Hotel berhampiran Chen Tian-lai Residence, Taipei

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The room was lovely and spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a big bathtub and complimentary access to a washing machine and dryer – a real convenience for hotel guests. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, and their English proficiency made communication a breeze. The hotel's location was perfect for me, with a 7-11 and plenty of food options nearby, making it easy to grab a quick snack or a meal whenever I wanted. The only minor inconvenience was the walk from Daqiaotou MRT exit 1, which took around 7-10 minutes. Unfortunately, there was no shelter, so it could be challenging in rainy weather. My advice: don't forget to bring an umbrella! Despite that small hiccup, I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Taipei. The overall experience, from the room amenities to the friendly staff and convenient location, left a lasting impression. Highly recommended!

Lokasinya bagus kerana berdekatan dengan stesen, dan ia bagus untuk mempunyai pasar betul-betul di hadapan hotel. Saya membeli tomato, dan ia segar dan lazat. Seronoknya mempunyai restoran Taiwan di seberang jalan. Kebanyakan kakitangan ramah, tetapi ada yang tidak.... Agak menyusahkan pintu bilik air tidak berkunci. Namun, ia bagus untuk harganya. Sila ambil perhatian bahawa ia terletak di tingkat 2 dan tiada lif.

今月オープンしたばかりのソラリア。大浴場はないものの日本の西鉄グループホテルのいいとこ取りしたような感あり。部屋は明るくさすが令和のホテルの雰囲気。トイレとバスルームは独立型。バスルームには椅子もあり広々として使い勝手が良い。ただ洗面台が小さく飛び散りが酷いのが難。あとテレビのチャンネルが少なくWi-Fiが時々切れるのが気になった。連泊者は エコ清掃ということで基本タオル交換とゴミ回収のみとのことだったがコーヒー、お茶、ミネラルウォーターまで部屋の前に置いてあったのは日本でもなかなかお目にかかれなく感動もの。朝食は自前レストランで和食がメイン。京風の小鉢、自家製豆腐もあり、豚汁はやや味薄。牛肉麺はオーダー制。台湾のホテルには珍しく氷もあった。品数はそれほどではなく札幌のソラリア並み。団体客がいるわけでもないので落ち着いてゆっくり楽しめた。今台湾とりわけ台北のホテルは軒並み宿泊料金が高騰しているのでこのクラスの日系ホテルに泊まるのもひとつの選択肢かもしれない。

We chose the perfect hotel for our week-long family vacation. The location couldn't be better. It was right across Ximending Night Market. Glad it was just across and not in the middle of the night market. It was a bit chaotic over there. Another good surprise was that Animate (my son's favorite anime merchandise store) was right across (not even 30 steps away, I think) the hotel entrance. It was also convenient to have a 7-11 on the ground floor. Security wasnothing to worry about because you need a keycard to go to the guest room floors. I really liked the design of the hotel. As you can tell from the photos, the design is very chic and modern. I also appreciated the 24h coffee and lounge access. Breakfast was nice too. Wish they served it until 11am. My son, who likes to sleep in, missed breakfast everyday. 😄 The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even took time to Google my questions about some vegetables served at breakfast that I've never seen before. I also commend their housekeeping staff. We turned down their offer for a clean up but they asked if we at least wanted our towels changed (which we did.) Water pressure and temperature was very good. Wish there was more light in the bathrooms, though. Another thing that would've helped was if we each had our own key cards. We were 3 people but only had 2 keys. My son was out with one key so I couldn't go to the laundry room because our other key was in the card slot to have power in the room. Minor inconveniences though but still excellent overall. We are definitely staying here again if we ever come back to Taiwan!

This is my 3rd time booking into Wow Poshtel. Clean and well managed facility. Fast check in procedure. Great location, easy accessible to Ximending. The only downside is - the air ventilation is not so well managed as the air conditioning could be very strong at one side but feel nothing on the other side in the room.

Good location near Taipei Station but no window in the room so you can't tell is day or night and the toilet is translucent glass so will be problem for friend or colleagues if share room. Toilet don't have shelve to place toiletries and no mirror in the room for dress up.

This is our fourth time staying at this hotel. The location is perfect and very convenient. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they provide just enough space to spread out our luggage. They also have coin-operated laundry facilities, although there might be a wait during busy times. The breakfast spread is quite good. They even have Japanese-style options available on the other side of the dining area. One downside to note is the water pressure, which I mentioned during check-in. They accommodated my request by assigning me to a lower level where the water pressure was slightly better. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again next year if we come to Taipei.

Located within minutes from Ximending and the Taipei metro, so it was the perfect location for me. I had the deluxe room which was spacious, with lots of room space to move around and there was a mini fridge, open wardrobe where I could hang my clothes and a counter top on the side with 2 chairs. The shower and toilet was also spacious with a kinda bathtub. Shower gel and shampoo in dispenser were also available. Toothrbrush, shaver, comb and shower cap were all available during check in if required and bathroom slippers were also available in the room. Little things that made everything complete. At the concierge, there were snacks that were free of charge for guests and a water dispenser that serves sparkling water which was so cool! The room will be cleaned upon request and when I asked why, they said cos some guests want their privacy and do not wanna be disturbed so they will only clean the room upon request. Luckily I am quite a tidy person and didn’t eat in my room so my room was generally clean and didn’t really need any cleaning during my stay. Towels were sufficient and I only needed more tissue and mineral water during my stay and was given to me upon my request. If anything is needed, the concierge is also available 24 hours which ensured peace of mind for every guest. But most of all, it was the staff that made my stay fun and memorable. They were extremely friendly and approachable. I love the family/friends feel whenever I was in their space. They were also extremely helpful when I asked about where I could get great local food and they would even Google and show me exactly what they were recommending and made sure I will get to the desired destination. Overall, this is a great hotel that I would highly recommend for anyone when travelling to Taipei Taiwan.

I had a pleasant solo stay here. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly, making for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.
