Very nice three days in Bratislava, I would say, after the great concert of rock legends, the great and mighty AC/DC. Bratislava is a beautiful little city on the banks of the mighty Danube. Hotel Devin is a nice hotel to spend three or more days in Bratislava, and it is also located along the banks of the mighty Danube. A very nice match. Open the curtains and watch various ships and other vessels going up and down the Danube. A very nice view, I would say. At least it was for me and my love. The hotel smells old-fashioned, but not in the way of depreciation, but in the way of beautiful hotels from earlier times. At least it seems so to me. Basically, beautiful and vintage luxury. The service at the hotel was excellent, the staff is professional and pleasant. My love loved it too. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. Bar stocked with plenty. Everything was nice and fine, as it should be. Breakfast was fine, a classic buffet. You can choose what you like and eat it. At breakfast, the only thing that was not right for us was the plain water on offer. Water was warm. Otherwise, in Bratislava, it is difficult to get a glass of cold water, you are served warm. I do not know why. The waiters must be reminded to bring you cold water, which should be taken for granted on hot summer days. But that's just one detail. Everything else was fine with the hotel and the hotel's offer. I would add another nice part of hotel and that is spa wellness in the hotel. My love and I really enjoyed it. Basically, Hotel Devin is a nice place to spend a few days in beautiful Bratislava.

I always get cynical about huge US hotel chains, and there are definitely some ‘rinse and repeat’ aspects but credit where credit is due - as a total *****ni fan, very few are made ‘right’ as defined by my palette (and yes, I get I sound like a pretentious #*$¥) - but this was great - mixed in a jug with ice to chill it perfectly before serving in a separate glass with a single oversize cube of ice. The heavy square glass base mirrored the ice to build the aesthetic but most importantly, with the obligatory twist of orange zest, the taste was sublime. €10.90 is a relative bargain for such an immersive experience.

Visiting Bratislava for first time. Wedding anniversary so asked if any chance by email of an upgrade. Generously gave us an upgrade to a suite. Mrs T mightily impressed with the room and facilities. Staff all friendly. Breakfast brilliant with lots of choice. Interestingly bread and butter pudding which we think used yesterday croissants and pain a chocs. Absolutely delicious. Had a small issue with the bath tap. Reported and fixed while at breakfast. Fab service. Location very central with bus and tram stops nearby and can walk to old town in 10 mins. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

The hotel is not located in the very center of Bratislava, but it has very good transport accessibility. The railway station and the central bus station are nearby. The room was cozy, clean, and the design is modern. I had no complaints about the operation of electronic devices or plumbing. I would gladly give the hotel the highest score, but we were denied early check-in (we arrived outside the high tourist season, and I doubt that the hotel had no available rooms). Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel.

酒店在多瑙河的河邊，但是距離多瑙河還有一定距離，從酒店面河可以見河水和大橋，但景色非常一般，談不上“河景”。酒店是一所現代化樓宇，房間非常多，設施設備還可以，説得過去。但床並不太舒服，房間也非常小，這與現代化樓宇不太相配。酒店周邊非常一般，什麼都沒有。酒店距離老城區有一點兒距離，酒店並不在老城區內是老城區的邊上。

Our experience was bad, but just because the management didn’t clearly make sure that everything was working as it should be in a 120€ a night hotel which offers “executive rooms”. Upon check in, our room was cold and we couldn’t turn on the heating, even though on the istructions provided on how to manage it looked so easy. It wasn’t. At some point someone at reception activated it… but all the way up! The room was SO warm at night we had to call reception at 1AM to ask to solve the issue or be moved in another room, which eventually happened. As compensation we were offered a bottle of prosecco which was given to us… room temperature and upon checkout (two mornings after), when we had to go at the airport! Where were we supposed to drink it??? Anyway, Those newly renovated rooms are ANYTHING but soundproof as unfortunately we could hear voices in the corridor in the morning and from another room next to us. The design of the bathroom/shower is poor as the spash screen is too small and water spills out on the floor. Also there are no wall plugs right by the bed which is also absurd. You need to get out the bed to use one. The breakfast is ok but poor considering the quality this hotel presents itself to be. Therefore, £100/€120 a night for a room feels WAY overpriced (and remember it’s still 20 mins walking from town center). To the readers, I’m not saying “avoid at all costs”… but consider my honest review in your choice.

AAndhika W WirawanSuch a quaint and chic hotel. The design transports you to the days of opulence past, but do not think that the furniture are old. They are brand new. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff is top notch. You will find hidden gems throughout the hotel. The Saloon, Spa, and terrace. Check out the lift. Was pleasantly surprised that they use L'Occitane for their amenities in the bath room. Definitely want to come again.

PPengguna TetamuMy boyfriend & I stayed here for 2 nights during our inter-railing trip. Upon arrival we were given 2 drink vouchers to enjoy at the bar which was very generous. Furthermore, the staff at reception went above and beyond for us. When we got to the next city as part of our trip I realised I had left something in the hotel which was of sentimental value to me. I emailed the hotel & Maros replied within 24 hours to let me know that they could post my item home that I had left behind. The kindness & willingness of the staff to provide this level of customer service was something I was very grateful for & something that has been somewhat lost to an extent in this modern age. Not only this, the hotel itself is lovely & the rooms are extremely spacious which suited us as we had a lot of luggage. Would definitely recommend a stay here whilst in Bratislava!

NNadiiaThe location of the hotel is good. The room is clean and has everything I needed. The service is also good. But there were problems with hot water in one room. So I asked an employee named Alicia to help me solve this issue or change the room. But Alicia began to be rude and said that the water was not so cold and I could take a shower. But the water temperature was really cold. I was surprised. As a result, our number was changed, but only after conflict.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is of a good standard and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms/apartments were a good size and nicely furnished. The only, but, is that we are 3 ladies over 60. Not only was the walk uphill from the old town quite a challenge, but the hotel car park is a cobbled slope and the entrance to the reception is via 2 sets of stairs one without a handrail. Distance to the old town was not a problem, but the slope getting back was a chore especially in the heat. Definitely don't want to take anything away from how good the hotel is, but think older people or people with mobility issues need to know

The only downside was finding the main entrance to the hotel, it's not very noticeable from the street, especially at night.

22210danniWe booked for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary while on a longer trip to Vienna. We were very pleased on check in when we were told that we had been upgraded to a superior room free of charge, with access to the rooftop lounge. The rooftop lounge was fantastic - complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and small snacks, plus a coffee machine. The terrace was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a sunny afternoon with a few drinks, and this was the highlight of our stay. However, the room lacked any kind of AC. We enquired about it at reception after thinking we had programmed it wrong, but we were told by two separate staff that it just doesn’t work in the way AC should, and that they knew it was an issue on the 6th floor. There were no other superior rooms available for the night we were staying, and so if we wanted to change to another room we would have to downgrade (and lose access to the lounge), so we decided to put up with it. (Bear in mind, the daily temperatures during our stay were around 30 Celsius). The night was very uncomfortable as a result - we had to sleep with the terrace door open which was a) a security risk, and b) noisy from the passing traffic. It cooled the room down enough to sleep, but it wasn’t an enjoyable sleep. We made use of the gym in the morning and again - no AC! The door was wide open and this barely made any difference. Breakfast was fantastic - plenty of choice of hot and cold buffet food, juices, teas and coffees and even sparkling wine. We throughly enjoyed it and it bookended an otherwise slightly disappointing experience with the room. I would recommend this hotel based on the location, service, the use of the lounge, and breakfast - but I would suggest that the hotel upgrades its AC system, or at least invests in some fans that could be given to guests during hot weather.

ZZoneboyHotel is next to President palace in the city of Bratislava. Hotel is old fashion but big, I got 325 corner room. The TV in room doesnt work also net was extremly slowly. I reported it tu hotel but only I am y sorry its today all hotel problem. In bif hotel chain is not working TV cause for new room or high compensation on level min 25% of hotel room price. Materas are very poor and bed noisy. Breakfad are for my suprise bed, otherwise its training hotel for students for have to tolerant my recomendation is sent teachers tu Dubai to check how to do in serving besuse this is not added value for that students in serving and presentstion of food but old fashion Slovak standards, otherwise food was fresh and tasty.

The hotel is located in a lovely quiet neighborhood and right next to a bus station. The rooms are very clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable. The staff is friendly. I didn't like the small bathtub and low shower. A larger man may experience difficulty. Everything else was wonderful. I recommend it.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel was good, but it feels a bit overpriced as I booked even better one for the same price in Vienna, which is a contrast city in terms of the price. Gentleman at the reception was friendly. Bear in mind that the hotel will charge additional city tax when you move in.
The hotel itself was more less clean, but the room was not spotlessly cleaned to be honest. I had some hair on the soap dispenser and some threads in the bath. The bed was a bit small and short, furniture was slightly damaged. The door had old post soviet style of faux leather Ron top and I was wondering why… I woke up at the middle of the night from the screams of the children that were so loud in the corridor for some reason. The sound insulation is not good at all there sadly and the fabric door did not really help.
The hotel has nice authentic lobby which reminds a Soviet porch with Persian carpets. I booked 1 month in advance for 26th of December and paid $68, which I think is overpriced, considered the quality and space of the room. If it was cheaper, I’d have given more starts for this review. It is ok for one night if you just come and fall asleep. Hotel needs renovation.

Siamo arrivati lì, per una notte, con un pullman di una cinquantina di persone. La reception è molto piccola per cui diverse persone sono rimaste fuori con le valigie durante le operazioni di accettazione, per fortuna non pioveva. Ci hanno chiesto di essere puntuali per l'orario della cena ma la sala era veramente piccolissima e a malapena ci stavamo tutti. Cena a buffet passabile. Per la colazione del giorno dopo, sempre a buffet, abbastanza soddisfacente, ma essendoci altri ospiti dell'hotel, alcuni della nostra comitiva hanno dovuto fare colazione nei divanetti davanti alla reception. Un solo ascensore in cui stanno al max sei persone, tre se ci sono anche le valigie. Camere spaziose e pulite, così pure i bagni. Personale gentile.
