Hotel berhampiran Xin Hua Old Street, Tainan

We stayed two nights in Roots Inn Tainan, I think it’s highly recommendable. The rooms are simple, but clean. It’s got a mini fridge for you to store all the delicious goodies that you may buy in Tainan. No bottled water nor coffee/ tea in the room, but all is provided in the 6/F communal living room. It’s a nice setting to enjoy after a long day out, we bought some snacks from the food stalls near by back to the living room because of heavy rain outside. The living room has all the dining ware that you’ll need, and a nice big dining table to spread your feast out. Location is very convenient as the alleys nearby are filled with food stalls at night. Service is excellent, we asked for extra hand towels and hand soap, they provided that to our room while we went out. The receptionist mentioned to us that even after check out, we are welcome to rest in the 6/F living room before we had to leave, which is very nice. On a side note: BMS cafe nearby is excellent for western breakfast and coffee, we went there for both mornings during our stay.

地理位置非常好 就在赤崁樓旁邊 推薦大家一定要去買就在隔壁轉角的葡吉 超好吃 房間非常大也很乾淨 貼心的也準備上了木湯匙跟筷子 晚上吃宵夜的時候不怕沒有餐具 剛入住的時候行李就會直接幫忙送進房間 服務人員的態度也都非常親切客氣 早餐有主食可以選（中式日式西式） 然後還有一些自助餐的選擇 牛肉湯很好喝 ! 整體來說是非常開心的體驗 希望能再回來住

Saya telah tinggal beberapa kali. Saya kebetulan melalui Tainan dan saya mahu makan makanan Tainan dan tinggal selama satu malam. Ruangan itu bersih dan terawat seperti biasa, tetapi akan lebih baik jika ruangan itu dilengkapi dengan alat pembersih udara.

Kakitangan di kaunter ramah, kemudahan tempat letak kereta bawah tanah lebih maju, bilik-biliknya kedap suara, dan kemudahan bilik mandi sangat bersih dan kemas. Lokasi hotel sangat sesuai untuk membeli-belah. Akan tinggal di Tainan lain kali.

入住后發現照片看起來坪數不小，實際入住雙人房大概衹有單人房的大小⋯⋯ 自己入住的房間，蓮蓬頭故障有問題，打開會上下水柱一起流出導致蓮蓬頭水壓不足，洗澡要花非常久的時間，朋友房間衹有昏暗的一盞黃色燈，連回房想看電視都非常吃力！ 民宿房間門衹有木頭門，房間又很小，床鋪距離跟門太近導致隔音效果等於0，隔壁鄰居在說什麼都聽的一清二楚，朋友被隔壁房吵到半夜兩三點才能入睡，隔天一大早又被菸味攻擊，實在很難讓人接受⋯ 退房時遇到小管家，跟對方反映，雖然管家立刻上樓查看是否有菸味，但是清晨的事情到11點退房已經有時間，房間又開着抽風，味道早已消散，其實我們衹是想要民宿一個抱歉或者告訴我們之後會加強房內空間禁菸標示，而不是反過來說，你們沒有聞到煙味⋯⋯難道一早的味覺是幻想嗎？ 蓮蓬頭故障的事情，也說我們可以即時反映，會幫忙換房，但是洗澡時間已經是深夜，也不會有人入住馬上檢查所有設備，客人睡前洗澡還要拖着疲憊身軀再換房嗎？難道上個房客退房后都沒有清潔浴室地板，所以才沒有察覺浴室水龍頭出了問題？ 而且兩間房內衛生紙都衹剩下一兩張，由於裝在麪紙盒內，使用時才發現沒紙，雖然樓下可以拿到補充包，但是又顯示了小管家在細節上完全不用心⋯ 入住時告知的密碼，在我們回去時因為機器設備問題無法使用，雖然我們提前抵達寄放行李，管家發現設備故障應該要即時告知我們，我們在規定的入住下午四點有返回稍作休息，大門完全沒有辦法打開，要不是因為打掃人員還在，也沒有人幫忙開門⋯管家是在超過入住時間才打電話通知我們密碼鎖更換密碼⋯ 整體來說這間民宿是一間不合格的住宿體驗，下次去台南不會再考慮回訪。

先來說說優點：飯店有停車配置很方便，雖然在安平不是非常熱鬧的地段，但樓下是全家也算便利。房間真的很大，還有客廳，浴室乾溼分離還有浴缸，剛進到房間看到為小壽星準備的氣球也是蠻用心的～ 兒童的玩樂區是重點，幾乎來的都是家庭客，因為沒有人流管制，同一時間小孩太多就比較難都玩到，年齡較大的兒童衝來衝去也比較會害怕小小朋友受傷～設施算多，清潔度也可以，小孩有得玩都開心啦😆，還有家長等待區可以來場桌球😀 小缺點：房間整理不夠乾淨，地板到處是灰塵塊及碎屑，進房時稍稍有點霉味，浴廁的水痕也都沒有完整擦拭，所以後來直接請房務再幫忙清潔一次，房務人員很客氣，再清潔一次就好很多；不過一開始房間冰箱沒有插電，裡面放了生日小蛋糕，可是放了4.5小時沒有插電的冰箱，媽媽不敢給小孩吃～後來跟櫃台反映，說是環保冰箱溫度比較不會太低，但重點是沒插電啊🤔 於是房務人員清潔時，又請他們幫忙反映一次，才換了一塊新的蛋糕⋯感覺飯店稍微粗心大意一點，整體來說還算可接受，希望業主再多注意細節唷～

第二次入住了，還是一樣非常好，衛浴、床位、公共區域都讓人無法挑剔，就是給個一些小建議， #淋浴間洗手台下方能放椅子，吹頭髮不用站著 #公共區域的桌面能放包衛生紙（擦嘴、眼睛等等之類的），這樣就不用再跑到二樓去淋浴間拿 非常感謝^^

Boutique hotel is beautiful and attractive. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean but have two big pillars in the room. Air conditioner is cold. Nice location, foods is surrounded, just walk around you can find what food you want. Tourist attractions are also nearby. You can call a taxi or grab to go somewhere farther away. The map inside the lift is very useful.

Lokasinya sangat baik di bandar, terdapat tempat letak kenderaan di mana anda boleh meletakkan kenderaan anda dan ia bernilai baik untuk wang! Sangat disayangkan bahawa bilik ini tidak mempunyai tingkap dan bilik mandi sangat bersih. Kembali lain kali! 👍

Location of the hotel is ok with some of restaurants around. There are few stairs in front of the hotel. When we arrived the hotel, no one to come out to help us to carry our luggages (total four big to medium sized luggages) to the reception. We had to do this by ourselves. We booked two deluxe rooms and arrived around 2pm, the receptionist asked us to come back at 4pm as the rooms were not yet ready and emphasised the checkout time should be 11am. Since the checkout time is so early, the hotel should provide us the room sharp at 3pm according to the agreed terms. After some arguments, the receptionist promised to send us email when the rooms were ready but couldn’t guarantee to give us the rooms by 3pm. At last, it was good the receptionist notified us the rooms were ready around 2.35pm. The room is spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. No toothpaste plus toothbrush and bottled mineral water are provided. A plastic bottle is provided for you to go out to the machine to get the drinking water while the toothbrush is provided after asking the receptionist. Understood it is for green environmental protection but not convenient for the guests. The breakfast is not attractive as chose of foods are limited. Learned that the Chinese foods of the hotel restaurant is quite good but we couldn’t try it as the Chinese foods are only provided from Friday to Sunday. Car parking is very good and it is free
