Cari Hotel 4-Star di Lhasa

This is by a long way the best hotel I have stayed in , in Tibet. Love the ”Manor” feel, at the same time homely. The rose garden which decorates Lakari cafe ia a lovely place to eat, relax, wind down. Food & service excellent. There are in addition two other restaurant on site, serving authentic Chinese & Tibetian food, yum. DURING a qord in the garden, I notice birds churping and hunting worms on the lawn ! Rooms takes on a modern Tibetian style, everything works & impeccably clean. Staff are v warm, helpful, even helped w my washing, offered to show me around on her day off. A most enjoyable stay. Tops all otherss I have stayed in Tibet.

Beautiful hotel that still preserves its historical architecture with modern luxuries. We enjoyed the heated floor (it's so comfortable to walk around) and the oxygen machine (a lifesaver when we just reached Lhasa!). Special thanks to Guest Service staff - 次塔 for coordinating breakfast and housekeeping with us throughout our stay, and for helping to safekeep our forgotten item when we checked out! Her warm hospitality helped us ease into the high altitude environment more easily! Oh and don't forget to try the Indian restaurant within the hotel - it's extremely delicious and the price is affordable! We hope to return soon!

一進大廳辦理入住就看到有人在前台抽煙 煩死了 而且就是對着前台服務人員抽 三個前台服務人員沒有一個稍微制止一下 明明牆上寫明瞭禁止吸煙的牌子 能不能讓我們這些聞不了煙味的顧客 稍微住的舒心一點？ 而且房間裏也沒有做無煙處理 這是我第一次住亞多酒店聞到房間裏有煙燻味道 要不是當天已經極度疲憊了加上我行李特別多 我一定會要求換一個房間

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, close to everything, and the property itself is modern, stylish, and very comfortable. The views were truly amazing and made the stay even more special. The only area that could be improved was breakfast — while the options were good, it did feel a bit crowded at times and the variety could have been better. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.

酒店位置很好，旁邊就是八廓街，環境非常好，小院子非常漂亮，樓上的露台可以欣賞到布達拉宮。前台玉珍小姐姐和安保嘎瑪小哥哥人特別好，幫我升級了大床房，送行李到門口，還詳細介紹了酒店的各種活動和房間內的設施怎麼使用。鼻吸式供氧很新，來西藏第一次睡了個好覺。走前等車的時候，另一個前台小姐姐還讓我在院子裏坐着休息給我準備了甜茶。下次再來拉薩一定還會再來這裏住❤️

Pengalaman saya menginap di hotel ini memang sangat memuaskan dari awal hingga akhir. Proses daftar masuk sangat cekap dan mesra, tidak sampai tiga minit pun. Prosedurnya ringkas, profesional, dan tiada langkah-langkah yang rumit. Staf meja depan dengan sabar mengesahkan maklumat, dan dengan suara yang lembut, menjelaskan tentang syarat-syarat penginapan, waktu daftar keluar, waktu sarapan, dan lokasi tempat makan. Mereka juga terperinci dalam menerangkan pelbagai perkhidmatan percuma yang disediakan oleh hotel, termasuk air minum percuma, penyimpanan bagasi, perkhidmatan dobi, perkhidmatan letak kereta, air panas 24 jam, ruang rehat umum, dan WiFi percuma. Memandangkan saya adalah pelancong dari luar kawasan, mereka juga proaktif memberikan panduan perjalanan di sekitar kawasan, menunjukkan dengan jelas pintu masuk tempat letak kereta dan lokasi lif. Pada masa yang sama, mereka dengan sabar mengingatkan saya tentang perkara-perkara yang perlu diberi perhatian semasa bergerak di kawasan tempatan. Sepanjang interaksi, kelajuan percakapan mereka adalah sederhana dan teratur, tanpa sedikit pun tanda tidak sabar, menunjukkan profesionalisme yang tinggi dalam setiap perincian.

Location of Potala Fontoo cannot be better, walking distance to Potala Palace as well as Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. Although the hotel does not own its restaurant, there are ample eateries nearby.  The Airport bus terminus is only 50m from hotel's back door!

The hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage. The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app. There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.

As a state-owned hotel in Lhasa, this property’s main advantage is its proximity to Norbulingka, though it is relatively far from most other major attractions in the city. The reception staff were not particularly welcoming, which made the overall service feel somewhat impersonal. The hotel building itself is set back quite a distance from the roadside entrance, resulting in a quieter atmosphere. This, combined with the surrounding garden, does create a reasonably tranquil environment—one of the few positive aspects of the stay. The included breakfast was acceptable but unremarkable, and the room view was similarly average, without anything particularly memorable.
