Excellent location and best service and friendly staff.

I booked 2 nights in this place on December 30 and 31 and it costed me $150 the night, where the normal price won’t exceed the $50. I thought the price was in reales but it was in dollars, so I hoped it would be a really nice place due to the price. There was no security box, the wifi was incredibly slow (I had to do some work and couldn’t due it from the room), there were ants over the table, no hair drier, the handle of the door was broken and there was no lamp next to the bed. I emailed the owner and he never responded it. I went to talk to him in person and ask him if he got it but he said he had nothing to say and that the booking was my mistake. I explained all the issues I found with the room and that I was expecting a refund due to them, but he never took responsibility for them and blamed me again for the booking. I was expecting responsibility on the matter. I thought that position was greedy, he knows I didn’t want to book at that price, that it was’t the normal cost of the hotel due to holidays and that I found many issues in the room.

This hotel was wonderful, the service was fantastic for the most part. I say for the most part because I had to wait over 30 minute for a few bottles of water and needed to call twice. Also they don't really know much about technology...I figured out the TV myself and the A/C had a timer set to go off in the middle of the night, I called downstairs, no one came so I figured it out for myself. For a luxury property it would have been nice to have a makeup mirror in the bathroom and a box of tissues ( I bought my own box). One last critic would have been great to have the serve of someone to iron your clothes . We also needed adaptors so we could use our electronics (and my friend with me was from Rio, but still needed one as there was no way to plug in your cell phone charger). One more HUGE thing, the floor in the shower is a bit slippery and there is no handrail, nothing to grab onto, a bit dangerous, no matter what your age and I would have like brighter lightbulbs in the bathroom. On a Positive note (and there were many) Room was clean and bed huge and comfy and quiet at night for sleeping. Double sinks in the bathroom a plus. Everyone was super friendly and breakfast was fantastic. Pool and gardens were lovely, lush and tropical. The ice cream shop Miracolo was a dream, we went for ice cream every afternoon, not to be missed. And the restaurant Pupus was truly exceptional, the service was 5 stars and the food was prenominal. All in all we had a wonderful weekend.

Stayed here with my family for a week and the place was incredible, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paraty. It's a bit far from the historic center so you'll need a car to move around and explore. ROOM We stayed at Suíte Master, the room was very big and clean. The bathroom was very spacious, with good toiletries included and a shower with nice water pressure and temperature. It had a large TV with many channels available, a good aircon system, and a mini fridge. I liked that the minibar was empty so we could buy our own drinks and keep them cold. Even though the room was in front of a pool and the car parking, it wasn't noisy at all. It was nice to chill and have a drink on the veranda after a day out. The bed was comfortable with a nice mattress and pillows. STAFF All the staff was very friendly and helpful in any area of the hotel, but especially the restaurant staff. RESTAURANT The food at the restaurant was really good, we ate there almost every day because of it, and everything we tried from the menu was great. The drinks were also very good, especially Jorge Amado. The buffet breakfast was excellent with so many options to choose from. The only negative was the burger place, I actually didn't try the burger myself, but I went with the family one night for dinner and they all complained that the meat was overcooked. I liked that I could sit at the burger place with them, but order meals from the restaurant menu. POOLS The 3 pools are very nice, but only one is heated, and it was always very crowded, especially in the evening. The other 2 pools were very nice during the day but a bit cold in the evening, but also I didn't visit during summer. I didn't appreciate that people are allowed to drink in the pool, so people had their beer bottles with them inside the pool, or bottles sitting at the edge of the pool, which can be quite dangerous if a bottle breaks and glass falls inside the pool. Not sure it's even allowed, but there was no one stopping people from doing it. FACILITIES The gym seemed quite large and nice, but I didn't use it. The sauna was good. The kid's area was nice and a great addition to keep the niece entertained, but it was good fun for the adults as well. I enjoyed the massage chairs as well. WIFI The wifi worked well throughout all the areas of the hotel

Tive hospedada a 8 anos atrás e resolvi voltar para relembrar a hospedagem que havia sido boa no passado , para minha decepção a estadia foi totalmente decepcionante, o café da manhã estava defasado, não havia sequer um queijo , apenas pão com manteiga, pedi uma torradeira para esquentar o pão e não havia , fui então conversar com a dona da pousada Sra.Lidia, que foi extremamente ignorante comigo , falei pra ela que eu trabalhava na área de hotelaria em Copacabana e que o café não precisava ser espetacular, mas que um queijo ou uma torradeira era o básico , então ela se alterou e me respondeu de uma forma extremamente grosseira e ríspida: Não me interessa se vc é de área de hotelaria, não me interessa sua reclamação até porque muitos reclamam e isso não me importa!!! Se você não está satisfeita saia !!! Ainda gritando me falou: se você quiser gravar eu falando fique a vontade pra colocar no site !!! Eu não acreditei no que estava ouvindo e vi que estava perdendo meu tempo com a minha sugestão, e então fui para o quarto me preparar para fazer o check out, e enquanto minha filha tomava banho faltou água e eu percebi que ela mandou desligar a água para que não pudéssemos tomar banho !!!! Essa foi a hospedagem mais decepcionante e absurda que tive !!! Nunca imaginei que durante todo esse foi de hotelaria iria presenciar tamanha falta de educação de uma pessoa que se diz proprietária🤷
