotel. The hotel itself is quite old and it’s located on a busy street, but that’s all. No sea view and the construction ne t door is very loud. The reception desk was fine and we got 2h additional before we check in, because we got to the hotel earlier - that’s a plus. Besides, I would not recommend it.

Nice location if one is looking for a seaside holiday. Quiet, peaceful with lovely views of the sea. If one is looking for a location that is easy to travel around, then staying at Valletta might be more convenient as the bus and main ferry terminal is situated there. However, if one is touring by car / taxi then the consideration where the bus terminal is would be less important. Filling breakfast (though it doesn’t vary very much from day to day) and serves its function of filling one up for the start of the day! Rooms are neat and tidy, some areas show wear and tear but does not affect the overall functionality of the room. Good and clean comfy beds. Excellent service by the hotel staff who made the stay enjoyable. We unfortunately had an accident with the sliding bathroom door but the hotel staff did their best to make the rest of our stay as worry-free as possible.

Fantastica esperienza. L'hotel è molto bello, le camere ben pensate e con tutti i comfort, il servizio è impeccabile e la posizione comodissima per i trasporti. Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante Cabana e ci siamo trovate benissimo. Ho un'amica intollerante al glutine e si è trovata molto bene, sia a colazione che a cena. È stato un peccato scoprire che il radio rooftop, il ristorante Luciano e le la spa non fossero ancora accessibili, ma questo non ha comunque compromesso il nostro soggiorno. Un ringraziamento speciale va ad Halil per la sua accoglienza amichevole e ad Adriana per il suo servizio impeccabile al ristorante, sempre sorridente e attenta.

Absolutely amazing stay at hotel Scirocco , the perfect location to explore Malta, With amazing restaurants surrounding you. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, always someone on reception greeting you as you left and came back. The rooms were very modern and clean when we arrived. We were very surprised that there was a cleaner every in our room everday, changing the sheets, emptying the bins and providing new towels which we were very grateful for. The pool was small but was never overcrowded, you are able to use their sister hotel just on the next street but we didn’t feel like we needed to. We didn’t choose to add on the breakfast but you can tell all the food was very fresh and smelt amazing everyday. Please don’t listen to any of the reviews regarding noise, the street is quiet where the hotel is and we didn’t hear a peep all night. We will definitely be back💕💕

We checked in on the 4th July for a week and were thoroughly impressed with their exceptional customer service from the get go. Paul, who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. He even went to the lengths of helping my partner choose a spot to propose at. Vanessa and Sergio both provided us with detailed recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. They were just genuinely nice staff. Hotel: Housekeeping maintained the room impeccably, we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. Levantes pool is small. However, you can access Mistral with the larger pool and rooftop bar and Scirocco which has the gym. All are equally clean and enjoyable. Our room was great, however we found there wasn’t much storage. There was a rail and a drawer which we found wasn’t ideal for a week’s stay if you want to unpack. A chair would be appreciated in the room in order to sit at the desk. Breakfast: The breakfast is manned by Sergio, who is fantastic. The presentation and variety each morning was more than enough. There were always fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, cereal etc. There are also hot options, such as bacon, sausage, eggs and beans that you can request. Location: Levante is located directly opposite a newly built Mercury shopping district. There is a large supermarket called Welbee’s 2 minute walk away. This is also where the majority of buses stop. We aren’t party people, but to say we were next door to Paceville we didn’t experience any noise issues and could easily avoid it when out. There is something for everyone in St Julian’s. We didn’t have any issues trying to find a restaurant or somewhere for lunch. Although, I would recommend booking in peak seasons. The airport is around 20 minute drive away and inexpensive in a Bolt taxi. A massive thank you to Sergio, Luis and Vanessa for the cake and message in our room to celebrate our engagement. We recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back in the future.
