Just a heads up because we love the hotel… We stayed last summer for about 2 months after a fire in our home, so we’re quite familiar with the hotel. This time we only needed accommodations for one night so we called the reservation service and were quoted $287 for one night. We were offered no discounts, so it was too expensive, and actually excessive, in comparison to other hotels in the area. However we like Inn at The Quay, so called reception directly. They quoted $173 for the night. Had we not called and been treated in a friendly manner (as usual), we would not have stayed. We won’t call the reservation line again. Great staff, great service, and had a wonderful winter evening reading by the fireplace in the lobby.

Our stay was nice but we wish the TV had more channels or like some hotels have Netflixs that the guess could log into. But we didn't have those services so we were forced to watch stuff on our phones.

There was no food! Lol .... the housekeeping walked into my room without knocking just after 10am ... very rude and inappropriate.... especially since checkout is not until 11 am .... as well when I tried to call the front desk the phone wasn't working....

Room was simple and clean. The unlevel floor going into bathroom could maybe be better marked but we adapted. A portable AC unit was in our room at check in which was good since it was needed. The physical room key took some getting used to (ie not locking automatically). The cable box was precariously set on top of the wall mounted tv and it took some time to get everything hooked up correctly. We had a few minor inconveniences (we stayed multiple days and would have appreciated a place to hang two wet bath towels) but nothing egregious. The lobby snack bar is a diabetic’s nightmare but each morning there were bananas as well.

We had a solid experience at the hotel, having enjoyed the 24 hour gym, consistently friendly service, and large room packed with amenities such as a mini-fridge and a microwave. Thoughtful details like including hand sanitizers and sanitation wipes in the rooms and providing free bottles of water were unexpected and much appreciated. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful experience!

The Delta Hotels by Marriott Vancouver Delta is a suburban hotel situated 20 minutes from the Vancouver Intl Airport and 15 minutes from the BC Ferries Terminal Tsawwassen. We are the perfect location for both business and leisure guests who want to stay in a peaceful setting with quick access to the city. For our guests, the hotel offers a full-service resort experience complete with its spa and wellness center, outdoor pool and hot tub area, as well as the Cascades Casino situated adjacent to the hotel that includes several dining options and a full-scale conference center. Our hotel near Ladner, BC, is also close to Steveston, Richmond and Tsawwassen, which have a multitude of offerings for dining, shopping and tourist entertainment options. Situated close to the US border, the hotel represents a great stopping point for travelers coming either by car or ferry. The Richmond Ice Centre and Silver City Entertainment Complex and Watermania are a short drive away, along with several golf courses.

This hotel is truly nice. The driver and I had a difficult time seeing where the hotel entrance was. We had to guess. Very engaging lobby, with a check in that went very smooth. There are plenty of amenities at this hotel. Good attached restaurant. The room was very large, very nice, and very comfortable. Very large bathroom, and nice shower. However. The glaring problem here are the thin walls. Every other guest I spoke to had the same complaint. I could annoyingly hear the people walking around above my room. The housekeeping staff could be heard cleaning several rooms away. The hotel guests could be heard walking around the halls and in their rooms. A small amount of noise is to be expected at hotels, but this is just poor design and cheap building. There was also a distinct smell of vomit throughout the hotel. I am not certain if this was the result of the farm land outside, or intoxicated guests. Probably both. If you are here to gamble and drink, you may not notice any of my issues. If you are hear to sleep and work the next day, you may share my concerns.

We are BW frequent guests in the highest member category and were staying here on points. At check-in, the front desk clerk said he would have to charge a $150 deposit. I refused and offered to cancel our reservation and go elsewhere. This was a simple, somewhat outdated motel with no restaurant or amenities and I saw no reason for a deposit. The clerk explained that some of their guests damaged their rooms. I assured him that would not happen with two senior citizens with a long track-record with Best Western. He called his manager, Mr. Sav Singh, who apparently refused to waive the deposit. Next the clerk suggested that I give him $150 in cash which he would return the next morning at checkout. Again I refused. This argument went on for quite some time and I told him it was getting late and we needed to go elsewhere. He finally relented and we got into our room which was clean and serviceable but very old looking with lamp electrical outlets and room fridge quite worn out. The clerk had kept insisting that he had to collect a deposit because it was the policy at their property. Afterwards, I went back to their website because I didn't know how I had missed that. The policy posted on the website states, ”Pet Policy: Pets allowed with restrictions, $20 per day with $150 refundable deposit (due at check-in).” As we had no pet, it was completely out of line for the clerk or the manager to demand a deposit from us. After staying at Best Westerns often for the past 20+ years, we can say this was the most unpleasant of all!

The one-bedroom suite was very spacious with fireplaces in both rooms, the kitchen was well supplied with utensils, the heated floor in the main bath was an unexpected bonus in chilly late December, and the half bath by the entryway was very large! The mattresses on the 2 queen beds were the best I've ever slept on in a hotel and the sofa-bed in the living room area was quite good also. Since that room had the large sliding doors to the balcony, it had some small train and road noise, especially New Years! The actual bedroom itself was much quieter. Next time we have a large family get-together, one or 2 of the families will definitely be staying at this location.

PPengguna TetamuHad stayed in this hotel before the pandemic and liked it. I had business in the lower mainland and chose to stay here again, 3 nights. Was not disappointed. The hotel is well maintained except for an elevator that was out of service the entire time. I opted for a single king bed with sofa bed; the room was comfortable, well provisioned and clean. The bed was a little soft for my taste. Breakfast is included and includes one hot egg, meat, and potato option each, a self made waffle station, both hot and cold cereal station, breads & pasties with toasters, and beverages. If you need to leave early, a bagged breakfast can be requested. Will stay again. My one suggestion would be, if you like to sleep in a darker room, or with the window open, chose a room on the back. Lights from the car dealership across the road are bright and on all night, and Langley Bypass is a busy road even at 3 AM.

Booked a room at this hotel on a third party website (Hotwire) where the details aren’t disclosed until after the booking. My concern and frustration with this hotel is with regard to their deposit policy. The lady I spoke to at this hotel refused to honour my prepaid reservation because I don’t have a credit card. She showed zero empathy and had the audacity to suggest I check in alongside an individual that has a bank issued credit card. She further stated that “every hotel in Surrey has this policy” - which is false considering I have stayed at numerous neighboring hotels on a sporadic nature over the past few years where a debit card was sufficient. I asked the lady “why” in which she didn’t elaborate on a response. She further told me it’s only her job “to enforce the policy, not create it”. Wow! Quite frankly this is discrimination and a very shameful business practice, especially considering this policy makes no sense whatsoever. If someone is willing to tender a deposit via debit card, it makes no difference whether it’s a credit or debit account. To say that your software can’t process a refund for the deposit is outright nonsense. All things considered, nonsensical policies and dismissive, vile customer service.

PPengguna TetamuStayed here before years ago, and that experience wasn't great, but since it been such a long time, I thought I'd give them another try as the reviews looked good in general. Checking in and checking out front desk staff was friendly and attentive and recognized my Diamond tier status right away. The cookies they have at check-in we're pretty tasty. The property while nothing to write home about, was clean and well kept, and felt safe overall. Parking spots were super narrow, so if you have a bigger car space maybe hard to come by on either side. Lobby and common areas and hallways all looked clean and up-to-date didn't notice any issues at all. Room was clean, and well kept. But the room did have two problems, 1. the bed was hard as a rock, and not very comfortable at all to me. I found the sofa bed (hide a bed) to be more comfortable than the king size regular bed 2. The light fixtures had a mixture of soft White, daylight bulbs making the room look off based on the light coloring. Breakfast had a good selection of the normal fare you'd find out a Comfort Inn cereal oatmeal fruit pastries etc. Warm food included eggs and potatoes, but the eggs were obviously powdered eggs and we're basically inedible I took one bite and couldn't stomach anymore, the potatoes were cold and rubbery, but at least they were edible and were actually real potatoes. Maybe they should have whoever prepares the cookies, be in charge of making breakfast, as the cookies were far superior to anything we had for breakfast there. I ended up with a better breakfast from Tim Hortons next door, while quite a bit less healthy, but at least it was actually hot and real food and had palatable coffee. Overall the hotel looks nice, and maybe suitable for some, for me it was only good for one night, but I probably won't return.

PPengguna TetamuWe always come to this hotel when we want to spend a romantic night. The room interior is modern and pretty. Just sad that this hotel does not provide tooth brushes unless you ask them for it. (So before we head to our room we tell the front desk to give us the toothbrushes).
I also booked this hotel on my birthday :)
The guy who works at the front desk is very very kind and patient. I totally recommend this hotel

PPengguna TetamuMy elderly mother & I had to make an emergency trip to BC due to the passing of a family member. We made a last minute reservation for a King suite. The rooms are very spacious with a small kitchenette. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and while the living room furniture was dated to was clean & ok for our needs. We did have an issue with the heater in the bedroom but when we reported it to the staff it was repaired right away. Overall everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were great. Would recommend!!

SshuturmaoWe had a solid experience at the hotel, having enjoyed the 24 hour gym, consistently friendly service, and large room packed with amenities such as a mini-fridge and a microwave. Thoughtful details like including hand sanitizers and sanitation wipes in the rooms and providing free bottles of water were unexpected and much appreciated. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful experience!

PPengguna TetamuLocation is really good. The hotel is just within a 10-minute walk from Gateway station. Besides, there’s a supermarket and several cafeterias nearby. The front desk and staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are cozy and super clean. Breakfast is standard continental breakfast.
The drawbacks are that there’s no bottled water and slippers in the rooms, and that the hotel is very close to the road. Noise from outside may be disturbing in some rooms.
Overall experience is pretty good. Decent 4 out of 5.

PPengguna TetamuPrivé huis in rustige buurt. Vriendelijke Chinese eigenaresse. Iets andere dan westerse gastvrijheid, maar met goede bedoelingen. Bekend was dat het een gedeelde badkamer/wc is, wat echter de waardering wat beïnvloedt. Zuinig met het licht door stekkers van nachtlampjes niet in de stopcontacten te doen. Eetkamerruimte met koelkast en beperkt bestek, wel met aanrecht en warm water. Schoenen moeten uit in de hal bij de voordeur, slippers worden aangeboden door het verhuurder om binnenshuis te gebruiken. Geen makkelijke deurpincodes, wat een snel in en uit belemmert, makkelijk fouten te maken, 6 en 8 cijfers en of symbolen om in te toetsen. Wanneer we voor de volgende reis niet iets beter in de omgeving vinden boeken we weer hier, dus kon het e.e.a. ermee door.
