Stayed here for a business trip. Firstly my room was lovely and spacious! huge bed, balcony looking over the Thames and a great breakfast with so much choice. Staff were lovely and welcoming and had no issues parking. Really clean and a lovely bar area. Would stay again

The hotel staff were friendly and tried to help but being over worked with shortage of staff during the festive period. The hotel is in the middle of the town centre , first impression , rubbish and dirty entrance . This was a family stay , having paid extra to check in early we waited almost an hour , with just one staff member working the shift. Rooms were comfortable and reasonably clean. However, one of the bedrooms had a terrible smell of drains coming from the bathroom with Premier plus rooms right above on 4th floor, noisy with children allowed to run till late hours at night. At breakfast a few items of food were missing, we were told due to lack of deliveries . The restaurant is fairly clean but not of high standards.

Pub Review – The Swan – Staines On Thames. Berkshire I aimed to book into the Swan as it is as much hotel as bar, but sadly it was fully booked so I ended up the dreadful Boleyn’s across the road. I did pop over to The Swan for my evening meal and ale, which were terrific. Though crowded, with a pending wedding and many staying there for Ascot week at the races nearby, the service standard was excellent, with a lovely conservatory dining area leading out to a riverside terrace. The food was nicely presented and I had a lovely relaxed unhurried experience before my return to the less than impressive accommodation I had. The Swan has a great range of real ales too.

Breakfast should have been served until 10 am. We got into the restaurant 9.15 and there was hardly anything left, One spoonful of scrambled egg which I had to gather from around the pan for my husband - none for me, no bacon, no sausage, no hash brown or tomato. They did have beans!! Having asked and waited, we got a bit of bacon and some sausages that were so hard we could hardly cut them!! Then , at 10am they asked us to leave the room because they had to get it ready for something else. Our bedroom was ok but there was a skylight in the roof and the sun came flooding in just after 4 am so I didn’t sleep. Waste of time having black out curtains at the window when you don’t cover the skylight. The teaspoons on the dressing table had not been washed. The shower was nice but the water came out all over the floor - our friends had the same in their room. All in all not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay there again. I did mention all of this to the reception guy but he just smiled at me. Not sure if he spoke English!

Great place to stay! I just left and feel kind of empty now!🥲 I will definitely miss this place, it has it all! Good location, nice atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and above all, excellent front desk service!😁😁👍👍 The rooms are super clean, and comfortable! They have electric heaters, TV and tea amenities 🍵 The location might represent a challenge if not willing to spend 30-40 mins to get to downtown and admire the landscape! I personally loved the trips to downtown! I kinda felt like a local going to work every morning! ☀️ I will definitely stay here with my family next time! 13/10
