It was a great experience and the front desk staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is more lighting.

We were greeted with fresh baked sweets, and the hotel manager checked in and messaged twice during our 1 week stay to ensure we had no complaints and had everything we needed. The facilities are SO clean, and the location is insanely convenient; right on the water. In house restaurant is easily in the top 5 places to eat in downtown St. John's.

Gorgeous hotel, very clean and cozy. We are from away so enjoyed the location as we could walk and explore. Staff were all kind but not overly friendly.

King bed was incredibly uncomfortable, it was a 5 night stay and on the 3rd day called front desk and they didnt even try to change rooms for us. Stated all beds were the same and was very dismissive....even though beds wear differently depending on use, weight of people using them and even the size of the bed itself.

The Doubletree exceeded my expectations. Nice, clean rooms with lovely rain showers. I opted for a Harbourview room which was beautiful but there is some early morning noise from forklifts etc working on the docks. Staff was great, I only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was very good and the coffees were amazing. Great, walkable area. Would stay again!

The onsite restaurant only being open certain hours was not helpful during a snowstorm. Also the cleaning crew did not make the bed properly or notify me of the laundry drop off requirements.
