We booked a Deluxe room, which at 36 square meters was the largest non-suite of our trip. Upon checkin, they wanted a 1K cash deposit so that we could charge things. They only gave us one card key, and said they couldn’t give us others that night since the hotel was full. When we went back to our room it was much warmer, since the power had been off. The next day we got another key. The room looked good at first. It had a room-service menu and Kleenex (actually harder, like small paper towels). The WiFi was strong, and worked with my Kindle, unlike most. We had various problems with the room, however. The safe was too small for a laptop, and didn’t even have batteries in it. The desk had a bad working position. The bed had only a blanket, not a sheet. The shower fan didn’t work; we told them about it on our first evening there, but they didn’t fix it while we were there. There was no hand towel, only a bath mat and shower towels. The shower could be better: the overhead rain head had low flow and the handheld one liked to fall down. It was hard to figure out how to turn off the some of the bathroom lights in Kew: I figured out that they’re under a water-protecting cover in the bathroom, separate from the main bathroom light switch, which was outside. They want you to put towels on the floor if they should be replaced, and a card on the pillow to replace linens. We saw a cockroach by the door when we came back to the room once, but managed to get him outside of the room. It was difficult to adjust the curtain, and the first night we didn’t close it completely so it was bright in the morning. There was a good bit of street noise on our top floor room. In the morning, we discovered that there’d been a window open since we arrived. After I closed it, there still seemed to be a good bit of street noise, and we discovered that the AC unit wasn't well sealed. One time they made up our room but took our shower towels; they quickly provided new ones when informed. The humidity was rather high unless we turned the temperature down to around 73F. The toilet tended to get clogged, and we had to ask a second time to get it unclogged. In August, 2022 their roof deck lounge wasn't operational after the December, 2021 typhoon, though they appeared to be fixing it. Their restaurant, Café Melecia, had an extensive dinner menu, and our dinner was quite good. We liked our enormous ”appetizer” of beef salpicao and leche flan, the adobong kangkong with lechon kawali not so much. They didn't have napkins on the table, so we had to request them. We didn't like their breakfast buffet as much as the other breakfast buffets we’d been to on this trip. They again didn’t have napkins. Getting there earlier helps for variety (our visits were a little after 9 AM versus a little after 9:30 AM). I liked their ham and cheese omelet, orange marmalade, and egg drop soup. Great place to stay..restaurant in the facilities is a plus. Would recommend this place to everyone.

I have traveled all over the world and the Manager and other workers at Cesar's Place make this hotel my home away from home while in Bohol. They consistently go above and beyond what you would expect for service for such a reasonable price! They are not mind readers so occasionally if I have a special request I do have to ask but they are always very accommodating and super friendly. If you are traveling to Bohol contact them directly. They also have longer stays with and without breakfast. I have seen on some other booking sites they say some rooms are NO CHILDREN under 13 - but definitely contact the hotel directly as they said this was not really their policy.

Traveling here for work about 16nights, we were a big group. Pros: Room in the new wing is perfect. Breakfast is great for me. We had wifi trouble and they were ready with a repeater. When we requested for a new room, we were easily given, perhaps because it was more expensive. Cons: upon check in we were advised we could use the pool and gym upon request so they could have someone ”guard” the vicinity. Lies. Not once in the over 2 weeks were we able to use the facility. Then, I was driving a car. Had to wait for some odd minutes for the car to be picked up. The guards refused to let me wait in the lobby area. When we asked if we could wait in the parking area, manned or unmanned, guards say no not acceptable. We are guests they could easily call us up to move cars but no. When asked where we could wait then, they asked us to wait by the main road. MAIN ROAD. I dont think thats snart. When i refused (cause hello), the guards (by this time there were 2) started their drama about losing their jobs and having mouths to feed, because it's hotel policy to not let anyone wait in their car by the lobby. Later on, another female guard let me park in a smaller area at the end of the parking lot, thank goodness someone had brains. Takeaway from this is they care about the security of the hotel and security of their jobs, but not about the clients. Subsequent to this, as in days after, my friends were saying the guards were looking at me unkindly. I thought long and hard about my security and safety and decided to hold it and not complain anymore, one more night I sai. It will never be ok to ask your clients to wait by the main road cause its not smart. So no, as much as possible, i would rather never stay here again.

I really like the customer service. I had to check out early the next day because of my flight and I asked if I can have an early breakfast. They agreed and gave me sandwiches with sandwich spread (lady’s choice?) and bottled water. Room (for 2, no windows) was small but clean and quite nice. Bed was comfortable. I had 2 complimentary water bottles, 2 toothbrushes, 2 shampoos, and 2 soaps. Room was for two but I’m the only one who stayed in the room (accidentally booked for two adults). Surprised that there was no water heater and bidet (there was only a dipper/tabo). Shower water pressure was subpar. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. Only place I can put any soap was the sink. Wifi speed was good. I saw parking for 4 cars in front of the hotel. Unsure if there are more parking spaces.

I stayed at the resort for one week. My first interaction with them was through their FB oage. I messaged them but they were unresponsive. Upon check in, I also had a dismal experience with their front desk staff. Slow witted and disorganized. On my first knight, the room was okay except that it lacks some basic toiletries, which they provided upon request. The housekeeping people are good. They are very thorough in cleaning/tidying up my room every morning. For the food, I love their burgers. Other than that, the food they serve is mediocre. A bit pricey, top. Don’t order their shakes or coffees. You only be disappointed. I love They have a nice tennis court. But they dont allow guests to use it. It would have been good if they open it for the paying guests. We had to go out and play outside. The whole place is decently designed. Very spacious. lots of open spaces. The pools are nice, too. The walls of the room are not well insulated. You could hear the noises from other rooms or hallway. Overall, the place is so so. It is ok if you are looking for a place to stay for a short vacation. But, I don’t think I wanna go back again unless they improve their services and menu — and also if they will open up the tennis court 🤣.

This is the best place to stay in Bohol. Everything is superb specially the FRONT DESK guy who is very helpful and friendly and will taking care of you if anything you need. His like working in a five star hotel. The food preparation is superb. It’s very recommendable place to stay trust me. Will be going back there. We check in 8/8/22 and check out 8/10/22.
