one of the cleanest hotels and room i've stayed in in a long time.

We were checked in to not just 1 but 2 times to dirty room that had not been cleaned. No where on this website does it say because you booked through them you have to pay deposit of same amount as entire stay. So that took my bank money (cash on hand ) money away from us. If I didn't have credit cards we would out of town with zero money. Because we checked I'm through this app the hotel would not refund our money . I have pictures of the check in for the 2 different rooms. I called down to let them know our room was filthy and they checked us I'm another room. It waa worst than the first. We are now in 3rd room and house keeping far past 3 days have not even gave us fresh towels...

Good quality for price. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The shopping plaza near the hotel is very bright and noisy but that's not the hotel's fault.

Hotel was decent for 1 night. Plaza behind the hotel was noisy. Hot tub was out of order. Gym was okay, 1 piece of equipment was broken. Shower didn't have very hot water. Room was clean.

Summersville is the stop for all of us traveling north and south. This place was clean and comfortable. The Mexican restaurant in the plaza was in walking distance and awesome. Breakfast at the hotel was wonderful!

The room was fine. Pillows not great but bed was ok. Sheets clean but okd ... a few small holes. Towels old, loose threads.
I was advised thr front door would be locked at night for security however the doors at the ends of the halls didn't lock at all so in fact no security. Breakfast was ok but tables should be cleaned more often . staff were fine.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff were friendly and prompt. I had a reservation and my room was ready. The room was clean and the bed was good. La Quinta's alway provide good value when travelling.

Door key cards did not work. We had to go back to reception 3 times trying to get cards that worked. Finally the receptionist said the only option was to change rooms, which we did.
The room we moved into gets an incredible amount of traffic noise. The window, which is SINGLE-GLAZED (unbelievable!), faces directly onto busy Highway 19 and is 100 feet from the highway (checked using googlemaps) and lets in a continual roar of heavy traffic, including large trucks using engine braking to slow down. Reception told us that no rooms were available on the other, quieter, side of the building. If La Quinta/Wyndham expects people with normal hearing to sleep under these conditions we will never stay in a La Quinta property again.
