Clean, spacious and cosy rooms with all amenities provided. Friendly and helpful staff. Helped with housekeeping in spite of the fact that the venue was not providing housekeeping due to a public holiday. Close to the town centre. Highly recommended.

We stayed in one of the two dedicated pet friendly rooms. It was super practical with tiled floors. Outdoor area for the morning wee. Pet feeding mat and bowl, poop bags supplied. Then the human supplies were not amiss either. Can highly recommend this super clean and super luxurious convenient accommodation. We will never forget this place and will recommend whenever we get the chance.

We have stayed here many times and its hard to find new words to describe the Strath Motel, it is simply one of if not the best motel in South Australia. Every other motel owner needs to visit the Strath Motel to learn how to run a motel. Just saying it is excellent is not doing it justice. We have stayed many times and will continue to do so.

Booked 5 rooms in the motel in February 2024, were told the room rate and paid a $50 deposit for each room. On arrival we were charged $10 per night extra and when we queried this we were told they can vary the price at there discretion. We received a welcome email 2 days before the stay and no mention of a price increase. Never in my travels all over the world have I had this happen, I am very disappointed in this action and will never stay or recommend to stay at this motel.

Really comfortable with beautifully clean rooms and plenty of space, (and lots of power points, which are frequently in short supply!) Nothing was too much trouble, we felt welcomed! We enjoyed exploring the beautiful town of Strathalbyn. Nice bottle of wine, too.

The motel is perfectly fine but I left a little disappointed in that I was charged $10 more than the agreed rate at time of booking and having paid my $50 deposit. Yes, on the confirmation it states that prices can increase without notification however I find this quite an unfair business practice to be enacted without consultation and not be given the choice to proceed or otherwise, and cannot remember a time where I have been charged more than what was agreed on the initial booking. I have discussed this issue with the Motel business manager but all to no avail. My advice is just be prepared for terms and conditions to be enacted without consultation at this motel.

Service, service and service. I was in an easy access room which completely met my need. Broke a glass bottle of milk in less than 5 mins staff were there and cleaned up - no stress and made it safe. The gardens were delightful. I will be back. I would recommend the venue. The gardens where in bloom attracting many birds.

Rooms are a good size and everything was clean and modern. Off street parking with nice gardens. Staff friendly and helpful. One of the nicer motels we have stayed in . Would Recommend.
