Premier Inn Stockton-on-Tees (Preston Farm)

This is a Premier Inn and you get what you usual get with the brand. Clean and comfortable. Nice pub food next door. Convenient location just off the A66. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel , parking and location great , staff very friendly and a great breakfast in the morning, would definitely be back

The hotel is very basic and tired. The main problem is not the hotel but the Brewers Fayre next door. Premier Inn do not advise that the bar closes at 9 pm on Sundays and 9.30 weekdays. This seems to be down to the manager’s discretion. When we questioned the closing hours his reply was” what does the till say” If you don’t like it there’s another pup up the road. The bar cleanliness was deplorable. Empty glasses and beer stains on every table with no staff interest to clean. When the staff finished their shift, they sat around drinking. This was frowned upon by Whitbread in the past. All in all a horrible bar.

Great hotel, stayed here on and off for most of the year with work. Plenty of safe free parking always spaces available. Rooms are always clean and the staff are always very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Especially JAY 😀

been a fan and user of premier inns for many years for both leisure and business travel. Always been happy till this experience which was pretty awful. Common areas / Corridors were smelly and grubby and breakfast table was sticky and needed a good clean. Not much choice of seating as several tables were reserved (more later) Breakfast food was OK but a bit disorganised and the ambiance was not good and we were suprised when we were surrounded by what we believe were a number of asylum seeker families and single men. No prior warning or advice from any of the hotel staff was given !! - we soon found out that was why the tables were reserved. We will not be back!!!

I arrived late evening (around 10pm). Sam gave me a very warm welcome and was very helpful. Showed me where the decaff coffee and extra milk was. Room very clean and bed was very comfortable. Lovely breakfast in the morning..stayed for 2 nights.

Back again to this hotel. Stayed a couple of times before, the first time being in 2021. The stay was for a bit of quality time out with the family that was easy to arrange and without having to spend a fortune. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well equipped with friendly staff. The lack of air con wasn't an issue as the temperatures were down anyway, but can make for a detraction from 100% comfort at night during warmer weather. We knew there was no air con and it is made clear on the website. Always stay in Premiers for a short break and our experiences in this particular hotel are at the top of all of the Premiers we've stayed in.

I stayed here for two nights in late May. I was impressed with the staff on reception who were friendly and happy to have a chat. The room itself was excellent and really excellent value (I have stayed in inferior Premier Inns at double the price). Internet worked ok (no need to upgrade to the 'ultimate' - which should come as standard anyway!) I had breakfast on one morning and the food was decent enough, although the service a little lacklustre with no 'Good morning' or smiley face on offer! Convenient, but not great value. The hotel is very easy to find and I had no problems car parking. All in all, I would definitely stay here again but would probably skip breakfast.

We booked this hotel to stay at after we had been to see Take That at the Riverside. Lovely hotel, easy to find and only about 6 miles away from where we needed to be. (The taxi service we used were fantastic too Royal Cars). Our room was lovely and clean Nd much bigger than I expected. The bed was so so comfy and I had the best night's sleep once we got back. Staff were friendly and helpful.
