However, hotel is a little bit old and old style if you don’t mind, you can hear the air con, pipes or the sound of the next room at night, so if you are “lucky” to get one of these rooms, try to ask for another one.
Be aware not to open the window, there’s mosquitoes to annoy you whole night. Remember to get mosquito repellent at the convenient store nearby.
Breakfast include vegetarian selection with buffet style, eat all you want.

Location is very very good, but bed and pillows are the worst ever! I could not sleep because the mattress springs were literally in my back, pillow very bad. Also, the check in until really really late, this means, for example, that in the dorm I was, at midnight we were 3, and at 4 AM we were 7! 4 people arrived during the night and even if they've been very respectful, still 4 people make some noise. Bed curtains need to be changed, I had the chill from the a/c direct on me. Receptionists are very very helpful, kind and speak a good English!

Great hotel, great price, great service, great location. A few minutes walk from Taichung Station (not to be confused with the high speed railway station) and directly in front of one of the main intercity bus stops (ticket office next door) so easy to take bus to Taipei. Also intracity buses depart from here, so easy to get almost anywhere. Staff are friendly, and the hotel is spotless. Convenience store and beef noodle soup next door too. There are several other hotel options nearby for similar prices, but overall this one ticks all the boxes.

Room was quite small, not much shelf/table space to place stuff. Room and bathroom were decently clean. Blanket was just a single sheet, could be thicker. Location was wonderful, a few min walk from taichung main station, and near to many food places and 7/11. Sufficient if you are not picky, especially for the price!

I booked this hotel as it stated that there are parking lots. When I came to check in, staff only said that there were not available and directed me to the near by parking where I have to pay fee.
Staff who are at the counter check in were not so friendly, unlike the staff who are at the breakfast entrance and in front of the elevator area, they were very helpful and friendly.
The room was clean and we got the view where we can see the main train station.

Clean is small but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choice was good and changed every day throughout the entire 3 days of stay. The additional plus point would be the free laundry room at Ground Floor which you can wash for your clothes and dry them free. Staffs are polite and kind to assist you with any enquires that you have. All in all, a pleasant stay at City Inn Hotel (Taichung) and would return again for the same hotel the next trip.
Lastly kudos to staff - Emma who has helped to maintain the cleanliness of Room 701 throughout the entire 3 days. Appreciate your effort. Thank you 😊

PPengguna TetamuWe are visiting Alishan, Sun-moon lake so make a stop at Taichung and we find this is a nice hotel and nice room and facilities are well equipt , we like hotel breadfast at the cafe which supply a bit variety of Asian food + American food too. It's a pity we only for a night , next trip I will plan to come back here for few days stay to explore Taitung.

What's Good:
1. This is one of the most interesting hotel I stayed in. I like the balcony, can suntan. the layout and design of the room is fabulous. In the morning, when sun shines in, the room is so beautiful.
2. I also like that the room has multiple international plugs, guest don't need to bring international plugs. Hotels all over should adopt this idea.
3. The staff at the counter service very good. Very helpful ladies.
Areas for improvement:
1. The area near cabinet should install a light, at night I want to retrieve my clothes, I cant even see clearly.
2. I like that the toilet bowl has bidet. Too bad its not working. Please repair! Not very nice to rent our an unserviceable room. It's like when you paid $5 for an apple, the vendor gives you a partially rotten apple and expect you to accept it without discount. As a customer, what impression will you have of the vendor?
3. Roof top under repair. Early morning, I was woken up by heavy drilling and hammering. The hotel should be aware there is a guest staying right below. I have to call to ask them to stop. I understand repair needs to be done. Can arrange repairs on days when the 7th floor room is unoccupied?
4. I don't know if the room is infested with rats or ******* or if someone is staying above the 7th floor unit. In the middle of the night, 2-3am, heavy footsteps can be heard, you can hear the floor creek with each steps as if going to collapse!

SSiSiriThis is a very great place to stay at. It’s very convenient as it’s in a walking distance from Taichung Station and bus stops. I stayed for one night in a bunk bed ‘room’. Every bunk bed has its own space, counter, wardrobe, safe and enough power outlets. The washroom area is also well facilitated with a separate zone of wet and dry area in each shower room. They also have noodles time and a light breakfast.
Overall, it was a nice stay, would recommend for a solo traveler and will most probably stay here again if I come to Taichung 😊

The toiletries by Cha Tzu Tang are the best! The location was great for us, being near or very near to useful bus lines. I would love to see more fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet. I would *really* like it if they have black coffee as an option in the room. (Inhouse Hotel Grand: If you're reading this, please can we have black coffee in the rooms that we can make for ourselves?)

DDebbraThe staff were amazing and friendly. The facility however needs some upgrading. They have a washer in the building but was extremely old so practically couldn't be used. However, there is a nearby (10 min walk) laundromat that was amazing. Overall, the experience was okay. I would prefer to pay a little more money for a bigger room or go elsewhere.

PPengguna Tetamu今天剛好是父親節前夕，特地南下台中陪岳父大人吃飯，我們特地選在福華饗宴。吃完后依照女王大人的指示前往一中街把她的二手包賣掉，再買幾件新衫補充囉！晚上再回到逢甲去逛街吃晚餐喔！ 終於在晚間9點初抵達我們注意很久的芭蕾經典旅館，它雖然地址在向上路，但其實要從文心南五路轉進入口囉！ 今晚有摸獎活動，我摸到一顆黃球，可以回饋住宿費600元。我們住的是芭蕾君心的等級，也算是小小嘗試看看囉！ 我們的房間剛好位在最邊間，浴室我覺得有變大的感覺ㄟ！我很喜歡白色系列的造型，加上65吋超大電視，讓我們看起電影很爽快喔！房間還算是相當簡約，該有的都有啦！由衷希望可以有一碗牛肉湯麵泡麵啦！ 今天走了很多路，因此我也享受它的按摩浴缸，還算很舒服喔！晚上看了兩部電影也值回票價，再加上隔天早上又看了一部忍者龜。 早上我跟老婆的早餐剛好一中一西，中式是稀飯配小菜，西式的則是雞腿排漢堡，再配上兩杯柳橙汁，就完成早上的美味時刻啦！ 接着就是瘋狂拍照，為女王跟小女王留下一堆的美美照，結束這一段南下台中快樂行啦！

Buses to Nantou is located right beside the hotel, suitable for tourists making a trip to Sun Moon Lake or Qingjing Farm etc. Breakfast is not bad with some variety. There is also a vending machine with food and drinks for convenience and free coffee/tea available 24/7. Coin laundry is also available but doesn't have a timer.

PPengguna TetamuI booked a triple room for myself as I wanted a bigger room but was given a 4 ppl room with 2 double beds. Very helpful n efficient check in staff who did everything from checking n fixing the musty smell in my room n showing me how to take the buses. Great location w bus stops for local buses n buses to other cities right outside, n great local food just around the corner. There’s also a small outlet mall n Taichung park within 5 min walk. Very modern deco. Only downside is no fridge in room n no proper room makeup. Overall, great place!
