RRickAh, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel.
The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes.
The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk.
A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out.
Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember.
In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

PPengguna Tetamu酒店很好，很乾凈，很安靜，房間也大，還有自己可以燒菜的廚房間，唯一不足的就是毛巾等洗漱用品，垃圾等都是要自己放房門口，清潔員不進門打掃的，換毛巾要與總台說才來換。早餐也不錯

PPengguna Tetamu整體還可以，畢竟價格不便宜。但這個服務態度是真的不怎麼樣，説話聲音小吧，再問一遍就不願搭理了。第二天請前台幫忙預訂去機場的車，前一天晚上定好早上6:50的，結果早上這個時間去了還是同一個前台卻説你剛又沒説，以為你不要了，然後又重新等了22分鐘，且價格是我們從機場打車過來的兩倍！

PPengguna TetamuWas looking for a hotel close to comedy show and low and behold it was in the same hotel. So it worked out great for us after checking in went to dinner came back relaxed for 45 min. Then went down stairs to comedy factory. We had free coupons for breakfast but we decided to venture out on our way back to Richmond. Overall nice place to stay found out they also shuttle for cruises out of this hotel too.

典型的美式早餐，品種不多，雞蛋，麵包和水果絕對能吃飽，服務員態度特別好。每周三晚上可以享受一頓免費的晚餐，提供稀有的蔬菜色拉，意外之喜。大堂有24小時的免費咖啡和熱水，根據需要自行取用。
客房服務有一天沒有提供洗臉毛巾，在攜程客服的溝通下，後面幾天有了很大的改進。有一天晚上馬桶突然堵住，不過樓層服務人員和維修人員及時來做了疏通，沒有對居住造成影響。總體來說，推荐居住。

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is just across the road from the convention center. It was clean, safe, friendly and had every amenity I was looking for. I had to book very last minute after a cancellation elsewhere and was thrilled to get a clean, nicely air conditioned room with everything I needed. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Baltimore
