Hotel berhampiran Bet Yosef (The Caro Synagogue), Sydney

This is one of the most luxurious hostels you could stay in. It is beautifully designed, but in the dormitories they will never look like the photos unless you are the only one in there (or the other people staying in there are really tidy with their possessions!). This is the definition of the meme: expectation vs reality. The private room is incredible, it felt like a hotel room - just without an ensuite. Breakfast was fine, but disappointing. Beggars can't be choosers; but, why was there no fruit? Your options were tea and coffee, toast and cereal - that was about it. That staff were competent and helpful regarding matters of admin, but not as friendly and chatty as other hostels I have stayed in. Cleaning could be improved. Down the side of my dorm bed there were used Cotton Buds, tissues, and other detritus which was not pleasant when checking nothing had fallen down the side of my bed before checking out. The Goki experience was unique and modern, somewhat of a fan of that over keycards or keys. Overall pretty good, but don't expect the most social experience - if you are a solo traveller after making friends, there are better hostels I would recommend over this one. If you are travelling as a couple or with friends, this would be great.

Clean hostel with friendly staff. Rooms were spacious with large lockers for each occupant and personal plugs and bed side lights in a great position. Showers/toilets on each floor and I never had to wait to use them. Downside is that you can hear the music from their basement club even on the 6th floor until late into the night. Didn’t bother me as I was only there a few nights and I managed to get enough sleep. Kitchen is WAY too small for amount of guests in the hostel. The social events put on by the hostel were a good way to meet people as a solo female traveller.

Our stay at the YEHS Hotel on York Street had both positives and negatives. The location is fantastic, very central and close to everything, making it convenient for exploring Sydney CBD. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities provided were sufficient. However, the decor is outdated, and the room was small and cramped. The overall cleanliness was a major letdown aswell. The bathroom had a sewage smell, the shower wasn’t clean, there were a few cracked tiles, and the room itself was dirty. Despite the great location and helpful staff, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly impacted our stay.

It was totally a good choice staying here for 7 nights, easy access to train station and walking distance to touristic places. Variety Restaurants nearby walking distance nearby from fast food to Asian choices. Love it a lot. Definitely will come back for stay next travel to Sydney

Staying in Fullerton Hotel is a wonderful experience. Hesitating between the Fullerton Hotel and the Four Season，finally here we are. Half an hour was spent on the way to the hotel from Sydney International Airport by train，which is in the vicinity of St James Station. Greeted by professional concierge and receptionist，the check in was less than 5 mins. 1 dollar was deducted from card as deposit. The room of 40 square meters was really big for two person. Mini bar was filled with different kind of drinks. Bed & sofa was soft and cozy. Room service was available via a black i-pad on the table，paid by either cash or card when checking out. Sydney Opera House & Hyde Park was nearby，together with other luxury stores. The room price was friendly during off-season，which will definitely double when the new year come. Haven’t tried the Four Season yet and can not give any comments，but Fullerton experience was truly nice and worthy.

The location is just perfect, super close to Central from where you can travel to any part of the city ! In walking distance from the hotel you will find lots of food places of different cuisine. I stayed there on New Year Eve and got an unexpected surprise in my room when got back in the evening: a box of delights (cheese , salami, fruits …) and a bottle of champagne 🍾 as a compliment from Novotel ! It was so thoughtful and nice of them , really appropriated that move ! Another thing which I really liked is the softness of the bed and different types of pillows so anyone will find the most suitable for himself ! Last time on my trip I stayed at Novotel Darling Square, but could say that was much more happier about my stay at Novotel Central ! Highly recommend!

Service was excellent. The girl at counter recommended a 2 bed room as I booked a king bed room for me and 2 kids. Also suggested to escalate to a room with view to Opera House. Best choice ever. Delicious view. My kids love the experience.

Their genuine interest in our well-being, coupled with their attention to detail, made us feel truly pampered. Our room, a serene haven, was tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with subtle touches of elegance. A sweeping view of the city skyline against the setting sun from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of magic to our stay. The cleanliness and peaceful ambiance of the room were second to none, contributing to our restful nights. Evening walks in the hotel's serene gardens, imbued with the soft scent of blooming flowers, brought us closer to nature and each other. Meanwhile, the sleek, tranquil spa with its range of rejuvenating treatments further elevated our stay. Our experience at The Elysium was indeed a magical escape, made even more special by the fact that we shared these wonderful moments together. It was a refreshing break, a chance to disconnect from the mundane, and reconnect with each other. Our memories of this place are etched in our hearts, making us yearn to return when the opportunity arises. We left The Elysium with heavy hearts but with the promise of a future visit. It was more than just a hotel, it was an experience, a beautiful chapter in our lives, that we would happily revisit.

I enjoyed my stay in Stamford, which I stayed 1 night for taking morning flight. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is restaurant in the hotel, which allow me to eat without needing to go out, which is convenient. I ordered something from the grill for dinner, which is nice. Booking the shuttle from hotel to airport is easy and car arrived punctual. Stamford has all the elements I have expected as an airport hotel, will consider to stay again for my should I need somewhere close to airport.
