Hotel berhampiran Lowe's Garden Center, Stuart

When reviewing this property, it appears that you are staying at a well run Marriott resort, but we were not impressed. Our room in the Sandpiper had been updated, which is what the online pictures reflected. The pillows were as fluffy as the bath towels and even though you are provided two, it makes no difference. The dishwasher in the room could not even open all the way due to the way the kitchen area was set up which didn’t allow us to load the large plates in the dishwasher. We ate at the Sandpiper bar area for lunch twice. The first time, the service and the food was terrible. They brought us two separate entrees because they weren’t sure what we ordered. Our drinks were not refilled. My cheeseburger cheese had been visibly scraped off and my son’s chicken fingers were not cooked all the way through. At the pool, another day, we attempted to order a drink and chips and salsa at 5:00 but were told since they were closing at 5:30, there was no way this could happen. The second time we ate lunch at the bar, Marriott executives were present, eating lunch at the bar, and it was a vastly different experience. All of the employees were in their uniforms and we were checked on, asked if our food came out correctly, and our drinks were refilled. Each room is only allotted two beach chairs and an umbrella, which is not included in the resort fee. We are a family of four, so this was annoying. The next day we went to the beach at 10:30, there was no one at the beach rental area. They returned at 11:30 and they allowed us to rent four chairs the next day, which was a good change! The pool is dirty along the wall of chairs with old goldfish crackers and overall needs a good cleaning. All in all, we will not be back to this resort. It was very disappointing for the amount we paid each day to stay at this maximum three star experience.

Love the location was next to the Sandhill crane park for my boyfriends family reunion the breakfast was delicious and the customer service was quick and fast

Very good and clean, close to La Tradizione very nice area with shop and dinners. Just the receptionist was not too prepared to give us tourist indication about the area

Stayed here last year and it was just as good this time. The property still looks brand new. Very nice outdoor space with fire pits. Lobby, as well as our room, was spotless. Comfortable bed, nice thick towels. At check-in, the young girl working at the front desk (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) confirmed that we had booked 2 Queens. I mentioned that there had not been a King available when I booked. She was nice enough to put us in a King room. She explained where everything was and offered restaurant suggestions. When we came back from dinner, Tonya (sp??) was working. Very friendly & when I asked if the bar was open, she rang for someone right away. Sookjai came out to get our drinks and spent the whole time talking with us which we really enjoyed. When we checked out this morning, we were greeted with a big smile by April who was very sweet.
